I have to write a five page paper on the Chinese value of education during that period and then compare it to my own and all this other bull and I cant fake it because the person grading it is the actually author of the book Da Chen.

Also, Karite - I think that's the best part about college/university. Half the time your professors are the ones that have written your textbooks. I've had 4 classes like that, and they're the best ones. =) The profs know what they're talking about, so it's easier to ask questions about the reading. ^^
SO ASK QUESTIONS. E-mail the prof constantly until s/he is so sick of you they know your first name, cell number, personal e-mail, and birthday. =)

That sounds a little over the top Maya but then again college is the highest form of structured education so who knows.

Over the top? Pffft....I almost flunked out my first semester because I never asked questions or talked to my professors. Second semester I got all A's and B's because I met with my teachers and went to study groups and took notes and asked questions and wouldn't leave until I got answers. =)
Besides, if the teachers know who you are, they look for you - and if they see you're making the effort in class, some professors make that the difference between a C- and a B+. And that's a HUGE difference when your GPA is the deciding factor for scholarships.

Well, jkowl's been my username for pretty much everything since I was..8 O.o'' I mean, type it in and you'll find it on neopets, anime sites, and just random stuff I sign up for and never use xD I felt like it was time for a change~
so -Sun Candy- was it! It kind of just popped into my head and I liked the sound of it 3nodding I've been thinking about changing my username for a while now anyways.
