Candice huffed, folding her arms and blowing her bangs in the air with her breathe. "Well, maybe, Well I don't know, I'm not going to be the leader, maybe Aki." She said pointing at her. "She has already shown an act of leader ship and responsibility by helping me." She smiled. "Besides, age and looks aren't everything, you could be thirty and still be immature."

"No. Ain't gonna happen." Aki said, shaking her head and not bothing making up an excuse. She didn't see a point. If they really wanted to, she'd let them make her leader, but it was their own fault when they spiraled into destruction because of her lack of attendance and whatnot. "Besides, do we even need one?" she asked.

"I aint been any kinda leader before. When I was younger my cousins dragged me about and at the Darwin I just partnered up with my friend Vicarious. As for the same grade I'm not so sure. I'm seventeen. Look, maybe we ought to take a break and get something to eat. Lets try and see if any of the other teams want to talk. I already met that birdman Sergey and I talked to this blind dude at the helicopter port before I arrived." Huilliame said, not taking a break due to his ADD. When he was doen he simply wandered off to get another massive tray of food for his high metabolism. More fried chicken, catfish fingers and a large bowl of lemon sorbet.

Hearing no objections from anyone else, and having no better ideas, Mark nodded. "It sounds like a great name to me," he said, looking first a Marie, then looking straight forward again," We all seem to agree on it, so I guess that means that we're The Sensors now," He finished up that sentence with a smile. Mark yawned, taking in the... foody smells of the cafeteria. How long was it since he slept well? A couple of days, it seemed. He yawned again, but shook his head and continued on, looking around at everyone and asking his team," So, what might be the next order of business"?

“Well, actually, that’s it. Tomorrow is class scheduling and presenting our team names.” Marie had finished eating and was playing with a lock of her dark wavy hair. “We are all settled and ready to go then!”

“I had best be getting to bed. The trip from Spain was extraordinarily long and I still haven’t met my roommate, so I should probably get to know her a bit before I pass out,” Marie joked and she arose from her seat, taking her tray with her. “I glad to have gotten teammates like you three. I think we will make a great group. Tenéis una noche buena. [Trans: You all have a good evening.]”

Marie made her way across the cafeteria to throw away her garbage and then turn focus to the doors to the outside. She paused in front of them, looking up to the stairs to the auditorium and music rooms with a hopeful smile before exiting and walking across the great lawn. She was briskly on her way to her dorm when the thought of the Logan, the boy that passed out earlier, stuck her mind. So, instead, she detoured to the medical facility to visit him and see if perhaps he had awaked.

Marie entered the doors of the medical facility and approached one of the nurses from earlier. The nurse recognized Marie and gave her permission to visit Logan until she had to change shifts from the evening with another nurse. Marie poured a glass of water from a machine and approached the room Logan was in. The door was open, relieving the stereotypical white hue of a hospital-like establishment. She took a seat in a chair near his bed and held the cup of water in her hands while relaxing in the quiet of the room a moment. He was not awake yet, but he would come to before she had to leave. Marie sat quietly, reviewing her day, and for the millionth time, playing with her dark hair.

