Renatus shrank. He quickly pulled his hand away. He moved a few inches away and his tail darted under him in protection. He looked completely like a dog that had been scolded.

Renatus sat silently, in the same defensive position he moved into. He looked down with his head but looked to Lucinda with his eyes making them seem abnormally large.
