Kale glared slightly at John from the corner of his eyes. 'He's a traitor, that's what. He's trying to get rid of Talon.'
Talon went through the trees, with hardly any sound and soon came up to the city and casually walked through it to find the perfect human to feed from.

Kaida didn't like seeing Kale upset. She crawled into his lap and place her head under his neck. She made a slight purring sound she didn't know she could make before.

Kale let her, wrapping his arms around her loosely, accepting her effort at trying to comfort him. He was stiff though, he didn't trust John from the beginning, and now he had more reason not to and he wasn't about to let his guard down any time soon with Katie trapped in the house and John still around.

'Because, he's much stronger than me. He's the oldest vampire I've ever met, older than Talon even, by a long shot.' Kale kept his attention on the topic of the traitors. 'With Talon out, any of us are as good as dead if we piss him off.'

'Oh...' Kaida said, resting her head on him again. She then wondered subconsciously when she would feed.

Talon came back a bit later, he found Kale and Kaida still on the couch and John and Katie talking softly when he came by them. He went behind Kale. "You should go feed, I doubt you've had enough blood yet, plus you drain even more than you gained." He told Kale as he came around to sit on a chair opposite the couch.
Kale glared at him. "Whose fault is that I wonder?" He replied. "My arm still hurts from your little display, you idiot."
Talon smirked. "Is that so? It seems that the pain was worth it though, wouldn't you agree?"
Kale just glared at him, not replying to that question, knowing full well it was to get Kale to thank Talon. He wasn't about to let that happen.

Kaida looked between them, and slipped off his lap. 'You can go...I probably hurt you...' She said to him.

Kale looked at her as if she was insane. "Who ever told you I was hurt by you? I sure didn't, so don't think so otherwise." Then he smiled briefly, then eyed Talon.
Talon just smirked. "Come now Kale, I won't touch her. I'll keep her safe while you are out. I'll treat her as my own to a limit of course."
Kale frowned, he didn't want to leave so soon after her turning.
Talon raised an eyebrow. "Go or I will make it so you have to go." he threatened lightly.
Kale growled but complied, giving Kaida an appologizing look as well as agonized at leaving her, but he knew she wasn't ready to go out yet. "I'll be back soon."
"Not too soon, I hope. You need to get your full strength back if you're going to be feeding her until you go hunting again." Talon informed, amused.
Kale growled again but finally let go of Kaida's hand and headed for the door, pulling on his cloak ( the one in the picture).

Kaida watched as he left and she sighed sadly. then she looked at Talon with large eyes. "Now what?" She asked him. "And feeding me....why?" She asked.
