Cori rolled her eyes, the picture of annoyance and surprise, which of course he'd see through even if he wasn't an empath. "So cruel, knowing my emotions before I do." she said, sighing dramatically.

Vadász chuckled a little, lowering his own to the ground, sipping his wine slowly. "I'm sorry." He murmured softly, eating the last of the sandwiches since she hadn't taken his offer. He brought a knee up, laying one arm across it, the warmth faltering just a bit before he fixed it, lessening it's effect since he didn't want to make her drugged up on it so to speak. "If it's any consolation, it also means I have to be careful that what I'm feeling doesn't leak out which can be a challenge in itself when it's something I don't want and it's a strong emotion." He offered, smiling lightly to her.
(( And now I go sleep. not sure when I'll be on tomorrow. g'night! ))

((night!))
Cori smiled, though she rolled her eyes again, this time not just as part of a face. "Not used to being teased constantly I take it?" she asked, gentler than before. She felt the warmth falter but didn't comment, feeling it lessen and seeing his reason for it. Might as well be a drug. "Wait, something you don't want?" she repeated, not sure how to take that and hoping he couldn't see everything that sprung up at that, underneath the confusion.

Roran's eyes would have blasted Leena away if they had any power. "Leena, I don't need you stopping me now. Especially not now." The daggers he glared, oh how he wished they were deadly at this moment. He followed that with a twist of his head to glare the same daggers at the king. He walked up to him, saying, "Listen you egotistical, arrogant, pig headed, b*****d of a king I've ever met. You've got to live. Knowing Eve as little as I do, I would bet that she left without thinking, thus making her leave before the spell was put up. Therefor, I would also bet you didn't tell her it was put up. Eve'll lose you sooner or later. I'm gonna make it later, or else I'm dieing with you. I'm sure you don't have the slightest worry over losing me, but let me tell you this. You may think you have the info needed about Altarion's army. What you may be thinking, is wrong." He was breathing down the king's throat now, so close that personal space boundries didn't exist anymore.
Kantern transformed once Leena was in and closed the door, trapping them all. He knew what Roran was doing. This would hopefully urge the king more. Surely he didn't want the woman dead. "Roran, we don't have much time," he spoke softly into the silence. The urgency of the woman's voice was clear, and Roran had just wasted more time. Kantern felt it was a waste anyways. He knew the truth behind the promises people made, like the one the king and his daughter had. You may say you'd die for someone or something, but deep down, it went against every rule of human nature you had. The two goals of any being's life, and he knew this from being a werewolf, are to survive and to reproduce. Sure, the king had been successful with the second goal, but the goal of survival always stays with you, until you die, for when you die, you fail that goal. No one reaches that goal. No one.
Roran heard Kantern, but didn't move until he spoke. "Kantern, grab Leena's hand." He didn't need to look, he knew his friend would listen. His eyes were continuing to stare dagger at the king. He raised a hand backwards to Leena, hoping she'd figure out his plan on time, for it was the only way at this point. Plus it was the quickest way to Eve's side at this point. He also prayed she'd have enough magic left. Slowly, or quickly, he didn't know, he put a hand towards the king, taking a step back. "You need to take my hand." He didn't look away. "Not for any of us now, but for all of us, and mainly Eve, later."

Vadász just smirked, looking down to her, "Oh I'm used to it, but even an empath can confuse things sometimes. Usually it's under certain circumstances." He seemed to pause, the smile a little sad as he finished off his wine. "Yes, like anger, or sadness, negative things like that." He elaborated, saying nothing about her current emotions.

The king was about to say something when Anira walked into the room, completely ignoring Roran's presence at this point. "Father, go. There is no need for you to die here as well. Please just go with them." She said calmly, going up to her father and taking his hand with a small smile on her face.
"You mean to die here alone?" He asked, looking to his daughter sadly.
"We both know I would not survive for very long anyways. Three hundred and seventeen years was a miracle enough. But they need your help father, and no matter what you say, Roran will not listen. He believes you are important to helping Valanthiriel gain more support, and he has had a closer dealing with Altarion than we have. There probably is more than we know." She told him in a very soothing voice. "Please father, it is what is best for everyone right now. I'll guard the crystal to the best of my abilities." The princess assured her father.
Giving a great sigh, the king turned and hugged his daughter gently. It broke his heart to leave one of his children to die, but in the end, Anira and Roran were right. "Navaer Anira." He murmured to her before the two broke their embrace.
"Gerich meleth nîn, ada. Calo anor na ven." She replied, squeezing her father's hand lightly before she let go and cast her spell, sending Roran, Leena, Kantern, and her father outside Aduial's borders along with their horses.

