Twila spoke as loudly as she could so Chance could hear her, "I guess I was kind of asking for it. I can't remember if you were there or not, everything's a little fuzzy right now, but before I was challenging Jake to a fight. He turned it down though saying he wouldn't hurt me physically but in other ways. But that's just background information. We were all waiting here in the safe room when the doors opened & Jake came in. It was then that I decided I wanted to leave... He was being attacked by Erasers & I was going to just escape. He started saying I was a coward & before walking away he said I was stupid. So when he asked Rick where you were I said maybe you wouldn't want to be saved by someone like him... That was when he grabbed me by my throat." Twila paused for a second to catch her breath before continuing, "He challenged me to our fight & I was ready. But instead of using ourselves like I had thought he used his gun...." she trailed off.

From the darkness of the air vent, beady red eyes observe this intruder in its territory. "SCREEEEEE!!!!' It lets loose a horrible ear splitting screech as it charged Scorpio through the dark corridor of the air vents.

Red grew stiff for a moment and then whispered, "Twila." He said it so softly, it would be hard for anyone to hear him, but his reaction was unmistakable.
He had grown up with Twila, and she was a friend. Maybe a little hesitant at times, but really smart. Her twin younger brothers were cat morphs, and drove her crazy. The more Red heard of this Jake guy, the less he was impressed with him.

(How about in the back of the last van? You were told to guard the vans last I remember...)

Laurn quickly dragged out a small cell phone, and dialed a number. "Hey...no. Just set up some rooms near the labs...Yes, we've got a horde today, and possibly a new comer." Laurn smiled, pausing everynow and then listening to the person on the other line. "No. I said no." Laurn said sternly. She sighed heavily, "I call him Stripes." Jake decided to listen for a moment. "WHAT? NO!" Laurn sheirked. "I don't care." Laurn huffed, glaring at nothing as the trees passed by. She huffed again, but said lightly. "Bye to you too, sister." She flipped the silver phone closed. "Stella says hello. Red, you and your men are going to have rooms, but we don't have a lot of them left, so you'll have to bunk with each other. Sorry about that." She said lightly, before adding on. "Jake, you'll get a room too! Of course...it'll be near ours." She mumbled, rolling her eyes. "Stupid Stella." She said and Kenny chuckled.

"Don'tcha think that Ironic?" He grunted and Laurn just glared, shrugging it off.

Suddenly there was a shriek from the back. Laurn and Jake both instantly turned. Kayla and Kobly were wrestling around, and they finally looked up. Laurn sank back into her chair, a smile on her face. Jake sat down slowly, before turning his head out to the window. Suddenly, he saw Kayla climbing off the large mattress, and he picked her up. "What's up?" He asked softly, like a big brother.

"I wanted to play a game!" Kayla said excitedly. "Lets play...the better morph. It's a really fun game; we used to play it all the time at the school."

"Well, how do you play?" Jake asked as she made herself comforable in his lap.

"You tell your morph, then why you are better then everyone else's animal!" She said. "I wanna go first!"

"Okay." Jake said, a small smile twitching at his lips.

"I'm a Tiger and I'm better because when I grow up I'll be able to roar!" She giggled. Laurn laughed, and Kenny chuckled.

"Okay, well I'm a Lizard and I'm better because I'm green." Laurn said, slyly. Kolby bounced up and down on the bed and proclaimed, "I'm a jackle and I'm better because I can howl when I grow up!"

"Oh yeah?" Kenny grunted friendly. "I'm a Grizzly Bear, and I'm better because I'm stronger." He smirked, and to prove his point, he reved the engine slightly. Jake chuckled and thought.

"I'm a tiger, and I'm better because I can roar." Jake said, a smile on his face when Kayla looked happier then ever. Then the young tiger morph turned to Red and thought for a moment.

"Red?" She said, remembering him from the school, "Do you wanna play?"

Kolby butted in, "Oh, PLEASE PLAY RED!" She begged.

(A few things to note. One you auto hit this character, something that would get you banned from 90% of the RP guilds I know of if it happens often. Two you recognize something that you have never seen before, not to mention it hasn't even been introduced to you. Details are very important. Also you need to leave room for others to react, cant post what they are doing also... this includes letting them sometimes finishing the posts.)

The gun shot resounds throughout the small confines of the air duct, echoing off in the distance. The red orbs stopped quickly only a few feet away. As the light floods the area a quick glimpse of black fur is seen before a crude piece of steel is swung towards the light source and its owner.
