Raquel lit up t the idea. "I've never eaten there before either...oh it looks so lovely, and I hear their food is wonderful." She commented, a dreamy look in her eyes. "I Say we go for it." She added wit ha nod to Damian.

Richard was a little uncomfortable since he was planning on surprising Lorey with a dinner there tomorrow night but he figured their was no harm in ordering out. This way he could at least see what Lorey liked to eat so he could be prepared.

And so, Damian went back online to procure a menu, giving everyone the opportunity to order just what they desired. He of course payed for everything, even having them go so far as to deliver it right to the doorstep.

Once everyone was properly situated with their personal orders and complimentary sparkling waters, it seemed like the most expensive casual dinner anyone could have.
Lorey was seated with a chicken alfredo dish, a light salad, and a dessert of strawberries and cake. She seemed so content with everything that she hardly spoke, if ever only to laugh or just to place a little input into the conversation.

Raquel was immersed in her own food as well. She was so intent on enjoyig every succulent bite that she too paid little to the conversation, but did realize her appetite had grown since being with Damian. She guessed it was her body getting used to regular meals and liking how it felt.

Richard was a little skeptical with all the fancy food though did admit it was decent. he would have just as well had a greasy hamburger, fries, and a beer, but if this made Lorey happy, he was too.

Lorey began looking rather tired after her food was all finished. Despite her ability to move around and walk on her own, she still appeared very worn and in bad need of sleep. Happy, but worn.
As she sat on the couch, she leaned her head on Richard's arm, eyes closing just slightly...

"Looks like someone is a bit sleepy," Damian said with a slightly happy little lilt. He'd had just a touch too much to drink, and the tiredness it was causing him made him slightly giddy. "Tuck her in, get her to dreamland..."

Richard had only a bit to drink, making him only a tad tired himself but nothing more. But he nodded, scooping up Lorey like a princess as he carried her off to her room.

Raquel smiled warmly as she watched them go, topping off her glass with a little more champagne. She stood, a little dizzy, kissed Damian on the lips, for perhaps a moment or two too long before pulling back, smiling seductively, then simply turning to the little cat carrier in the corner. "Hey there Trinity...I'm sorry we had you in here all afternoon...but at least now you're well rested." She sighed,, unlocking the door as she scooped up the little kitty. The small and fluffy calico cuddled up against her, making her smile as a soft but noticeable purr emitted from the creature. Raquel scratched it's ears and chin lovingly before setting her down. "We have some food, a bed and facilities for you..." She laughed a little as she made her way towards the laundry room, opening the door. Trinity looked inside then meowed loudly, most likely expressing her thanks before disappearing to most likely explore, eat, then fall asleep herself.

Once she had Trinity taken care of, she somehow managed her way back towards the living room where Damian was, feeling slightly drunk. She had herself propped up against the doorway, giggling a little to herself. "You sir...are devilishly handsome. Did you know that??" She asked, cocking an eyebrow and shaking her head in an exaggerated manner, but still kept her eyes on him.

Meanwhile Richard had taken Lorey to her room, setting her down gently on the bed. He sat in the moonlight and just watched her even, slow breathing as he smiled. Finally he couldn't take it anymore. He leaned down and kissed her gently. "May I join you my lady?" He whispered, just wanting to hold her in his arms.

Damian was a bit messily spread out on the couch with a stupid grin on his face. Tipsy, but not quite out of his mind, he had to return the grand gesture.
With a flourish of his hand, he said, "I have been told before, but it rarely meant anything until said from you."

True, he'd been many a lady's man, but Raquel was just... different.

Lorey smiled, and reached up to touch his face. Richard was amazing to her, in nearly every way. It was still bothersome that he smoked and had a habit of getting drunk when things got too tough, but they could work it out. Give and take, that was what they were like so far.
"Come here..." she said, moving over for him, though she was sore. "I love you, Richard. You and everything you do or me all the time..."