Aya felt movement around her along with blurred voices. Her muscles eased in defeat as she realized what had happened.
"Stupid," she mumbled. She had been so afraid to reveal her detesting 'gift' that she had, in turn, caused her own sickness.
Idiot...
She felt a cool breeze of air, confusing her for a moment. Strange voices were heard again as she was slowly settled onto something solid, yet soft. Her head spun as she tried to figure out what it was, heaving another good amount of blood over the edge of the thing. The splattering sound made her groan softly, though it helped her open her eyes. The bright light made her squint and the fast movements of white scrubs around her gave her a headache.
"Aya Takashi." a voice commanded to another.
Said girl tried a nod, though she just ended up blinking. A white and blue form bent down at her face. Her vision cleared in bits and pieces before revealing a face with a blue mask. He glanced down at what Aya guessed as a folder of some sort. He looked down for a brief second with an expression she couldn't recognize at the moment.
"Lab rat?" he whispered softly to another person. A shaking movement came from the other person's head. The blue masked face sighed and bent back down.
"Apparently, you took in the decayed matter of something else right?"
Aya emitted a small groan. He sighed again.
"And now your nody is trying to fight it out of you. I don't think that was very smart of you Miss Takashi." She felt a sharp pain in her arm. She tried moving away only to fall back into unconsiousness.
"We'll take some blood out of her, as that is obviously what her body is trying to do, then let her rest." the voice said.
"Will we need to track this one down?" a higher pitched voice asked.
"Yes. Her mother apparently sent her there so call her. Then get whatever information we don't already have from them."
Aya concentrated on the words, though not one was making sense to her. Hearing the shuffling of papers dulling down to silence she let her concentration go, breathing in quietly as she wandered around in a blank dream.

(( Thought I'd let everyone know I'll be gone for a week but even when I get back I might not be able to get on much. My friend is having trouble at home so she will be staying at my house for we don't know how long. ))

"It looks like in a way we all agree, but it is getting late perhaps we should get some sleep classes tommarow you know." Alwyn yawned as she stood and went awy to her dorm waving s she went. She found it easily enough and without even looking around plopped into bed exausted ignoring her luggage for another time.

Lite had been in the tree for nearly ten minutes, and with no signs of sobering up somehow managed a firmer grasp on reality. Woah, this here's no dragon...but a tree! Wait a minute, why the Hell am I in a tree? I hate heights! He conclusively decided that he was in a sour situation and sporadically glued himself to the trunk of the tree. "Bear! Bear! We're not on the ground, get me down dammit!" Though his plea for help did him no harm, Lite looked around and saw a giant floating cup-cake. In his attempt to grab it as a means of spoils for defeating the dragon, Lite fell from the tree quite abruptly. Losing all sense of where he was, despite how little grasp he had in the first place, he turned to Bear for directions. After a quiet conversation with the gecko, Lite, still dazed in a buzz, wandered around with his giant cup-cake which was in actuality nothing at all. A few moments later, he found himself with an urge to lay upon the ground. Staring up at the sky, watching the clouds battle it out which would cover the sun, the song "Sons of our Fathers" by Orange Rush* started playing within his head. Without knowing it, Lite had lay down in the path from the cafeteria to the dorms, forcing all of the students to walk around or over him, complaining like the busy-bodies they were.
-- ((I bring you Lite's story from Bear's perspective))
A few friends of Lite's from his last semester tried prying him from the ground as they recognized his blank stare. Try as they may, Bear was fending them off with his ((um... yeah, this was thrown in for humor's sake)) so-called defensive and territorial maneuvers. This included standing and looking at the boys, licking his eyeballs, and peeing on Lite's shirt. Bear did his best to get Lite to move, and getting rather pissed off at Lite, Bear decided he would just wait it out. He had been trapped in that room with Lite as he had filled it with smoke and even his gecko judgment was altered slightly. His attempts were futile, so he decided climb into Lite's pocket and remain until something actually worked.

((*Orange Rush is a fictional 60's band that I made a short story about, so don't try to look up the song. It doesn't actually exist.))

Mark nodded and waved as Marie left, stating," Yeah, seeya. Have a good one!" He then promptly turned back to the group and said,"Well, it was nice meeting the both of you, and I hope you have a good day as well. I essentially just got here, though, and I need to go get situated." With a smile, he said his goodbyes and strode out of the cafeteria.

As Mark walked the path back to the dorms, he glanced down to find a strange boy who was just... laying there. Mark stopped when he got to him, then looked at him for a short while. He then bent over backwards to look at whatever Lite was looking at, then looked back down at him. " Hello there... what, uh... what're you doing?" Mark inquired as he looked back up to find it, whatever it was.

