My [somewhat] steampunk outfit ~:  I was also wearing leather boots and a necklace with a gear charm, but they didn't show up in the picture ^^

Me and my friendSteampunkeryFleeing from invisible flying machineThese were taken at a steampunk club that is held every couple of months around where I live. What I'm wearing it: Tripp NYC pinstripe halterneck corset. Modified skirt with stripy stockings. Goggles that came from a helmet my friend bought, CHOPSTICKS, belt with dads pocket watch attached and a bunch of old keys from my grandmas farm. Demonia platform lace up boots. REAL fox Shawl. (Yes i know some people will have a problem with it, but it's absolutly beautiful and so soft.)

I don't own a costume, much to my great sadness.
However, I design clothes, so I can pull a few strings in order to get my hands on one.

Had to share this... a friend of mine is an amazing leatherworker, and she makes the most amazing and creative things. She'd gotten a box of broken pocketwatches and decided to make a bunch of these. I told her how awesome they are, and she gave me this one for my costumes: The Outside  The Inside  The amazing things she can do with a fake eye, busted watch, and a scrap of leather. XD

Though my costume if greatly lacking(no place to get stuff where I live),
I do have a wonderful pair of black, victorian boots
(they look wonderful with fishnet tights!),
a tiered brown skirt, and some nice shirts.
I would love to find a nice corset, and I'm still in great need of goggles.
A top hat wouldn't hurt either.
I envy all of your wonderful outfits!

I have a long way to go to get just one real life Steampunk outfit. But I did make a neat pendant in a jewelry class I took.
Also I play the harp... that harp.
