Of course he would come to save them! He was his brother, and the pack's alpha. Nuzzling Gizmo softly, he would whisper in the pup's ear, "I couldn't loose my brother and favorite male, could I?" He gave off a smirk, before looking at Kamali and Ona. Cute couple. Aeria seemed to be curled up in the corner near the pups and lera, but not TOO close.
This was his family.. he would protect them no matter what.

Jade highly respected Haku, and imagined him as her own father. A figure she could look up too and rely on in all times. She wanted to get to know Haku better - he would be her "Pack father". She struggled onto her weakened feet and plotted over next to Haku.
Jade smiled fondly at the Alpha male. Haku, I never really had the chance to thank you for accepting me to join your pack. I feel so privaleged. My dependance has always been orientated around my grand-father, and now I feel part of a family. Thankyou.

He gave a small nod to Jade, and licked her forehead. "I'm really glad you decided to join us, Jade. I'm sure you'll be a beautiful wolf and a wonderful hunter." Giving her a small nod, he would look her over. She would turn out to be a fine pack member indeed.
"I'm honored that you apperciate our family," Nuzzling her softly, he would then see how tired she looked. "Are you sure you don't need rest, Jadey?" he would tease slightly, almost everyone had a nice name anyways.

She felt suddenly awkward on the mentioning of hunting, yet continued smiling at Haku, while blushing over his kind statement. She yawned and nodded at his question. I think I will go to sleep now. Thankyou Haku.
She crawled over next to Gizmo, shut her weary eyes, and trickled off into a safe and wonderous realm of dreams.

Bran sighed from his corner of the den, trying to be a lot smaller than it's actually possible for a grown human to be. He (very carefuly) unstrings the bow, wrapping the cord up and shoving it into a pocket. Better alternative than having a pup chew on the cord and being struck by the recoil when it snaps, the big alpha already looks ready to start a fight... He's glad to see that Helke and the other pup seem to have made it to the den, although it can't be helping the tense mood here. "Absoloutely out of your mind, Bran Greyjoy..." He curses himself quietly, although even that much speech earns him an funny sidelong look from the grey and white, who sneezes suspiciously in his direction.
Lexi She's never had reason to doubt Gaara's judgement since talking to him about why he left Feanaro's pack, and the one time she did doubt... Feanaro erased those doubts for her, but she still can't figure out why Gaara would bring the creature here...She settles down again, still tense, between the human and Lera and her pups. If she could she'd probably fit ALL the pups behind the wall she makes, but the other pups seem not at all concerned, and smell a little of human themselves, Gizmo especially, which seems somehow less surprising given his tendensy to try and make freinds with EVERYTHING. One of these days she expects to find him cuddled up to an deer...

((I just typed up a wicked long post and then gaia deleted it >__<;;;; ))
Her dream, was this the harbinger of the storm? The heat was soaked out from her den and she could feel the cold rise in, to greet bother her and her pups with it's icy breath. Chaos struck her as she heard the howls, yells, and cries of her fellow pack mates. All of lera's being, all of her instincts told her to stay inside her den: where it was safe but apparently her packmates thought otherwise. Lera helplessly was Lexi scoop up one of the female pups and head off to the pack den.She looked donw upon the two remaining puppies and quickly grasped the remaining female in her jaws. She would come back for the little male as soon as possible.
Lera hurried outside only to be stuck by the icy wind. She had to get her child out of the storm. She could feel her feet, face, and paws go numb as she trudge through the snow, against the elements. She hurriedly arrived at the pack den, placing the little female besides Lexi only to run back out into the vicious storm.
The storm had become worse and lera could abrely see two feet in front of her. The wind whipped the snow about and her legs would sink deep into the powder, dissabling her mobility; to and extent. Her body was running on pure adrenaline and she no longer felt fear, or cold, her mind was set to fetch the last pup that was beginning to freeze in the den. Her heart wrenched at the thought, and so only proceeded faster.
But suddenly her body was hit with a strong force, as if a human has thrown a heavy stone at her. Lera fell face first into the snow but quickly picked up her speed, only to be hit with more flying rocks; which were in acctuality: ice. She had never experienced hail before and it filled her with fear. She was hit many more times along with lashing winds before she had reached her den entrance. But...where was her den? All she saw was snow. Lera sniffed the ground, digging her way back into her den entrance. Lera went up the chute, licking her cold pup before picking him up and rushing back to the den.
Once again she was pelted with hail, snow, winds, and no ability to sense where she was going or what was around her. Lera relied on her "mind map" and headed towards the energy output of others. She entered the den, exhausted. The majority of the pack was here but Lera could not go back out in the storm.
She quickly gathered up her pups into the far most corner of the den. Her body was bruised, cold, sore, and had a tiny gash on her forhead, but other than that she was fine. Her pups, however, were frozen and Lera quickly warmed their body with her milk. She would need to ween them soon, but that would have to come later.
Her stress level wa shigh and her patience was slow. Most likely any wolf, even Carmen, Lexi, or Haku, was to come close she would attempt a bite or n**. The fear had finally struck her, and she laid her head on the den floor; exhausted. She didn't even notice the human that had entered the den.