Raquel laughed a little, sauntering over to him, Plopping herself gracefully right on top of him, smiling down at him like fool. She had never really been drunk before. Maybe once or twice on extremely rare occasions. But this would probably be one of the times, even if she wasn't completely drunk. She was just a bit past tipsy. She leaned down, kissing him a few times before making herself more comfortable on him. "You're so sweet..." she cooed, playing with his hair idly. She kissed his mouth, then his chin, and worked her way down his throat and upper chest, letting her hands explore on their own. "I'd be more than willing to have my way with you and vise ver-rsa..." She said a bit slurred as she kissed on him again. "If-I wasn't soscrd that you-you'd jsut turn into one of my cli-clients..." She muttered, not really even listening to what she was saying. "I don't want ot lose you D-Dam- Damian....I can't, I just can't..." She didn't realize that tears had started to fall as she laid on him, her hands and kisses both stopping as she just sat in silence, her own thoughts taking over her, her eyes growing a slight shade darker.

Richard crawled into bed next to her, kissing her gently. He smiled at her words, moving her hair from her face. "Lorey...what would make you happiest in life?" He asked, just looking at her with deep interest.

Damian gladly joined her in wandering kisses and hands, still slightly aware of morals and at the same time, just wishing they could let it all go.
"I'm not your client," he whispered, just watching her. The eyes were changing again, he knew. And that usually lead to emotional catastrophe. Maybe if he could say the right thing, she might feel more secure. It was no longer about sleeping with her because of his own wants, but there was this strange desire to have her let go for the sake of losing her fears.
"You're not my... mistress. You are not going to lose me, 'Quel. I wouldn't toss you aside after, I would not..."

"Me?" she whispered. It required some thought, to be sure. To help with it, she just lay there, moving her fingers down his cheek and back up to his brow again. Peace was the first thing that came to mind, but she had it right then and there...
"I want... to have a steady job. And a home. A nice home. I've told you this before, but... I also want you to be happy, and healthy, and not so full of the stress and worries that you're not good enough all the time..."

Raquel furrowed her brow sadly, as her eyes clouded over a bit more. "T-that's what they all say..." Her voice shook as her tears began to turn a dark blue color again. "No...No...you're...you're not like that..." She corrected herself, shutting her eyes tightly. She slid herself down so her head could rest on his chest and she hugged him tightly. "Damian- ...." just saying his name- She wanted anything, anything to just take away the pain, the fear, the horrid feelings bottled up inside her. She just wished she could somehow exclude Damian from having to get involved in her emotional mess of a mind, but she sadly knew there was no stopping that.

Richard sighed, taking it all in. He rolled over on his back so that he could still have an arm around her but he kept his gaze up at the ceiling. "I've...I've decided to...to quit smoking..." He said so softly, he wasn't sure if Lorey even heard him. He just kept his steady gaze up at the white washed ceiling, his words hovering.

One side of him cringed with another lost chance. It was becoming so incredibly frustrating, but he did love her, and so he'd just have to wait.
Then, he just wrapped his arms around her in a tight hug, one hand rubbing her shoulders and the other just keeping a tight grip so she wouldn't slip into her nightmares again.

"Really?" Lorey had heard him. She'd thought it too difficult for him to stop, and had begun to accept it as something they'd have to work around.

"Richard..." She turned over to her side so she could be the one holding him, kissing his cheek only once. It was her tight, tight hug on him and her silence for a few moments that said the incredible thank you she wanted to say.
"That's... that's so wonderful, I don't even know where to begin. I'll help you every step of the way, I promise, I'll do whatever I can... that's so wonderful, Richard."

Raquel shook her head in his chest. "God..." She cried slightly muffled to him. "I hate that I know where this is coming from..." She grasped his shirt tightly, feeling more anger now than grief or confusion. "It's their fault...." She rolled over slightly. so she could at least just find comfort in his arm as she looked down at her wrist. The little silver bracelet hung loosely, making her scowl. "I hate them....for where they've put me..." She added softly, not deterring her stare.

Richard let his face soften as he shut his eyes. Lorey's hold made him sigh contently. "I love you...and I want you to be happy as well...Always know that...." he said quietly.

"Raquel," he said, sounding almost agitated with her. He was sobering up slowly, so his classic Damian clear-headed mentality was coming back as well. "I don't know what you're talking about, love..."
He rubbed his eyes anxiously. He did love Raquel, but she so badly needed to sort herself out. It was becoming tiring and frustrating to see her cry so often and not know anything of where it was coming from. And now that she seemed to know, he did, too. It was the only way he could possibly help her in any way.