Leena didn't shrivel at the glare in his eye, standing tall even though she knew he wished that his glare could strike her down. Even if it hurt her to know that, she knew how stubborn he was, what he was like at times such as this. She felt her one hand twitch a little, glancing to Kantern when she heard him. Insulting the King was going to get them nowhere, and if anything, on Eve's bad side. Even she felt some shame for him to be acting this way. They were running out of time, her eyes darting to the door again. She didn't move even as she felt the werewolf take her hand, already knowing what he was thinking. It took all of her self-control to not take his hand that instant he held it back towards her, keeping her hand stiffly by her side.
The minute Anira walked in, she grimaced, listening to the exchange silently, lowering her eyes. She held out her free hand, whispering something, the words getting lost as a mist curled from around her fingertips to the princess, vanishing the minute it touched her shoulder. She just hoped that would help her, her eyes not leaving her until they where whisked away, raising her head as she let go of Kantern's hand gently, climbing up onto Sebesen without a word to anyone. She seemed her normal calm self, pulling up another cloak for herself, clasping it around her shoulder, the cowl hiding her head once more. She also fashioned a new mask for herself, covering the lower half of her face, glancing back to Aduial. Then she looked to their small group, feeling the shadow drawing closer, Sebesen recognizing this, whinnying to go. She ran a hand along the horses neck, soothing her as she waited for the others to be ready. Whistling shrilly, she saw one of her own appear, leaning close to his ear. "Hogyan van a elkészítések jövő?"
"Vagyunk majdnem kész , mi csak szükség hogy biztosak legyünk -ból egy kevéssel több dolog." He murmured, his eyes darting to the others that were there before resting upon his Queen again.
She nodded once, "Ez minden jó , folytatódik és győződj meg -hoz dupla ellenőriz. -unk haza és emberek kell lenni megvéd. Elbocsát. Vigyázz az úton haza." She watched him go, sighing lightly before looking to the sky, having to calm Sebesen again.

Cori nodded. Stop worrying stupid. He practically said it aloud and you believed it, it's not gonna change... Relax. her mind scolded her, as usual being the voice of logic. "What circumstances?" she asked, hoping he'd actually answer her so she could use it.

Vadász let a relaxing air wrap around her, chuckling as he looked towards where Eve had gone. "When I'm trying to suppress negative emotions is an example, when there's a lot going on and I'm trying to keep my own emotions from leaking all over the place." He replied with a small smile, returning his gaze to her.

He was suddenly in front of her, taking his hands, a very serious expression on his features. "Cori, I never laugh at what someone is feeling." Then he let go of her hands, getting up with a heavy sigh, a sad smile on his lips, standing in the doorway, leaning with one arm against the wall. "If anything I dislike my power. Sometimes it feels like it's more of an invasion than telepathy since someones feelings are very precious to them. It's personal..." He didn't look at her, the sadness gone from the smile, violet eyes looking out to the snow. "It's not like I have a choice in knowing what people are feeling, I can't put up walls like telepaths do." He pointed out, looking over to her with a warm smile, walking back over to her and sitting down, resting his elbows on his knees.

Cori looked down at his correction, though she found herself watching him as he spoke. "Yes, but you can't get everything through just feelings. You can't force them to remember things better left alone or give them false memories to forget what had happened. You can't..." she cut herself off, knowing a rant was already forming. Her gaze dropped to the ground. "Sorry, just don't like most telepaths..." she murmured.

