Alex just looked to the group as he moved to the other side of the tomb with the group, facing a door that was identical to the other. "This should be it..." He said to himself as he started to push the door open.

"Baylor kicked off the ground, and the wand levitated higher into the air. He leaned forward and the wand zoomed forward steadily, Baylor turned and decended toward the ground and flew up to Alex. "So, you sure about this?" Baylor asked Alex. "Don't you think we should investigate a little bit? The people who built this probably made more traps like the one before.

Sara looked speculatively at the door that Alex was starting to open. "The boy might be right, Alex. From what we've seen so far, it's quite reasonable to believe that there will be another trap right behind that door. Let's be ready, shall we?"

Alex just gave a chuckle as he opened the door. "With sentries like we just saw earlier? I wouldn't see any cause for worry." He aid as the door opened up all the way. Looking down the hall, it was almost the same as it was before. "See?" He told them

"I don't hear anything..." Baylor said, his fox ears rotating to obtain different frequencies. His tails swished back and forth, and he gripped is wand just in case he might need it. The blue tipped left tail overlapped the right green tipped tail, and vice-versa. "Seems safe enough..." Baylor concluded.

Sara sniffed. "Well, in this place, from what we've seen so far, you can't be too careful. How many times in the last 15 minuets have we thought we were fine and safe, only to have some trap spring a monster on us?"

Jessica looked around. "Everyone just becareful and alert." She said. "Sara's right, we don't want to walk into a trap and have to fight more. It wastes energy, its more smart to just be aware."

Alex just made his way to the statue, now knowing that the area wasn't boobytrapped. However, the jewel was set in the forehead of the statue, now halfway in the ground. Taking a look through the cracks of the statue, he noticed that there was a hallway behind it. "Well, you all ready?" He asked them as he placed his finger above the sapphire.

Sara sunk a bit into a fighting crouch, ready should anything happen. "Ready when you are, Boss. The sooner we get out of here, the better I'll like it. I just hope, the the rest of the Crystals aren't this hard to get."

Alex then leaned to the forehead of the statue and pressed forward on the sapphire. As expected, the wall behind them sealed up. However, the zombies in the chamber were not armed. In fact, they were keeping their distance as they began to spew a poisonous breath. Reacting, he flung his coat up to his face trying to insulate himself. He then remembered Jessie, and made his way to hier side. "Ok, slight miscauculation" He told them

Aneisa saw the gas spewing from the zombies' mouths. 'SARA!!!! We're in trouble, unless gargoyles can breath poison.'
'Calm down, Aneisa. We'll be alright, but I can't concentrate with you yelling at me, alright Dear?' Throwing her cloak around her opposite shoulder to cover her face, only her eyes were visible, glaring daggers at Alex when she finally spoke out loud. "No cause for worry, Hmmm? Well, now what, oh wise and courageous leader?"

"Aah! More zombies?" Baylor yelled. He quickly brought up his staff and started spinning it rapidly, blowing the poisonous breath away from him. "I could try to bring up a wind barrier for you guys, but it will probably last only about 10 minutes!" Baylor explained to thr group. "Or I could try to snipe them, but I would need someone to keep those zombies' 'minty-fresh' breath away!"

Alex covered up as much as he could before he actually could get a smell of the gas. "Wait, that scent.....ethanol! EVERYONE, cover up in flame-resistant barriers!" He told the group as he prepared. "Baylor, can you cover it?" He asked.

Saraphina furrowed her brow. "Ethanol? What's that? And what's this about fire resistant barriers?"
But Aneisa knew what Alex meant. "Ethanol is a type of alcohol. It's EXTREMELY flammable. Wait a sec... Dirt is a great fire barrier. Sara, do you think you could do something with the dirt and rocks in here to try and protect everyone?"
Sara listened intently, getting rather nervous as realization set in. "I don't know, Dear. But I'll certainly give it a try" Before she had even finished the thought, she was reaching her hands out and testing the ground and rock around them. There seemed to be a lot of loose rocks, and some dirt as well. Now she spoke out loud. "Alex, I might be able to build a wall between us and the zombies, but it'll take a bit of time, and it won't do us much good if there's an explosion. Accept maybe shortening our suffering. But it might be enough to block a normal fire. Should I try?"