"But you're doing it for yourself, too, right? Not just for me? Because this is your health we're talking about, Richard, not mine."
Lorey loved him, but there were times when he seemed almost too selfless, too desperate to make things better and to patch things up. This decision, she knew, had to be made for himself, not her.

Raquel sat up, not looking at him. "My parents." She answered curtly, scowling down at the floor. "I'm remembering everything since our little episodes on Altru. I'm remembering it all and I hate it!" Her voice rose a little with a venomous twist to it. "I used to think that I was all alone, that I was just separated or lost from my family. I thrived on my own, but I always had hope that they loved me and that My life just wasn't fair enough to permit me to see them again..." She closed her eyes slightly, her breathing quickening. Her face grew angry and her breathing faster as she shook her head violently. "I was so wrong...so wrong.." Hot tears fought to seep through her clenched eyes but she wouldn't allow it.
"My father ...was Amarithian...my mother...nothing but a common whore off the streets like me..." She opened her eyes slightly her voice shaking with her body. "He was one of my mothers main clients...untill she got pregnant." She swallowed hard, looking away. "Ah- I'm sorry...you don't want to hear this, and I don't want to think about it..." She whispered, even though she knew the latter would happen anyhow.

Richard kissed her, looking her in the eye. "Lorey...there is very little in this world that makes me happy....in fact...there is nothing...nothing but you. So I make it my life goal to just see you smile... You're smile brings me joy and peace...It's priceless for that alone, but there's so much more..." he said this quietly, his whole soul poured into it as he gazed into her lovely blue eyes.

"If you want to tell me, and share the pain, you'll have to think about it," he said quite firmly before taking her shoulders in his hands to make him face her. Damian had never been so rough with her, but this was becoming ridiculous.
"You have to think about it. If you become the type of person to ignore a problem in some effort to make it go away, it never will, and it will poison you slowly."

"Richard..." Lorey sat up fully in the bed, looking at him with troubled eyes. "Nothing? You don't look at the sun when it rises, you don't look at the dew on the sidewalks in the morning? You just... miss out on books and the world? It's all me?"
It was terribly unsettling for her... She'd never been so much to anyone but her mother, and now here was wonderful Richard who seemed obsessed. "We're going to fix this, you know."

Raquel shook her head. "I didn't ask for it you know!?" She shouted, jerking away from his hold, standing away from him. "I didn't ask for all these horrid memories to come back to me! I would have been just fine my whole life not knowing I was a b*****d child that no one wanted! That even my supposed father tried to get close, buying me this piece of-" She jerked the bracelet off, leaving a little red scar on her arm from the sudden violent movement. "I didn't want to know how he beat and abused my mother! I didn't want to remember watching from the closet!" She was in tears by now, still blue and charged with emotion. "I remember the filthy apartment, the way he touched me! The way that even after the abuse to both me and my mother, she wouldn't believe me or let him go!!! She hated me and so did he!" She started to hyperventilate as she continued. "I didn't ask to remember her screaming 'you said you wouldn't leave me!' as he walked out of her life and mine forever!" She was practically screaming herself by now, her face red from crying. "I didn't want to remember my mother blaming me, throwing me to the streets, saying how useless and horrid I was! She didn't want me! Neither did he! No one ever wanted me so why the hell am I here remembering it all now!?" She screamed her question to no one in particular, throwing the bracelet in her hand as hard as she could before crumpling to the floor in a heap.

Richard heard the fuss in the other room, but ignored it, knowing the two were always having their ups and downs and didn't want to get involved. Instead he focused on Lorey. "Lorey...I'll be honest with you..." He said, sitting up himself. "When Rose died....All happiness, even anything that remotely resembled joy, left me...I was void of anything but gilt, grief, and hate....Until you..." He touched her face. "Lorey, if I loved you simply because you resembled Rose...I wouldn't be so happy. I'd feel lost, alone, desperate and grief stricken...But I'm not any of that around you. When you came into my life....Thats when I started to notice all those things. the sun seemed brighter, the sky bluer...The grass greener and the flowers happier...." He kissed her forehead. "Lorey....You've....done more than you could ever understand. I don't understand it all myself...." he laughed a little, shaking his head. "That's why..." He pursed his lips, looking down as if making up his mind. "Lorey....um....s-stay here..." He said quickly, taking off towards the door. "Don't move...please." he said with a shy smile, holding up his finger as he disappeared down the hall.
