"If you say so, just as long as it is only for defense. I don't know how well I'll do otherwise." Ringo muttered, gulping as she took out her small zanpaktou from its sheath. Placing her right foot forward, she went into a stance, similar to those that kunoichi use to attack. "Here I come, mister. Please, prepare yourself!"
Rushing out immediately, Ringo used her nimble body to her advantage. She jumped up and lunged at Toshiro, aiming to put a wound across his chest.

"I've got a better idea..." He said as he held his arms out. "Biyou." Ice gauntlets suddenly consumed both his arms."Even though it IS powerful and my second state of shikai, I will only use it to defend myself." he said while looking at his arms."But I can't just accept a beating, so I will attack now and then, only using my legs."He awaited some sort of approval/response from Ringo.((sorry, computer's slow so you might have to edit that last post a tiny bit sweatdrop ))

Toushiro brings his arm up at the side where ringo's attack is to start cutting."Not bad, but are you off balance?"

Ringo felt her sword smash into Toshiro's gauntlet. Hearing Toshiro's remark, Ringo swayed her head from side to side. "No, I wasn't. I just went into a proper angle..." Ringo leaned slightly to the side, allowing her body to fall to the left. It seemed as if she had lost her balance, but in truth, she had already calculated the right angle for her to be able to do a counter move as she was now directly in front of him with her back turned against him.
Grasping the arm which blocked her before, she shoved it away using her left hand then sent a stab at Toshiro's stomach with her right, the hand which held her small kodachi.

"Oh well.." he said as he brought his knee up, parrying the sword up to his hands, then clasping it on either side with his palms as the thrust made him lean backwards. he took a second to look at the cut, it was only minor."I should tell you now, my squad specializes in hand-to-hand." Toushiro then attempted to send his weight through his arms and push her back a little through her sword.((I'm off for tonight))

Watching the sparring commence, Michiko noted that Ringo seemed to prefer a quicker style or lighter but rapid attacks. Very close to a shinobi fighting style of the special ops in seireitei. Have a match up with a hand-to-hand hakuda style fighter as Toushiro this could be interesting.

-= Slowly, almost subconciously he had begun to pace towards the shinigami known as Michiko. Revli's eyes still hidden from view. He spoke, the words barely escaping his lips, but yet loud enough for the shinigami beside him to hear. His voice was rather timid, soft and shy.=-
"H-Hello there"
-=It was apparent that he was a new recruit. Fresh in the academy. Hardly yet taught any abilities or kido. Barely any real training yet from or with anyone. =-
"I-I'm kinda new here... and lost..."

So that's why he's good, even without his weapons! Ringo thought to herself until she felt the weight of her kodachi suddenly shift against her favor. She knew that if she held on to her zanpaktou, she would most likely be sent away with it, so instead, she let go of her kodachi, allowing it to go the distance until it dug itself on the ground.
She crouched down and put all her weight on her feet. Letting all of the built-up force go, she jumped up with all her might until she was over Toshiro and was now behind him. She then turned her entire body around for a powerful side kick, putting all her weight into that strike to Toshiro's back.

Turning at the stammering and quiet voice nearby, Michiko came to face another new shinigami. She immediately looked at the kitsune ears, only to look at his face. He started to say he was new and lost. She'd been there before.
"Hi, I'm Michiko, 3rd Squad fukutaichou. You say your lost? Are you looking for someone to train with? That's what this place is for," She said, smilely friendlily.

-=His personality altered partially out of instinct and purpose. His cheeks turned crimson with shyness. He tilted his head up, his hair falling back to the side allowing her to see his face fully. He raised both his hands togather, pressing his index fingers togather as he used them to poke one another. =-
"Erm, H-hi, Rev- Revlis RoseHeart, 8th squad and new recruit."
-=Pulling forth a shred of confidence once more, he began to form words in his mouth. =-
"S-Someone to train with?... You mean using a Zapakutou?!... Oh no no! Wait! I'm sorry, see what I mean is!-"
-= He began bitting at his tongue, timidly, almost panicking. =-
"I didn't really expect to train with anyone, but that doesnt mean I'd like to turn anyone down, n-no matter who they might be!. I'd just like to get to know some people and finally make my first friends..."
-=His lips formed a frown as his ears drooped out of embarassment.=-

Xeion let out a whistle, impressed at how good the new recruit was and how she was faring against someone who was clearly leagues-in stronger than herself. She had eyes full of deep, pure determination which quite interested Xeion. Jumping down from the tree he was sitting on, he approached Mi-chan and another shinigami. "Looks like you've got yourself quite a fighter, Mi-chan." He smiled then returned to watching the girl and her efforts. "She's really good." He said in his mind then crossed his arms.

Sensing someone new enter into the training grounds, Ringo stopped her kick just as it was about to hit Toshiro on the back. Turning her attention to the newcomer, she raised an eyebrow. Why is he acting so casual with teacher? Just who was he anyway? Ringo asked herself, going over to her zanpaktou and picked it up after which she walked to where the three people were standing.
"Hello, pleased to meet your acquaintance," she greeted then bowed, "my name is Amai Ringo. It's nice to meet you, sir!"
