Shuriken99 Hey, I'm Shuriken.
Currently, I'm raising money to collect a Blood Angels Army. I'm not a close-combat nut like my other friends, but I like their story, and I have plans on how to destroy my friend who plays chaos with them. ^^ I might be able to get the special rule preferred enemy with him when we fight because of my chapter's story. Let's just say that the chaos didn't play nice with them when they were captured. ^^
They called me a little crazy when I told them my plans for Apocalypse matches with my blood angels. An almost fully armored force consisting of 10 predators with twin-linked lascannons and side-sponson lascannons. So, that's 0 twin-linked shots and an additional 20 regular lascannon shots. The rest will be filled by three squads of 5 snipers. Call me insane, but mix this with another player who plays an assasult army and that's death. ^^
I also have a slight interest in Daemonhunters. After I get my blood angels, I might get them as well. Once again, not an assasult fan, but an army of grey knights is too insane to pass up. Welcome to the golden throne ! I like some of the ideas for your Blood angels army, Crazy sometimes works, I play a Assault/Deepstrike oriented army my self. Plus crazy and blood angels kinda works together any way. wink

I was thinking Tau at first, but I've quickly understood my friends' saying of "Pfhtt...Tau" with snickering afterwards. So, I saw the Blood Angels story and pretty much fell in love with it.

Hey names Heritor Asphodel (and yes i did pull that from Necropolis {if anyone read that})
im not all that great at warhammer yet but i am learning....slowly. To be perfectly honest my friend got me started in it via Dawn of War and i instantly thought "wow this has been around for how long and i over looked it how?".
The armies i am most interested in are the Imperial Guard (mostly because there more human than the Space Marines), and the Necrons its just something with having to bring back downed units midway through a fight really appeals to me. So right now im going to be saving up some $$$$ to get on me feet (cant do much with just 20 IG and a Sential now can you? mad )
*note....i have some random Chaos Space Marines 5 total and a Chaos Spawn*

Hi my name is Warrior. You don't have to call me that as it was the only thing I could come up with i knew that wouldn't be taken.
I am a sort of Vet when it comes to Warhammer. I play 3 armies all of which....are roughly 4000 points or less. I am may say Im an old hand at the game but theres always things im willing to learn.
I play the Space Marines with a great joy in my heart ( YA MARINES). I also play the Eldar army and a Tau army...come to think of it i could have retired on the money i spent on those models.....OH WELL!
I havn't bothered to count how many soldgers i have but suffice to say....ALOT and as a side note. I like terminators!
hope to have alot of fun here and can't wait to meet everyone

Welcome to the Golden Throne! We have a wealth of knowledge and ideas to share with all of our members. We love here about your battle both goofy and serious and seeing pics of your armies even if they aren't quite done!

Hi, I'm Cam. I play Chaos Space Marines, centered around Emperors Children and the forces of Slaneesh. I cannot stand Eldar. (They're the ones I always crush first in DOW: DC). I havent had the chance to play against eldar in tabletop. Despite all of the flak that Chaos Dreadnoughts get, I love them. Their fluff story is by far the most awsome stuff ever.I'm hoping to get a Sonic Dreadnought with Blastmasters from Forgeworld soon, when I get the ridiculous amount of money. With that, my army will compose completly of sonic warriors and basic heavy support when its done.
Doom sirens and Sonic Blasters, ftw!

s'goin on? My names Matt, and I've ecently been running under the banner of the World Eaters. Even more specific, anything Involving Khorne is a good thing in my opinion. I love the WH40K books, all but for the Ultramarines(instinctual hatred for the Ultramarines and Imperial Fists).

Hi there. The name's Putrid, and I just got back into the hobby. So far, I'm just toying around with a few conversions I've always wanted to do, and I'm building up a White Scars army.
Back in 3rd Edition, I played a Berzerker army which basically trumped everything until Necrons were introduced. Even so, the Collar of Khorne was the best item ever. As long as you invested the points for each and every champion, Eldar and anything else Psyker-based couldn't touch you... Ah, those days.
When I ran out of time to play, I sold the whole lot (seems like a really stupid idea in retrospect).
So, I'm basically starting from scratch save for a few bitz and pieces I still had stored away. It's all back to filing, drilling and sculpting for me. When things take a more permanent form, I'll post some pictures here and on CMON.
By the way, I'm having a blast making a LOTD squad right now...

'ello.... I'm Dronze.
I play CSMs, and with my 2 Superheavy tanks included, I think I run around 9000 points and change, as well as some 2000 points of 'nids.
I also thouroughly enjoy building orky stuff. Orky stuff rules, modelwise.
Anywho, enough introing, you'll get to know how I operate though my posts, I hope... and if not, well... tough noogies for you.

anyway, i play blood angels mainly, with a little dabbling with the great hive mind i enjoy painting and gaming and i rarely lose. not braggin or anything xd

Names Ranu. Nice to meet ya.
I'm not so good at 40k at the moment, but I collect a Space Marine army, and plan to get an Imperial Guard story after. I'm more a lover of fluff, but the games brilliant. I love the tactics, and sheer bloody mindedness of it.
My favorite books are the Horus Heresy series. Its quite amazing to see the charm of Chaos.
I'll probably be clogging up the RP forums mainly.

Hello. You can call me Chruznich. I haven't been playing the miniatures game for long but I am a veteran at Dawn of War. I am raising an Ultramarines army, as I have an instinctual fondness of their tactics and heraldry. The thought of each and every Ultramarine being brothers forged in battle really speaks to my soul since both of my real brothers want pretty much nothing to do with me. hello, I am charles. I am going to play orks that I got from the assalt on black reach box set. I have painted my marines black white and red. the orks are taking or ever to paint because the "right" shade of green is impossible to find or make. I have played one warhammer 40k table top game and one because my opponent didn't know how to use his space marines. I spent all the money I had left over from my job (that I quit) to get a mage armored 'nob and a burna' squad. I have painted 4 and a half of my 20 ork boyz I need some painting tips. If any one wants to help that would be nice.
