Ciara decided a phoenix would be best, good attack, minimal size, little summon cost. She found the card by touch and began to summon it, preparing for a direct attack as she did.

Aleksi continued to search the man, becoming frustrated. He hardly even noticed the incoming attack. "Come on..." he said with clenched teeth. Upon finishing his search, He transformed the hand grasping the man into a blade, piercing his throat with it.

Ciara's phoenix began attacking the other bandits. She ran closer and kicked out at one, trying to knock him into the others.

"Oh hello." Aleksi said reverting to his normal personality and realizing the events unfolding. He turned his arm to normal. "Their not the ones Ciara. We don't need to kill them all." he said calmly. He knocked one that had approached him over with his foot.

Ciara nodded. Her phoenix disappeared as she put the card back, and she returned to Aleski's side.

The bandits who were hit were recovering. Aleksi turned to Ciara. "That was a waste of time." he said sighing. He turned and exited the saloon. "I'll never find them at this rate." he mumbled, shaking his head.

"Why do you need to find them?" Ciara asked, following Aleski out of the saloon.

Aleksi sighed. "When I was young, I was stolen by a group of bandits. At the time I had no idea where my home was. They would be the only ones to know." He explained.

"No..." Aleksi said stopping and looking down. "I'm not." I just figured that if they were anywhere, they would be in this rat-hole of a town." he explained, turning to look at Ciara. He sighed deeply. "I imagine that if they were here we would have discovered them by now however."

"Good point." Aleksi said putting a hand to his chin in thought. "I wonder if they would go for me again?" he thought aloud. "Or maybe one would recognize me..."

"Or, if they knew your abilities, they'd go for a new prize instead," Ciara said. "Besides, we can't have you not able to fight."

"Point." Aleksi said formulating in his head. A thought came to mind. "What if they were watching earlier and happened to notice your cards? Would you mind dropping a few?" he asked attempting to sound as sincere as possible.

Ciara nodded and pulled out a few cards. They were white with black writing, nothing fancy. "Snake, tiger, sparrow," she said. "Are these good? But...they could be watching now..."
