Saki was standing a little away from the group. Saki saw Kit poking the demon, then saw the demon yell at her. Surprisingly, the demon obeyed Ryuk. I would never be able to control a demon like that, she thought. Ryuk then introduced himself to Kit.

((lol i didnt mean you, I meant at the stairs. its my fault really, I figured someone would react to Gallant waltzing in the room shouting good morning razz ))
"Man! This will take some getting used to, being in a school with all these type of people." Gallant stressed 'these' and 'people' to indicate a greater meaning, wearing a knowing look to indicate he meant people with special abilities. He leaned on the table with one elbow and made a show of adjusting the rose, placing it on his collar. The whole time, however, his eyes were on the student across from him.
"I mean, I'm so used to a school full of your run of the mill human. All my friends are human. Now I see you, and I mean you COULD be human....or you could be a vampire like Silvia there, or a werewolf or...well....or just different." Gallant said with a smirk. He had leaned ever closer to the boy until he was almost whispering and then suddenly snapped back with a laugh.
"And then there is personality. I mean half the people here seem like they would be better off if everyone in the world didnt exist. They are so confrontational, its like trying to make friends with a baited bear! But really everyone's personality is unique. it makes it just that much more fun knowing how different we all are!" Gallant's eyes were wide and wild with anticipation.
"I just can't wait to see what happens! Aren't you excited?" Gallant asked, sincerity exuding from his every word.

Silvia merely looked at the boy with a shrug. "Meh, I just don't trust the guy; it's as if he's hiding something, or some different side of him. I don't like it; I"m all for keeping things to one's self, but not when it effects other people." she said a bit dryly, the thought Kit in her mind again. She refused to let him hurt her sister....or there will be hell and back, and back to hell again to pay.
"I'm Kit!" she answered, shaking the boy's hand. Though when hearing her stomach rumble, she made a face similar to one having jsut eaten something quite sour.
"Nyaaaah, let's get some food!" the girl suggested again; despite her petite figure, she was one to like eating.

When Kit suggested to go eat, Saki shrugged. "You can go on ahead, Kit," she said. "I don't have anything to eat(actually drink) in the morning." With that being said, she leaned against the dorm building and pulled her ocarina out of her bag.(She had secretly put in in there.) She then put the ocarina to her mouth, closed her eyes and played. While Melanie laughed and chatted with the students she'd found, Sarah hung back, feeling shy and awkward in her new clothes. One night with a new friend and a makeover couldn't change her deeper feelings.
Melanie finished talking to a boy named Razz - Probably for his hair, Sarah thought, looking at the boy's bright red shock of hair. Who has that color naturally? - and turned to go into the cafeteria. She started walking away, and Sarah followed, catching her hand.
Melanie turned with a bright smile. "Yes? Who is-" Sarah saw the shock and recognition suddenly spread across her face. Melanie brought a hand to her mouth. "Omigod. I can't believe I did that. I just..."
"It's okay," Sarah promised. "It happens all the time."
Melanie's expression grew serious and determined. "It's not okay," she said sternly. "If this keeps happening, no one will ever notice you."
Privately, Sarah thought that this might not be such a bad thing, but she wasn't going to tell that to Melanie. "Next time that happens, just touch my hand again," she was saying. "I'm a very tactile person, so even if I forget, I'll remember you as soon as-"
Some notes on a wind instrument drifted over to them, and Melanie froze, entranced. "Oh, wow," she breathed. Melanie started off to find the music's source and Sarah slunk after her.
She found Melanie next to a pink-haired girl, swaying a little and crooning a wordless accompaniment to the airy tune. Melanie's eyes were closed, and she had a look of bliss on her face.
When the song finished, Melanie sighed happily and blinked once, breaking herself out of her trance. Then she gave the girl an apologetic smile and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "Sorry," she said. "I just love music. What was that song you played?"

Saki was shocked when a girl came over to her and started singing along with her playing. "Um... It's called 'A Place I'll Return to Someday'," Saki replied to the girl's question. "My name is Saki," she said with a smile.

Reven's finished his breakfast and really had no where to look so he actually looked at Silvia as she talked, it was odd to him, a vampire without those crimson red eyes. Was that color caused from having human blood? He asked himself, then thought of Saki, she had red eyes, but it didn't seem like she was attacking anyone. "So...I've read alot of things about vampires, can you maybe tell me about your race so I can figure out what is fact and what is bullcrap?" Reven asked with curiosity, he was hoping maybe this would get her talking, if not he really had nothing else to say.

"I'm Melanie, Melanie Rill," Melanie said, smiling and shaking hands with Saki. A movement caught her eye and she dragged Sarah in front of her. "And this is Sarah," she said with exaggerated patience. "Say hello, Sarah."
"Hi," Sarah mumbled, looking briefly at Saki and then looking away. A light blush stained her cheeks. She wasn't used to being around someone so forward.
Melanie laughed and let go of Sarah. "That song was really pretty," she continued. "I've never heard an instrument like that before. Is it some kind of flute?"

"It's nice to meet you both," Saki said. "Thank you. You are the first person to complement my playing. This is an ocarina. This particular one happens to be a triple, which has more notes than any other type of ocarina, so it's easier to play songs with it." Sarah seemed as if she was part of the background. A person who was very likely not to be noticed. Melanie was the complete opposite, with her hyper, outgoing attitude. What a strange pair, she thought.

"Cool!" Melanie gushed. "I can't play an instrument myself, but I love hearing people play."
Sarah noticed other people going into the cafeteria and realized she was very hungry. She tugged on Melanie's shirt, feeling like a child.
"What? Oh!" Melanie said as she saw what Sarah had. "Yeah, you're right.
"We're going to get some food," she told Saki. "Want to come with?"

Sarah kept going, but Melanie lingered. "Are you sure? You don't have to eat anything, you could just hang around and meet people..."
Just then, she seemed to realize she was alone and called out to Sarah, "Wait up!" Looking back at Saki, she said, "Just think about it. Hope to see you in class!" Then she ran after her roommate.

Kit grinned as the two girls were now linked arm in arm. "Hooray; to the food!" she declared, and they both headed towards the cafeteria.
As tehy entered, Kit also noticed hte nice lines and lack of price tags. "oooh, it's like a buffet! I'm gonna gain the freshman 15 with my luck." she said with a sweatdrop.
"I suppose....I could at least give you teh basics." she said causally.
"Ok, first off, we vampires do NOT sparkle in the sunlight; Twilight is an insult to real vampires, so don't believe a word that crazy woman wrote. Now that that's cleared up, what else.....well I can imagine that they're all different, but as for me, I don't really taste normal food all that much. Very tastless since we hunt for blood nad all."

"I hated that book so much, she's a great writer, but what she did with vampires pissed me off, because it goes against everything that I'd already read about. I'm glad it's not true." Reven said with more emotion than he was use to having in the mornings, probably from the amazing run. "So...what about turning into a vampire, how does that work? Well how would you do it anyway?" Reven asked curiously, trying to make eye contact as they spoke, if for any reason it was to test to see if she would hypnotize or daze him.
