Siobhan decided to face the dragon-horse, her first time with real combat. Unfortunately, she had chosen her weapon for sentimental reasons, and hadn't taken into account the fact her sword was four feet long, and she was only a three foot, ten inch tall little girl. Unable to lift her only weapon, she was hit by a swing of the dragon-horse's venomous tail and fell.
((Aw, man! My first go and I'm out for the next 12 hours!))

Just about everyone is rolling fives on this one!
Recap:
Mirao rolled a 10 and got a hit on it.
Mirao rolled a 5. Out 6 hrs.
Giselle LeFLour rolled a 5. Out 12 hrs.
Professor_Adonis rolled a 5. Male, so he wasn't hit...he just missed his mark.
Alutian (myself) rolled a 2. Out 12 hrs...not that I play much.
DaBonster rolled a 5. Out 12 hrs.
Our big hitter, Nick_Jonas_Luvr, has exhausted her energy for the day.
Of those hit earlier in the day, only bucbucLA can make an attack now. Animekitty47 is out for the rest of the day, and Lyra Elizabeth has a little less than half an hour to go before free to attack.

Bell stands up and decides to give the Dragon Horse a try. The Dragon Horse lunges at Bell, but she quickly moves out of the way, swiping at the Dragon Horse with her sword, managing to make a gash in its side.
Dragon Horse has now been hit twice!

The Dragon Horse backed off slightly, then ran straight towards Bell angrily. Bell stood ready, holding her sword as tightly as she could. The Dragon Horse reached Bell a tad more quickly than she expected, and didn't have time to make a move before the Dragon Horse charged in to her, sending her rolling backwards.

[[I was only gone for a few hours, and there's so much catching up to do. 5 minutes until I can fight again.]]
"I'm ok, Kitty. My arm is a little bit sore, but not nearly as bad as it was. I almost feel ok enough to fight again."
Lyra then sees Alysee, Mikki, Alutian, Siobhan, and then Bell get hit by the monsters. She scoots herself over to where they are, staying out of sight of the dragon-horse. "Does anyone need anything? Is anyone seriously injured?" Lyra asks worriedly.

Neavah runs at the Dragon Horse pulling out her sword and aims right for the heart. She quickly jumps up and stabs the sword right at her target, killing it. It drops to the ground and she cleans off her sword.[[Wow. My first time to.]]

Lyra, feeling better after her rest, decides to try to fight again. She carefully picks up her bow and chooses an arrow. Lyra pulls back slowly, making sure her arm is still ok, and aims. Just as Lyra is about to release her arrow, Neavah kills the monster.
[[Um... I'm confused now. I posted this just slightly after Neavah posted and got an instant kill. I was typing at the same time she was, but posted/finished slightly after. Because she posted first, does it mean I'm not hit?]]

Lyra: Since the_cereal_queen's post ended up coming first, she got there first and the horse was dead by the time you arrived.
It's as though you and she charged the beast almost at the same time, but she got there first. If she had not killed the thing, then yes, it would have turned and gotten you.
It's getting late where I am, and I can't stay up any longer. So, see you all in about...twelve hours or so.

[[Ok. I'm not sure how much I will be on Gaia for a while. All of our stuff is packed and we're leaving Wed. We're staying at a neighbor's house for a couple nights, but I'll probably be able to get on Gaia tomorrow. After that, probably only a couple times a week. We'll see.]]
