Leon looked at Innocence quickly but looked away "yea there were some..things that attacked us thats all"

Cain laughs a bit, at how distracted she was getting by the dragon, just like he had been. "Come on then, we'll get up in the drivers seat." he turns to leon, "You get the others into the back, alright?" he asks, resecuring the horses straps before hopping up into the drivers seat of the carriage and offering Tavii his hand.

Looked to Cain and took his hand. Once seated she watched Leon help the others into the carriage and smiled to herself. ~He's such a good person. I'm glad he decided to be our leader.~ " Okay, then. I suppose we're ready to go?", she asked everyone.

Tavii immediately noticed Cain's distress. For a while, she says nothing to him, only riding in silence. But her good-intentions got the best of her, so she turned to him. She figured that if he didn't tell her what was wrong at first, he probably didn't want everyone else to know. ~Maybe he doesn't want to tell me either...~ She thought about that for a moment, then shook her head. If she was going to be a good friend, she needed to look at him. ~Okay. Only look at him...~ " Oh!", she squeaked, slapping her hands to her face to wake herself up. She could feel the blush. ~What's that about?~ Finally, she asked him, " Uh um...Is..something wrong?", she whispered.

Tavii felt herself blush so badly that she turned her head away. Her heart began beating faster and faster with every second, but she couldn't figure out why. " O-Oh--?", she muttered. After she calmed herself down, she thought about things seriously. ~What's going on with me? Why am I acting so...so silly?! Ahhhh~! Cain probably thinks I'm weird...But..It's okay for friends to think other friends are weird, so why am I...~ Before she could stop herself, she gasped. ~ Oh my gosh! Why didn't I think of that before? I mean, I've only felt this way once before, but...It's a little different, though...A lot stronger...But--could it be?~ She glanced at Cain. ~Could it be that I...that I like him?~ Once that thought crossed her mind, she couldn't look at him. She held her face and looked over to the ground. ~ Ah--Crap! This is serious! Oh, what do I do?!? Do I act natural? What is natural, anyway? Natural..Nature? Hmm..Like a tree, then?~ " Does that mean..sway in the wind...?", she uttered so quietly you'd have to be paying quite a bit of attention to notice...

Tavii heard his question--and his laugh. ~Oh Gods--what now? Is that a good thing? Dear! There is nothing good to stressing myself out. Okay--Natural like a tree in the wind...Or something to that effect...Alrighty--here goes!~ " Yes...", she quietly answered. ~Darn--That was horrible! You sound like a mouse~ Tavii made sure not to look at him.

(Dan, you can't hear a thing. at graduation, i called to you from the band and you didn't hear me! i yelled! people stared at me like i was a freak!...ok so people didn't stare, but still you can't hear a thing.)
Koontz eyes flickered open. he was in a room somewhere his lips stil dry. slowly, he sat up. is this a dream? am i in the afterlife? next to him was a cup of water. he looked around. he didn't want to take anything that was not his but it was water and he needed, besides, no one was here at the moment. taking one last glance around, he picked up the water and drank it down. he set the cup back on the table and layed down. that was when he realized how heavy his body was. he was also in pain for some reason. Koontz closed his eyes and soon fell asleep again.
