" Hmm... Makes sense I guess. So what's on Byss...? Is there another... clue to... " Angel stopped, feeling a bit dizzy. " Nevermind. Tell me... later. I'm gonna go lay down. I guess I still haven't... recovered fully from that blast. " She left the holocron with the Dark Lord to decide what to do with it, and made her way to her own room where she layed down on her bed to rest a little. " What did Neb mean when he said I wouldn't realize my destiny yet, but I'd know what to do? He made it seem like he knows I'm to take part in something big at some point. Well, that's a given considering I'm the Dark Lord's apprentice, but still... " she thought, remembering what Neb had said to her.

Hudson walked in, just as Neb predicted. "Sir, we've got contact that the shard is on Vergresso Spaceport. According to the gungan, and the bothans, its in the hands of one Cale Darksun. But if some hot shot gambler is the only thing standing in our way, then it shouldn't be too hard to extract, right?"
"We shall worry about that later," Neb said dismissing the Calimarian. "And Mordranna, you give me too much credit. While my head is often much stronger than my will, that does not mean my heart still does not feel pains. Its just... its almost as if I was living backwards in time. I know what will happen, and I know what I will do. I can't get angry at you. You're not that blasted Valkirie anymore. You're Mordranna, Jedi knight. And you didn't kill my parents. You killed their murderer. And for that, I am grateful... Though you must understand if our friendship changes. Even the best of jedi know about emotion. The difference is if they control it or not. But our mind fatigues, whereas, our heart does not. And with that, one can only hope that love for you will beat the hatred for the valkirie."
Neb stood up, and smoothed out his robes. "But let us not talk about such history. That is for the classroom. Come, my duckie. We've arrived at the fleet. Though its only a short hop to the Vergresso Spaceport, if you wish to join."

Imperius watched as Angel left the room.
"Something is wrong with her..she is hiding something..."
Imperius set the hyperdrive and the ship rocked as it blasted into the secret route to the Deep Core provided by the Imperial traitors.

Mordranna merely smiled at Neb. "You're quite kind." she told him with a bow. She then straightened up and smoothed her robes, as well. "Even after graduating to a knight, I still feel that I have a lot to learn." "Your offer is indeed kind, Neb. However, I can't shake off this feeling regarding Ganil. Plus, I'm rather iffy on marching into a station with an outlaw population. One encounter with my former life, if you will, is enough for me. And, I'd just as soon not have it follow me - or you - to where you're going, particularly if it would hamper your objectives there. That being said, I'm grateful for what you said. That part of me is gone. However, some folks are a bit slower about learning such things." She then took a drink of water, and cleared her throat before continuing. "The sensation I felt seemed centered around Ganil. Perhaps it's nothing, but still, I wish to know for myself, and what caused it." She then regarded Neb with another smile. "Classroom ... if I'm to become a master, it seems that in any case, I should experience more, and go out into the galaxy to gain wisdom, as well as knowledge. But, that's a concern for another day." She then gave him another bow. "The best of luck, Neb, and I hope that we shall indeed meet again. In the meantime ... may the Force be with you."

Neb escourted Mordranna off the Kapella, back onto the ship which contained her fighter.
"I hear Corellia is nice this time of year. Perhaps you may wish to take in the short break in the action and persue some virtue there? And one must always be willing to learn something, or one will learn nothing. Goodbye, for the moment."
Neb waved, as he headed back up into the courier. The Kapella blasted off, and Neb felt a little disheartened, but also realized that it was for the better that they were to spend some time away from each other.
It would only be a little while till he reached the shadowport, but in the meantime, he could catch up on some reading.

Dark Heaven One of many rocks that orbited the star known as Vergresso And within that rock, was some of the worst bacteria of the galaxy: Thugs, Bounty hunters, spice dealers, pimps, slavers, bootleggers, murderers, assasins, gun runners, ship jackers, thieves, privateers, mercenaries, gamblers, drunks, and of course outlaws. One such Outlaw Was Cale Darksun. Amid the scum and the villany, Cale felt at home. he had met up with his friends and had did his best to return the supplies the had dropped him, mostly by treating them to a drunken revel. they had departed to the stars to return to their varied tasks. While it had been fun, the partying had hit him hard in the wallet. so here he was at a the Lucky Strike, one of several small gambling halls that were native to Vergresso. He had been taking a rather healthy haul and right now was just killing time with a friendly game. His opponents at the sabacc table were a Mon Cal smuggler and his Twi'lek 1st mate, A rabbit like Lepi, and a Klatooinian merc. they seemed a decent group but he didn't want to win too much. The Klatoonian carried an old clonetrooper heavy rifle and seemed rather proficient with it. But Cale wasn't worried. if anyone was going to get vaped it would be the Lepi, who was using a skifter. Cale glanced at his hand, took a swig of his lum and set himself for a slight loss.

