Yin moved quickly towards the last known location of the Eternal Eye. She slowed down her speed looking around closely to see if she could find Azelf.

Now Hiro was fired up and anxious for his fight with Annexus. I'll kill him with my own two hands. He will pay for everything that he has done. He will pay for slaughtering helpless newborns just because they had red eyes. He will pay for threatening people's lives. He will die by my hands. I'll make sure of that.
"I know this is probably too much to ask for, but I wish someone would just come let us out," Mina said.

Lifting his head he smirked at Hiro's thoughts and then looked at Mina and said "I wish that lieutenant would just hurry and pick one of us. Then we will probably be let out to watch the battle..."

Annexus did something he rarely did. He hugged Lilly, he never hugged anyone. And then he left her in the throne room to her thought. "I'll be back in a little while."
He went to find Rina.

"We could just as easily be kept in here while that person fights her alone," Mina said as a reply. "I'd rather not take that risk." Though I can pick locks, I doubt I'd be able to free everyone else before the guards come, Mina thought to herself.
I won't. I'll make sure to think of a strategy before the fight, Hiro thought back.

Rina and Rita were in the gardens. Rina was trying to keep her mind off the upcoming fight and the life-changing decision she was about to make by enjoying her time with Rita. For the first time since before Rita's capture, Rina was truly happy.

Annexus found Rina in the Garden, but opted to wait a while before making his appearance. He liked the fact that Rina was happy, and didn't like having to interrupt.
When he did speak, that fact was obvious on his face. "Rina, I'm sorry to interrupt, but its time."

Good. Mimi thought back to him. She then sat in the middle of the cell and sighed. "I wish they would just decide already....." She murmured. Even if they didn't plan on letting the others out to see the fight, Mimi would make sure she was out to make sure nothing bad happened to the one fighting.

Lilly was only slightly shocked that she had gotten a hug from Annexus. She sank to her knees when he left, crying for no real reason. After a minute she composed herself and left for her room. When she got there she locked the door and went to her bed, crying the whole way.

"Huh? Yes, sir," Rina said. She knew that the happiness was only temporary, but she had found herself wishing that it was forever. Now the time has come for her to choose who to fight, and a sadness took the place of the happiness. Who should I fight? Not Wade's sister. Wade would kill me. Annexus probably wants to kill that boy, the one with the poison. That girl was too weak: the fight would be too much in my favor. I want it to be a fair match. So that leaves the other boy and the other girl, she thought. (she obviously doesn't know their names)

Hiro was busy trying to think of a strategy. Agh! I can't think of a strategy! I don't even know if I'll be aloud to use me crossbow and my darts! he thought, getting frustrated.
