The child gave the truck a little gas-- she had to use the very tips of her toes-- and started the rumbling beast of a machine forwards. The whole area was very quiet... which made sense, as it was supposed to be locked down. Wait, this was Arkham Asylum, wasn't it? Was it too much to hope for Batman to show up?

When Otto was convinced that the girl knew what she was doing, he let the arm that he'd used to buckle himself in slip out of the window. It moved out a bit, aimed, then shot towards the keypannel next to the door, successfully breaking it and going through it. The arm wriggled a moment, and was followed by a 'clack' that couldn't quite be heard over the roar of the engine. The arm slipped back out, then latched onto the door, forcing it to crack open. The door was reinforced more that Otto had anticipated, and he had to slip another arm out to help brace the other arm. After a moment, the door was fully open.

Hit Girl dutifully pulled the truck through the gate. This was f**king ridiculous-- She was helping Doctor Octopus escape in a van stolen from Arkham Asylum.

There was no trouble during the drive down the road that looped around Arkham. No one stopped the truck, and no one seemed to be out and about. That changed of course when they reached the gate that surrounded the property. The two guards that usually kept duty were there...as well as quite a few friends. All armed. And all watching the approaching vehicle. It was apparent that most of them weren't normally stationed at the gate, and that they had just arrived there.

Hit Girl sighed, put the truck in park, unbuckled, and opened the door. As soon as she hit the ground, there were tears in her eyes. "Please get me away from him," she sobbed, "He's a bad man, and I'm not supposed to drive yet."

The guards took one look down at the girl, then drew their weapons and readied them at the truck. Two of the guards ushered the girl to move behind them while the others moved to surround the front half of the truck.
Inside the vehicle, Octavious scowled. The two lower arms, that were not hidden, hissed around his legs. Tricked....couldn't say he was very surprised though. He had been prepared to deal with a rather loud escape as well.
"Get out of the truck now!" one of the guards bellowed, his gun aimed at Otto's head.

Hit Girl quickly ran behind the men, relief all over her small face, and then calmly and efficiently started putting them out, generally by covering their mouths and pressing on both sides of their neck until unconsciousness resulted. She started from back to front, and did it with such silent efficiency that the men at the front of the line didn't even realize what was going on behind them... Until the last remaining two did. They both caught glimpses of her taking out the third to last guy, and simultaneously turned to point their weapons at her with almost identical shouts of surprise. She was already sliding between them, though, hamstringing both of them with her little knife as she went through. Their bullets sprayed harmlessly into the sky as they crumpled, screaming in pain. Before they could re-aim, she was right on top of them. "Sorry," she said with a little 'oh well, what can you do' sort of shrug, and gave them both rabbit punches to the forehead that sent them straight into unconsciousness. "Hold on a second," she called coolly to the truck, "These two need tourniquets."

Doctor Octopus stepped out of the truck...well, it was more like sliding out...and looked at the girl with the same amount of interest on his face as before. The child was definately one that he should not let his guard down with. Using his arms to lower himself to the front of the truck, he glanced down at the two bleeding men. Two of his arms reached out for one of the uninjured guards and relieved him of his outer jacket. From there it proceeded to tear it into long shreds as easily as if it were tearing tissue paper. "Impressive." he remarked as the arms withdrew, a shred of cloth in each clamp. The other two metal arms soon joined in and set about wrapping the men up at the same time. The arms saved on time, and were sure to be able to wrap them tightly enough that no further harm should come to the two. "How old are you, child?"

"Eleven," she informed him curtly, "... Thanks." Not that she didn't know how to do a tourniquet herself, but she certainly couldn't do it that fast. She reached into one of the downed guards pockets, quickly dialed 911, then slipped it back into the pocket while it was still ringing. "If we're going to go, we should go." She had no idea how to get the stupid gate open, although she could probably figure it out, given a minute or two.

Otto nodded in agreement and gave the gate a look over. This place definitely didn't want anyone in or out that wasn't permitted to be. He could probably climb over it, but then he'd be leaving the rest of the way 'on foot'. Not that he couldn't cover a great deal of distance with his arms, but traveling in a vehicle was less conspicuous.

While the Doctor examined the gate, Hit Girl picked up one of the guard's IDs, walked over to the booth that sat next to the gate, and swiped it through. With a low hum, it started opening, and the child blinked. Really? That easy? ... No wonder the place had such a revolving door. Pursing her lips, she started back to the truck.

The doctor blinked as well. That was overly simple to accomplish. He wasn't going to question this momentary good fortune though. Using his arms again, he slipped back into the truck, buckling himself and concealing his metal arms from view.

Hit Girl climbed back in, got herself situated, and drove the truck forward. "Any direction in particular that I should be heading?" she asked, her voice noncommittal.

Otto paused a moment, then pulled out the small note with the location of the place he was told to go to. "Towards the outer area of Gotham City." he replied.

Hit Girl just nodded and drove in that direction. Granted, she had no idea where Gotham was, much less the outskirts, but it seemed like this place was pretty far out of town, itself, so maybe she could just... sort of... stop short.