Roran was more than shocked when Anira came in and actually agreed with him. She actually agreed with him. It was mind boggling, but he was happy with it. Catching her eye before they left, he mouthed a thank you to her, hoping she could read it. He was happy she convinced her father, and in another blink of an eye they were outside of Aduial. He watched Leena do what she felt necessary, then walked up next to her, ignoring the blind king. Reaching into his pocket, he took out one of Kantern's potions. One that he knew well. It was a clear vial with a mist pink liquid inside it.
Looking up at her on her horse, he lifted the hand with the potion in it and took one of her hands, gently place the tube there, as well as bringing the hand to his lips and giving it a soft kiss. "Thank you for not standing in my way," he said as he let her hand go. "That there is a potion in which you can control what you, or anyone else, feels for a bit of time. I know you could use your magic to do so, but this way you don't waste it. Just let a drop of your blood into the concoction, and then have whomever you want to feel the effects drink it. Then you can control what they feel." He looked away, towards Aduial. His voice softened as he spoke without looking to her now. "Again, thank you."
Roran was walking towards him, and Kantern knew what he would say. Transforming into the wolf again, he nodded at Roran before the hunter had a chance to say anything. Turning towards the king, he pranced over and put his nose in the elf's palm, licking it soon after. He heard Roran tell the king to follow the dog, for he would never betray him. He then heard Roran apologize for what he said, which caught Kantern off guard, but he didn't show it.
"Milord," Roran was in front of the king now, "I'm sorry for my actions of late, milord. I know I let my anger flare up quickly, and I could pin an excuse on many different things, but I'm not going to do that. It's my fault, and I'm sorry." He looked away from the king in shame, even though he knew the king couldn't see. Raising his head again, he took a deep breath, letting it out slowly. "Well, right now we seem two horses short, since my horse is about to die right by your castle." He turned to Leena. "If you would like to head up ahead and talk with someone in the elven army, grab a horse or two, and come back, that's fine. I'll stay with the king. Or we can go on foot, even though that could take a week or two, depending on the pace Eve sets for herself, or rather the pace Selena sets." He looked at the ground again. Things seemed to be going well at this point, but he didn't know how Talagand was faring at this point. His eyes fell on Leena then, and how she covered herself again. That made him smile softly. He felt things would end okay. He knew they would. They had to.

He observed her, sending out a little of that warmth for her to help soothe her. "I noticed." He smiled, resting a hand on her shoulder. "It's alright." He murmured, sighing heavily as he shook his head. "However, empaths can do similar things. We can make people feel things they never wanted to feel again, we can make them feel false things and use the results of such actions to our advantage... There are other things, but I already dislike that I have that potential as it is." He lowered his eyes with a heavy sigh, seeming to watch his hands for a moment. "Ah well, such is the problem with such powers." He chuckled lightly, trying to lighten the mood even if he could by will.
Leena heard him walk up, turning her eyes away from where she could see smoke rising from the trees being burned, blinking a little when she felt him place something in her hand. Feeling the shape of it, she knew it to be a potion, glad that she had the mask up otherwise he would have seen the faint blush that rose to her cheeks. "You're welcome. I know better than to argue with you at such a time." Especially with a look like that... She nodded to him, bringing her hand up to look at the liquid inside, tilting her head just a little. Then she placed it into a hard leather pouch at her waist so it wouldn't be damaged during their trip, returning her gaze to him. "Thank you Roran." She said quietly, her eyes seeming to smile since he couldn't see that she did beneath the mask.
She glanced around, noticing the lack of Gyors presence, turning her gaze to Roran as he apologized to the king, her expression softening further. She then straightened a little, holding out a hand, pausing since she saw Roran turn to her once more. She laughed softly, a white glow surrounding her hand. "Just give me a couple of moments." She then turned her attention to her hand, whispering, "Jön számomra , Gyors , Hisz." Then her other hand had to join as she was just making two horses appear. There was a blinding flash of light and two whinny's of distaste. She slid off of Sebesen, walking over to the two of them, reaching out a hand to both. "Bocsáss meg mindkettő -ból ön , Tudom csinálsz nem úgy egyáltalán." She laughed softly, stroking both of their muzzles, watching them calm. "There, problem solved." She turned back to Roran, chuckling as Gyors trotted over to him, walking back over to her black mare, climbing up easily.

"But that's only feeling it, not believing it." Cori murmured, shaking her head as though to push the thoughts away. "Anyway..." she said, trailing off and searching for just about anything else to bring up. She didn't want to remember that, not when she didn't know what had happened. "And for the record, if you do want to know something I'll tell you, just don't expect it immediately." she added after a second, somewhat suddenly.