(( Hey, because of this storm and how the wolves survive should it be their namesake? o.o *for a pack name*
like... Storm, Tempest, Gale, Whiteout, Windstorm, August Gale etc etc I was also thinking on historical names..
Like the Yorks or Lancasters. The two royal families that fought for the throne in the War of the Roses.
*needs imput and ideas* ))

Gizmo had been in a half daze ever since he had been brought into the den, the sudden change of temperature making his brain feel somewhat giddy.
Opening his eyes he peered around the den, aware of all the bodies lying all amongst it. His eyes picked out White-eye and his tail wagged, the sound of it's thud sounded strangely noisy.
Moving his aching legs he lowered his muzzle to wash his paws and any other fur he could reach, he was a state, fur still damp from the snow and drying in a rather tangled mess.
As far as he was concerned, all the other wolves were snoozing, and he was content to sit and enjoy the peace, tending to his fur with considerable care for the young, male pup.
((that's a good idea indeed =3 ))

Aeria blinked several times in an attempt to shake off the sleepiness that was looming over her. It was hard not to be sleepy in the den, with all the other pups. The warmth from their bodies comforted her, even though she wasn't right up against them.
From her spot in the corner she could see the other wolves quite well. It was amazing how the pack had grown since she had joined, mostly due to Lera's litter. The new puppies were growing fast and becoming more active with every passing day, she observed.
It was strange living in the pack. A nice sort of strange, but still a big change from her previous lifestyle of wandering the woods alone. And to think, if she hadn't stumbled upon Gizmo none of this would have happened... Aeria glanced over at the male pup before yawning.

Gizmo sensed movement from somewhere behind him and swivveled back his large ears to pinpoint the location. After a moment he turned his head, blinking his eyes and peering through the darkness, trying his best to ignore the raging storm outside.
He was extremely happy to find the source of the noise was Aeria and got up slowly, whining a little at the strain on his legs. It seemed all that exercise and trudging against the fierce winds had strained his muscles, some of which he was never aware he had.
To be simple, the pup ached everywhere, and this was clear in his movements as he padded over to Aeria and gently eased himself to the ground beside her.
Reaching over he nudged at her cheek with his pink nose, surprised at how warm she felt. You not sleep? He questioned, not quite sure what else to say.

Aeria shook her head, rolling onto her side and looking up at Gizmo. I can't sleep, I... She blinked again, unsure of how to tell Gizmo that she was afraid of storms.
It's too loud to sleep, she said finally. Every sound from outside echoed loudly in her little skull, and it was certainly distracting when she wanted to nap.
She moved her head slightly and nudged at her friend. You can't sleep either?

Gizmo gave a wolfish smile, watching the female rolling onto her side, and nudged at her stomach with his nose. He supposed that the storm was pretty loud, somehow his ears kept blocking out the sound for him so that he didn't notice it so much.
Sighing he moved to lick at his paw again before replying to her, it seemed like they hadn't spoken for a very long time.
Me ache, no sleep for Gizmo. He stretched slightly, eyes closing as he yawned.

Aeria watched Gizmo with sympathetic eyes. Stretching is good for aches, I think she said as he closed his eyes.
She didn't want Gizmo to hurt, he was her friend and as far as she was concerned none of her friends should ever have to hurt. With a small sigh she closed her eyes as well.

Gizmo shifted, golden eyes sparkling at Aeria's words, she was so wise for one who could be no older than himself.
He moved closer to her, crossing his forepaws and shaking his head to ruffle his fur. So... He began, closing his eyes briefly as he tried to think of what esle to say. You like new home? He blinked and scolded himself mentally, they had only been here a few days and already they had been hit with a scary blinding whiteness.
He doubted anyone was too fond of this place, but he had to admit that he himself had rather enjoyed it. He had been sceptical at first, but it had given him adventure. He had met a new pup, made friends with a two-legs and braved a storm.
It adventure here. He yipped quietly, eyes falling to the entrance of the den, shuddering as he thought of the bitter coldness that awaited them outside.
