Triton followed, a bit curious as to what Daeron was getting, though he only knew a bit about what was needed. Only that was from watching Elnara, after all Elnara had ridden a horse when they had traveled to the Southland.

"I'm sure she will," Triton replied, "She's good a guarding, when told, it's now just taking what she knows a step further with more training."

"I doubt it," Sir Leith replied, leading the horse back towards the stables. "I am quite certain that you have seen her annoyed with him, but never angry - Lady Shael rarely loses her temper, and rightly so. She frightened him, and, I admit, myself as well. Never have I seen anyone so angry ... and between thyself and I, I have been working with the Aldrich family for my entire life, since Queen Alyse was still young, and that is a family with a more violent temper than most."

Daeron pulled a folded piece of parchment out of the trunk and closed it again.

"I'm sure Amdir will have no troubles with her," he smiled, holding the parchment out to Triton. "She's a good soul, and I know that he is kind and fair with all of the animals he trains."

Triton smiled at that, "Indeed..."

He's ears twitched a bit as he took the parchment offered to him. It was curious, a letter?

"What is this?" he asked softly as he unfolded it.

Lin actually had a hard time imagining that, she had never seen anyone from that family with a violent temper. Not even Ruel, and he was the grump out of the whole family as far as she knew. Then again she had a hard time believing that Shael could get angry enough to frighten anyone.

"That doesn't sound like Shael," she finally admitted.

Sir Leith nodded and led the horse right through the stable, closing the door to the paddock as they entered and closing the stable door as they left.

"I have not known Lady Shael for very long," he told Lin matter of factly, "but I have to say that it does not seem like her to me, either. She is usually quite softspoken and kind. But if it means anything more to you, Elberon has, since that time, been afraid to utter a single word in her presence."

Daeron grinned. "Just something Adonai left here before he left on his trip," he replied. "Sir Leith gets a little twitchy when someone uses the horses when he's not around, so it's safer to learn the anatomy from this."

It was a drawing of a horse - done by Halmir, and both detailed and accurate - with each and every body part labeled by Adonai in the Common Tongue, using English letters, precisely for the purpose of anyone from Gaia beginning to learn about horses while in this world.

Triton was very much surprised at this, more so because it was obvious it was meant for someone from his family, or at the very least from his world. There would have been no reason otherwise to use English letters, no one else would use them.

"Does he?" Triton asked absently as he read it over slowly.

Lin blinked, and thought about it, and decided after a while it had to be very bad, because very little deterred Elberon from asking those dreaded questions of his.

"Then it must have been very bad, he doesn't get scared off that easily from asking questions," she murmured, "There has to be more to it than just Elberon asking questions. He always asks questions, he's been doing that since probably the Ranch started. It's as normal as..." she shrugged, "Halmir getting distracted. So it has be more than that."

Sir Leith chuckled heartily at Lin's comparison as he led the horse out towards the training pen.

"Well, to be fair, the fault of their actions lies with neither of them," he replied with a grin. "Thou art quite correct, however, in saying that it was very bad - indeed, it was. My Lady's temper was quite enough - more than enough - to match the most frightening of Aldriches. Even Lord Sheridan was never so fearful, despite his choices and actions."

Daeron grinned and sat down on the now closed chest. "He calls horses 'those damnable cowards of beasts' every chance he has," he assured Triton. "Hates them. I honestly have no idea what he's doing out here."

She didn't know this Lord Sheridan, but since he was an Aldrich, and she had never heard of him, she would assume, since Sir Leith was as old as he was, that this was a person of the past. Though the idea of frighting in choices and actions didn't sound that good.

"I hope she's alright, we never did get to play when she was more to my age, but we did get to talk a lot... once... or twice...."

Triton looked up from the diagram he was studying in disbelief, because he had heard about Sir Leith, and therefore he had to admit that piece of information caught him completely off guard.

"You're joking... but he trains them."

Sir Leith looked over his shoulder and smiled at Lin. "She is quite a lovely young lady," he told her honestly. "I believe that she would like to see thee again. She spoke of thee from time to time. She accords thee a great deal of respect and affection, and I believe that she would like to see thee again."

He led the horse into the pen and closed the gate behind himself. "If thou wouldst like, thou mayest watch - but I bid thee stay on the wall, and do not disturb the creature."

Daeron looked up at Triton blankly. "Well ... yes ... it's his job ... he says the horses here are the only ones he's ever seen that might be worth working with ... you have to understand, he's been working with unicorns his entire life, so from his point of view, horses really are a step down. From the embodiment of perfection to a creature both temperamental and far less intelligent ... anyone would feel the same way."

"Well when you put it that way," Triton murmured look back at the paper, "That would make a great deal of sense. Unicorns are quite... different."

From what he could recall, it was an experience of a life time, but he could understand why Sir Leith felt that way. It would be comparing Wish to a house cat to lack a better term.

It took Lin a bit longer to figure that one out, even though in truth it was understandable, just a lot of thees, but since they were talking about her... She didn't know what Shael had been up to, she really should go and talk with her.

"Don't worry," she replied back, "I will, I'd rather not get in the middle of all of that."

Being small as a doll gave her a health respect for large creatures and horses were still quite large to her.

Meanwhile, the other group was just arriving at the valley. Once they reached the safety of the clearing, Elnara let go of the children's hands - after all, they knew not to wander, and now that they were out of the trees she was sure she wouldn't have to worry about all of them wandering off too quickly.

"Well, we have to admit, the other house looks a lot better than the last time we were here," she grinned at Lore, remembering how run-down it had been at that time.

The children drifted off a bit, looking around at different things. Idhril, always the leader, and recognizing the house where she had been born, took Silvrendir by the hand and darted forwards towards Ulani and Ulrich's house, knocking on the door and beckoning for the others to hurry up.

Tao had been laying around outside, a bit bored at the moment, but it seemed like a good as a time as any for just resting. Though her ears perked up at the sound of voices, and lifting her head she thought that perhaps people would be there. Being who she was, she couldn't resist in getting up and taking a look for herself.

Kara smiled at that, "Well we can go visit Aliya later," she told Elnara, "She would like that a lot I think."

At least... she was pretty sure of this fact.

Meanwhile Feng and Ryu were learning the in and outs of this new game they were being introduced to.
