Jubei looked over at Sasuke with an apologetic expression on his face. He knew that Sasuke hated to be interrupted, especially by someone of a lower rank. After hearing Akira's explanation, Jubei looked back, seeing that Sasuke was not going to waste his time in scolding Akira.
"That's quite the story."
He saw the disgust in Akira's eyes. He did his very best to ignore it.
"So, the Akatsuki was behind all of this. Interesting. Containing Mai shouldn't be a problem with Sasuke here. He knows her limitations and a genjutsu is only an illusion."
He paused for a moment and looked around.
"Where is Rikou, anyway? He's not hurt too bad, is he?"

"Rikou was hit multiple times by Mai's fire techniques, and a chidori. I could tell by his burns and wounds." Sasuke said, before Akira could but in this time. Tolerance is something he learned, especially after Ibaraki and Mai grew up.
"Sakura is on her w--" Sasuke was, once again, cut off.
"Alright. We're here." Sakura announced, as she bounded into the room, with multiple medic ninja behind her. She saw Ibaraki sitting on Mai, and Emi holding her with the shadow possesion technique. She nodded to Sasuke, giving him an apologetic look, just as Jubei had.
Then, she was moving on.
"Where is Rikou? I hear his injuries are serious, and could end up fatal."

Jubei thought for a moment after Sakura had arrived. What Sasuke had described could prove to be fatal to even someone of Rikou's endurance. He looked over towards Sakura.
"Your guess is as good as mine. But, with the injuries that Mr. Uchiha had described, he couldn't have gone far. We might be able to track him and we have to make it quick. There are still other shinobi out there looking for scrolls and a wounded ninja is the biggest target."
Jubei stood there, hoping his little speech would incite the others to join him in his hunt.

"Right." Sakura said, before turning to the other medics.
"Give everyone else who needs it, help."
The answered with a 'Hai!', before running off to help injured shinobi from Mai's grand fireball techniques.
Sakura turned back to Jubei, before running past him and hurrying down one of the hallways. If the wounds were severe, Rikou could get infected, or worse.
Sakura didn't want to think about that. She kept looking in every room for him.

((Grr. I go to driver's ed, and Rikou goes crazy. Wonderful. x.x))
Emi watched Rikou from across the room. Every instinct screamed out for her to go talk to him, but she couldn't. She was stuck keeping Mai in place. She didn't know whether or not this faint was real, but she wasn't willing to take the chance.
Why do you need to go to him? He's a guy, remember? He can take care of himself.
He's also my teammate. My friend. I should be there to help him, not here making sure Mai doesn't escape.
Great. This makes a wonderful change. Emi Nara, cold hearted as can be, finally goes soft. Full story at ten!
Shut up.
Finishing the mental conversation with herself, Emi looked around again, and noticed that Rikou was gone. She frowned, and wondered if she should point it out to someone.
"Where is Rikou?"
Emi tuned into the rest of the conversation with Jubei, Sasuke and Sakura, and spoke up. "Uchiha-sama. If you've got Mai effectively contained here, I'd like to look for Rikou, as well."
Even if I do have to work with Jubei.

"Let the medics heal your wounds first. You won't be of any help if you collasp." Sasuke ordered, just as some medic ninja came over to help Emi.
((I know how you feel. I go to the beach, and an entire roleplay I'm in starts, and shoots up to 11 pages!))

