[OH! Thanks, that cleared things up well]

She glanced down at her own weapon and smiled a little. "Don't suppose this piece of scrap would count, then." She leaned it carefully against the wall, and opened her fist, hearing several small cracks. Had she really held it that long? She lazily turned to look at the strange irishman once more as he began talking in that strong accent of his. Ah, a formerly wanted criminal, no wonder she got that sense from him. Well, at least he didn't seem too keen on shooting everybody just yet, as far as she found. She still didn't quite trust him. She rolled her eyes and half-smiled at his mention of cheer. Not cheery, not since a while. Even before, was she ever as "cheery" as he was?

Probably not.

Lilith heard the sudden gunshots and grabbed the crowbar, not sure what to do. She swallowed and tried to back up, just before realized that she was against the goddamn wall.

At this point, the woman really wished she'd had the guts to break into a gun shop and grab some kind of pistol.

((Ah, my apologies, I thought you meant the door to the surgery room and I was like "What the hell?!"
Alrighty then, I'll edit that part out.))

"Get behind me lass! The last bloody thing we need right now is to lose one o' the few women left on this rock of a planet!"

He jumped up from his seat and blew away the first Licker that had jumped towards the barricades. They were starting to come out more frequently.

He turned to both the old codger and his other companion,
"I hope you lads are a good shot, we're gonna need every damned bullet that we can spare!"

Just as he finished saying it, a group of zombies started fighting their way through the doorway. The leading one having the courtesy of having its head blown off by the Irishman's shotgun, and granting the others a smaller dosage of shrapnel. The last shot added a ringing noise to the powerful firing, signaling that it was out of shells.

"Bloody hell, I need ta reload, cover me!"

The ZDF soldiers opened up on the wave of zombies, two of the remaining three spraying their TMPs. They fired in controlled bursts, firing at their heads. When they were almost out, the called out, and the last soldier started firing while they reloaded. Then they switched.
Osiris stood outside the operating room door, calmly reloading his revolvers. A zombie burst past the line, and Osiris put it down with one shot. Still, more of them were coming.

As soon as Grigori heard the growl, he was on his feet with the pistol drawn. When the undead came into view, he took his time to aim before delivering each bullet to their targets. Unfortunately, it seemed all the ZDF and damned Irishman were getting their shots in before his own, so he began to only fire when the line was broken or multiple shooters were reloading. It was difficult not to squeeze the trigger, but his self-control was strong, and he managed to conserve a good deal of ammo. One thing that really irked the retiree though was the damned Irishman! He talked way too much, and in the midst of a zombie rush! Goddamned fool was quickly working his way toward Murdock's bad side.

Lilith would have protested, had she not been in a very unsafe feeling position, despite all the dudes with guns up ahead of her. The woman moved until she was mostly shielded by the Irishman's body, but of course, she still kept her back against the wall. She was not willing to get that close to any man, nevermind a damn con.

"I feel so useless..." Alaric muttered under his breath as he watched from behind the hail of bullets, he silently walked over to where Lilith was standing, "Not much we can do without a gun ... is there?" He still held the large knife in his right hand and a tonfa in his left. "You doing ok, you look a bit frazzled." He laughed at how stupid that sounded, "What am I talking about of course you are, I'm the crazy one for not being so jumpy right now aren't I." He leaned against the wall and slid to the floor, "Just nothing I can do."

Lilith cleared her throat and glanced at the man who had just decided to take a step or two closer to her. Frazzled, of course. She had to get her hands on something a smidge more useful sometime in the future, even if she couldn't shoot a target a meter wide. She'd have to learn. "We're all a bit crazy, take it from a psychologist." Her eyes took in the situation, plenty of the flesh-devouring monsters had been gunned down, their rotting corpses piling up on the ground, but more were coming to fill up the holes. "Trying not to get killed in this hellhole is a hard enough task, wouldn't you say?"

He shrugged while looking at his weapons, "No doubt, I know I could do something even without a gun, but to step in front of that barrage to get a swing in would be suicide. So you used to be a psychologist? That's useful at least, I don't have any kind of training like that, all I'm good at doing is sneaking and getting where I shouldn't be." He winced at another shot, "Too noisy, just going to bring more... that's why I like these," He indicated his weapons, "Quick and silent."

Drusilla tried not to jump as the gunshots started to go off.

"What the hell? she mumbled, glancing at the door after handing the tools to her temporary boss.

Two people out there were useless in a fight, and while she could use a gun, she also knew first aid and no one else seemed to be jumping at the chance to help the man on the table. Shaking her head, she placed her fingers on his pulse andreported their normalicy.

"Faint, but steady," She spoke.

Patrick sighed as he looked onwards and the waves of undead just kept coming. This was still a tight corridor and the stairwell's entrance would be an ideal blockage point. The other soldiers who were out here clearly had a handle on things at the moment, but if they sat here for too long, they'd all run out of ammo and be sitting ducks.

The Irishman frowned at the thought of wasting another ale, but he decided it was for the best. Extracting a small canister of gasoline from his pack that he had intended to use for his motorcycle and one of the three remaining beer bottles, he raised the glass high and said:

"Cheers, lads. This'll put a light in their eyes."

He tilted his head back and chugged down the beverage in a hurry and coughed for a moment but shook his head and laughed afterwards as more gunfire echoed through the halls. He quickly and carefully poured the motor oil into the empty glass container. When it was three-quarters full, he took his plaid shirt and ripped another strip from the same place he had earlier. Placing the strip inside the top of the concoction, it became a wick, available for lighting. He waited for the right moment to chuck the cocktail, hoping that he could hold onto it until absolutely necessary.

She nodded, agreeing with him. "Shot full of bullets if you're not careful." She grimaced at his reference to her career choice. "Useful... I haven't found much use for it yet." She almost felt like plain chucking the junk metal at one of the zombies and hoping it would knock it's damn head off, but the chances of that happening were slim to none. She'd need it if anything broke through the armed gunmen.

At the Irishman's telltale voice, she looked directly ahead of her. "What the hell are you-!" She stopped as she realized he was creating a makeshift bomb for this onslaught. Clever, where'd he pick that up?

"Well at least you can keep people from freaking out." He jerked his head when he saw the glass bottle in his peripheral vision, "Oh s**t... don't tell me he plans on using that, it'll light up this entire building." He said in a hushed voice, then turned to Lilith, "We need to find a fire extinguisher, I doubt we could get it from him, and fire does not work on these things, I've tried... will you look over that way?" He went in the other direction without waiting for her answer.

((It's a molotov, not a grenade... lol. It will basically create a wall of fire at the point of impact not "light up the whole building". Also, I previously made use of it outside... so maybe your explosives weren't powerful enough heh... but Jokerman didn't say I was overstepping my bounds, so I'm assuming its all good.))