Candice sighed. "So it's settled than, Matt's the new leader." She smiled picking her things up. "I am so tired, I am going to take a nap." She needed an excuse in reality though her medicine's effects were going to start waring off soon. "If you need me just knock on my dorm door, okay! Bye Bye!"
Candice smiled at everyone as she left, her hands tightened on her books as she skipped off laughing.

Lite tilted his head in the direction of a voice he heard, assuming it was addressing him. It had been quite some time someone actually spoke to him, than at him ever since he first lay in the path. "Woah, you're so much taller than I am," looking puzzled at the man, then he addressed his gecko. "Bear, come look at this guy, he's like, as tall as a building." The small gecko crawled out of Lite's pocket and onto his face looking from one to the other, he clamped down upon Lite's nose resulting in his standing up. "Oh, I was laying down. Huh. Well, that's that. My name is Lite, but everyone calls me Smokey." Extending an arm for a greeting, Lite remembered his giant cupcake. "Woah, I totally forgot, I have this here cupcake, would you like some? It's totally delicious." He pointed at nothing but empty nothingness, then leaned in, re-extending his arm, "I totally forgot what I was going to say. Who are you again?" His forgetfulness got the better of him, just like it did every other second of the day.

Aki watched her walk off, and glanced to Matt. "And then there were two..." she murmured, a poem from a book she'd actually read for school coming to mind. Ten little indian boys went out to dine, one choked his little self and then there were nine... she thought, not sure why she'd always loved the poem. Could be the fact that everyone dies in a nursery rhyme... she mused, shrugging. "We still need a name though, don't we." she said, looking to Matt.

((Sorry guys, not gonna be on this much. Have to unplug my computer cause we're painting...))

(( Still out of town, but I should be back home tomorrow. biggrin ))

Logan felt his head swirling as he slowly came to consciousness. He'd been out for a few hours, he'd gathered, and probably would be falling back into the black abyss within a few minutes. However, he had to come to terms with the recently collected information before he could do that. Scrunching his eyes shut further then they were, he gritted his teeth, recalling everything he now knew about Tess Reynalds. 'He had a really sad life...' came to mind as he focused through a bad past that hadn't even had a good beginning.

It was a few minutes until Logan sensed that there was someone else in the room with him. He seemed to relax fully on the bed again, also realizing that they'd kept his mask on. Thank goodness. However, that forced him to open his eyes to see who was there. Gray-blue orbs peeked open, wincing at the light for a moment before they adjusted and stared at the steryl white ceiling of the Medical Facility. He looked at it for a few moments, before his eyes turned and he was staring at Marie.

Blinking, lips were licked as Logan tried thinking of some sort of sentence to form. His head wasn't working quite right just yet, though, so it took him a few moments before he murmured out a thick, "Hullo...?" He made a bit of a face, thinking his accent might've made him hard to understand. He couldn't quite get past the memories lingering in his head, both of Aaron, and of Tess, to manage a better train of thought. It was getting easier, though, and probably after some more rest and something to help the headache he knew he was going to have soon, he would handle it a lot better.

Realizing making faces, mumbling one, small, questioning word, and generally not being interesting was probably strange for the girl sitting next to him. So he decided to try again. "Em... How long... have I been out....?" it was nice to be able to kill two birds with one stone: Information, and Conversation.

Done eating Huilliame shifted to a black and white checkered pattern while he walked to the offices. He needed to organise his elective choices. He had decided power mechanics would be a good choice. He felt a tingling under his skin suddenly, like he was brimming with new powers. A new phase of mutation was coming on very suddenly. He looked down to see his clothes had gone the same pattern as his skin and he could feel a new appendage. He had also grown a tail that curled and lashed about in his trousers. He ran full tilt back to his dorm, shifting to blue, only to find his face had become feline. He had shifted to a weird new form. He could think of only one thing to do.
"Hello, is this the med bay? Listen, I need to see a doctor real bad. My name? Huilliame De Corbeau."
