Color Me Fubar She yawned again, nodding. "Sleep well, Ethin," she whispered, moving close to him and resting her head on his shoulder, her arm draped over him possessively. Ethin woke to the slightest sliver of the sun's bright light through the curtains. He looked over and found that Kiae was still fast asleep. He kissed her forehead and gently removed her arm from his chest as he slowly rose from the bed. He tiptoed to his clothes and dressed promptly.

Professor Inky Ethin woke to the slightest sliver of the sun's bright light through the curtains. He looked over and found that Kiae was still fast asleep. He kissed her forehead and gently removed her arm from his chest as he slowly rose from the bed. He tiptoed to his clothes and dressed promptly. Kiae sighed, feeling the warmth of Ethin's body leave, and twisted around as she made a face. She stretched, feeling in no rush to leave the warm bed but recalled they were to meet Esole as soon as possible to leave. She slid out from under the covers and shivered slightly - the chill in the air seeped in through cracks around the window - and hurried to dress, deftly using bits of Air to help secure her hair perfectly in place. She smiled, unaware how similar she was to Esole in that respect, at the mirror, pleased that an Aes Sedai was able to look so good so quickly. Kiae turned, seeing Ethin waiting and perfectly dressed as well. "I suppose we should leave as soon as possible," she remarked, wondering if they should take the time to eat or not.

Color Me Fubar She smiled, unaware how similar she was to Esole in that respect, at the mirror, pleased that an Aes Sedai was able to look so good so quickly. Kiae turned, seeing Ethin waiting and perfectly dressed as well. "I suppose we should leave as soon as possible," she remarked, wondering if they should take the time to eat or not. "If you so desire, then so shall it be," Ethin said with a loving smile. He rose and went to her; he wrapped his arms around her and held her close. He looked into her eyes and felt warmth in them. Ethin did not want to join Esole and Melthin so soon but he knew that Kiae was right.

He looked into her eyes and felt warmth in them. Ethin did not want to join Esole and Melthin so soon but he knew that Kiae was right. Kiae smiled at the sudden affection from her Warder, relishing the contact for a moment and leaning into his embrace. "I imagine Esole will be none too pleased if we keep her waiting," she remarked, not commenting on Melthin. As far as she knew, the man would be a thorn in her side until the end of his days.

Color Me Fubar Kiae smiled at the sudden affection from her Warder, relishing the contact for a moment and leaning into his embrace. "I imagine Esole will be none too pleased if we keep her waiting," she remarked, not commenting on Melthin. As far as she knew, the man would be a thorn in her side until the end of his days. Ethin squeezed her gently and then released, acknowledging her desire to be on their way. The Creator only knew how miserable Esole would make the two on their trip to Saldaea if they kept her waiting. "Would you like to grab breakfast first or just be on our way and eat on the road?" he asked, adjusting his cloak and smoothing out a wrinkle in his shirt. Ethin liked to keep a neat appearance when he set out on any form of journey because he knew somewhere down the road, such things were unattainable while traveling.

Professor Inky "Would you like to grab breakfast first or just be on our way and eat on the road?" he asked, adjusting his cloak and smoothing out a wrinkle in his shirt. Ethin liked to keep a neat appearance when he set out on any form of journey because he knew somewhere down the road, such things were unattainable while traveling. Kiae pondered the question for a moment before nodding, unhooking her own cloak and wrapping it around herself, letting it drape around her figure attractively. "I would prefer to eat something before leaving," she decided. "I'm sure Esole hasn't deprived herself of breakfast in her haste to leave, so neither should we," she added privately/

"I'm sure Esole hasn't deprived herself of breakfast in her haste to leave, so neither should we," she added privately/ Ethin smiled approvingly at Kiae's attire before opening the door and heading down the stairs with Kiae. He picked out a table nearest the kitchen and waved over a serving woman. "Excuse me, ma'am. We would like two menus," Ethin asked politely. The woman smiled and nodded, handing them two menus.

Kiae waved it aside, sending a calm smile to the woman for assurance she hadn't offended an Aes Sedai. "You order for me, Ethin," she ordered, closing her eyes. She had placed a tracking weave on Melthin - a discreet addition to her Healing - but something had taken hold of it and was misleading her. She was suddenly unsure whether he was with Esole or halfway across the continent and it was giving her a headache. "What's going on? What are we dealing with?" she thought, half-wishing Reider would reapper. She'd not only give him a piece of her mind but force some answers out of his cryptic self - or at least try.

His hand unconsciously drifted towards his sword. She opened her eyes and smiled, shaking her head slightly. "Nothing you need worry yourself about, Ethin. Just wondering what Reider is, what we're up against," she assured him. It was a half-truth, as she couldn't lie, but the best she could do at the moment. What she had put on Melthin wasn't a bond of any sort, but she feared Ethin wouldn't see it like that. The man was still in her head, however different a method she had used.

Professor Inky Ethin nodded and let his hand fall away from his sword. He felt as if she wasn't giving him the whole truth but he knew that she only had their best interests in mind. "Will we be Traveling to Saldaea?" Ethin asked, looking for something to talk about. Kiae thought for a moment, then shrugged. "I'm not sure. I was going to speak to Esole about that. I would personally rather use normal methods to move, since I have no idea if that person Reider or someone similar is watching our use of power." She sighed, wishing it wasn't so complicated. "But if Esole feels it necessary to arrive there quickly, I won't argue," she admitted. "It is her family, after all, and her suggestion. I feel it should be in her hands."

Ethin nodded in agreement. At the moment the serving woman returned with two steaming bowls and silverware. She gave them each a bowl and left with a low curtsy.
"Ahh, smells amazing," he said with a smile that his growling stomach reflected. Ethin grabbed his spoon and dug right in. Within a few moments his bowl was cleared. He picked up his napkin, wiped his mouth, and looked at Kiae with an innocent smile. He knew that display must not ave been very pleasant to see.

She had been rather amazed at the speed with which he ate the food, but had seen worse with her former Warder - she quickly put it out of her mind. It hadn't been much worse, but still...
Kiae shook her head in amusement, eating her own meal in silence. She hadn't realized how hungry she was until she smelled it and was grateful Ethin had wanted breakfast.

Once Kiae finished, Ethin waved the serving woman over again. "Would you please take these up?" he asked politely, handing her a silver crown for the meal and a tip. Once the woman left, Ethin returned his gaze to Kiae. "Shall we be off now?" he asked.