Hiro looked off to the distance where the akatsuki member jumped and disappeared. He could only think about capturing and defeating this Akatsuki member. He had good intentions that was taught to him by his uncle Garaa that protecting the village comes first. But he was failing to realize he was losing a dear friend. With his mind only on the mission he went back into the room where it all began, but the ceiling was gone this time thanks to those exploding tags earlier. In fact, the whole second half of the tower was almost gone. He went back into the room to search around for something that might help him in the battle to come. During his look something caught the corner of his eye. He went towards the edge of the room where most of the wall was torn down due to the explosion so he could see out side. He saw a red trail that was leading from the main room in the tower where everyone was at towards the woods. He began to squint following the trail, until he noticed someone. It was Rikou. Rikou?! Than the red stuff must be...oh no! he panicked and jumped after him. "Hey Rikou! Wait up! Where are you going?!", he yelled as he sprinted towards him. Rikou slowly turned around, that gave Hiro a little dark feeling. Rikou looked a little upset, and he was grinding his teeth very forcefully. Hiro a little worried, "hey your injury looks really bad. You should be with a medical ninja?" Hiro was never a people's person. Though he was treated kindly and with respect by others, especially by Rikou, he was not very good at returning it. So it never crossed his mind that he should have given him some aid earlier. And even now he could only tell him that he needs aid instead of doing something about it.
(haha yeah I have full time job so I'm a little slow with the posts. And Nooo Rikou don't go to the dark side becuz of my inactivity!)

Jubei checked the ground for blood or some traces of Rikou and eventually caught up with Sakura.
"Mrs. Uchiha! How much time do you suppose we have until Rikou's condition becomes worse?"
He continued to search while waiting for her to answer.

Sakura had long since gotten used to being called that, but she still got butterflies every time.
But her face remained serious. There was someone injured, and she needed to find them. Quickly.
Hearing Jubei's question, she turned to him.
"Half an hour, at the most. It depends if his wounds are as bad as I hear. If they are, then 30 minutes. If not, and are worse..." She shook her head, meaning alot less time. Single digits even.
Sakura's ears tuned into Hiro Nara's voice, and signaled for Jubei to follow her in the direction of the voice.

Emi released the technique (again) and waited impatiently for the medics to give her the all clear. As soon as they did, she got up, and headed out the door. However, Hiro, Sakura and Jubei were all already a ways ahead.
"I guess its time for me to use one of my new techniques. Shadow replica technique!"
Several dark Emi-shapes peeled off of the nearby shadows, and stood waiting for commands.
"We're looking for Rikou. Split into pairs, and branch out to find him. If you find him, have one of you come back to me, and tell me where he is. The other, keep tracking him. Go!"
The shadows split into pairs as directed, and headed out into the forest in different directions. Emi sat on a tree, and waited calmly.
Where is he?

Jubei was rather worried about Rikou. Sakura did not seem too confident about his chances of survival. He followed after her quickly when Hiro's voice was heard. This whole event was becoming even more stressful by the minute. The last thing he needed was a friend being killed because of the Akatsuki.

Hana gave the little girl she'd been holding to the medics, and looked around for her own teammates. She didn't think the Chuunin exams to them mattered anymore, now that the Akatsuki agent had been revealed, but it was still good to know where her team was.
I swear they were right behind me...

Two tall, shadowy forms stood in a tree above Hiro and Rikou, looking down at the two of them.
"Target sighted. I'll stay here. Go and get Emi."
The other shadow nodded, and took off back to the starting place.

Emi heard a noise, and glanced up to see a shadow returning to the tree.
"You found him?"
The shadow nodded.
"Good. Take me to him."

I'm not entirely sure what she did would work, anyway. It's supposed to work with the shadow clone technique, and hers isn't quite as intricate...

Stirring awake, Mai opened her eyes to see Emi's jutsu released.
Taking her chance with her recovered chakra, Mai struggled a bit, before throwing Ibaraki off of her, and backflipping away from her father, only to have him appear behind her.
She smiled a bit, and kept jumping away from him.
She decided it would be best to find Rikou. Finishing him off would be easy, in his weakened state from their last battle.
Jumping off to the hall, Mai started running down the hallway, with her father close behind her. She had a large head start, but that didn't stop him from closing in.
Mai saw her mother and Jubei close in the distance of the hallway, and smirked slightly to herself.
As she neared them, the kinoichi turned around, facing backwards.
"So very sorry for this, but, Sasuke is chasing me once more." She said, performing some hand seals and blowing out fire from her mouth, in their direction, closing off the hallway.
By daybreak I'll be gone,