"And, you take care, as well." Mordranna told Neb, with a cheerful lilt to her voice as she too waved to him. Corellia, eh? Seems like a good place to be, methinks. But first, I wish to see the action on Garos IV before taking it easy. With any luck, thing should be well by the time I get there. Still, I can't help but have an uneasy feeling about things. I want to know what happened to Ganil, if anything. With that, Mordranna went to change into a flight suit, seeing her saber attached to her stormtrooper belt. Afterwards, she made her pre-flight preparations, and programmed in the co-ordinates to Garos IV, and commed control for clearance. "General Brunhildt, you are cleared for takeoff," announced the cheery voice of control, which in turn lightened her mood. As her fighter rocketed out, she then smiled as she punched in some keys on her internal music player, settling on some selections from her favorite group, Hammer Force. "Here we go," she mused with a wide smile as she engaged the hyperdrive.

Angel dozed off, but didn't have any dreams. She awoke rejuvenated, feeling her energy return. After freshening up a bit, she went into the training room and practiced both her lightsaber skills, and Force powers. Once she had practiced a little, she went to the Dark Lord. " So, what's on Byss? " she asked.

"Boba Fett," Imperius answered.
"Byss is now an asteroid field, it was destroyed by the Galaxy Gun. It is therefore a perfect place for us to meet Fett."
Imperius concluded his statement just as the ship lurked back to realspace, and he navigated through the rubble of the planet.

The Kapella reached the outlaw spaceport quicker than Neb had wished; he hadn't finished the chapter yet. Disgruntled, he took the craft to the hangar bay, and after half an hours worth of discussion, and various promises on not breaking treaties, and such, and not revealing the location, yadda yadda, Neb finally landed. He failed to mention that any Bothan could find this place if chose to have it shut down, but he was obligated to buy at least one thing while here, to validate his excuse for being there in the first place.
"Hudson, take Gunny with you. Search the locality, ask around, do whatever. I have a feeling he's in the third casino. I have a hunch. And I'm feeling lucky today."
With that, the calimarian and the spike-haired human left, as Neb resumed his reading.

The little Jedi starfighter zipped it's way through hyperspace. Garos IV should be coming along shortly. was her thought of the moment, as Mordranna drifted backwards in time to a daydream she decided to indulge herself in.
It was one of those boring, uneventful days on Tattooine. Unlike the other stormtroopers, Mordranna wore a blue pauldron on her shoulder to distinguish her from the others, with some wearing orange, and others white. A little girl approached Mordranna, Tormar and Gralun. "Excuse me," the little girl shyly asked. Mordranna nodded to the little girl. "Yes?" "My kitty is lost," the little girl said mournfully. Tormar sneered beneath his helmet. "And, what's it to us?" he huffed arrogantly. Mordranna frowned beneath her own helmet. "TW-698, that will be enough!" She then removed her helmet, and crouched to eye level with the girl. "A kitty, you say?" she gently asked. The little girl nodded. "Can you help me find her, lady? Please?" Gralun merely regarded Mordranna, Tormar and the girl with a bored nod. "Well, she is the highest ranking among us three. We got time to kill, lieutenant?" Mordranna nodded. "Yes. Let us make haste in doing so," she ordered. She then crouched down to the girl. "Have you a holo of the kitty?" she asked in a lighter tone, so as to make the girl feel more at ease. The girl complied, showing what Mordranna thought to be the cutest cat she'd ever seen. "I think she should still be in the city," the girl said. "True," Mordranna conceded. "Tormar, search the southern block. Gralun, take that block over there!" she said, pointing the directions of their respective blocks. "Come with me?" she asked the girl. With that, the girl and the three stormtroopers searched a huge chunk of downtown Mos Espa for the better part of an hour. Finally, a mew was heard as Mordranna and the girl passed a shop. However, a Quarren thug was in possession of the cat. "My kitty!" the girl cried out. "You!" Mordranna bellowed to the thug. "I believe that you have what is someone else's property." she intoned evenly, her hand on the grip of her blast rifle. "Please return the cat to her rightful owner," *"No way, lady. Finders, keepers!"* snarled the Quarren in it's own gurgly language. Mordranna sighed as she drew her blaster. "Don't make me use this," *"You wouldn't dare, stormie-girl,"* the Quarren arrogantly countered. Mordranna clicked off the safety on her blaster. I'll use a stun bolt, she mused, clicking the blaster to the appropriate setting, as a lance of blue light pierced the Quarren thug. As he fell to the ground, he dropped the cat, whom promptly jumped into the girl's arms. "Thank you, lady!" cried the little girl. Mordranna merely smiled at the little girl. "It's all in a day's work, sweetie. You have your cat back, and this guy," she said, pointing to the stunned thug, "Will be waking up in a detention center."
Well, that certainly takes me back, Mordranna chuckled to herself. She then checked the navicomputer to see where she was. "Sure enough. It's about time to come out," she said as she flicked back the levers, and reverted to real-space. And so, she soared though the atmosphere of Garos IV, pinpointing through the Force Ganil's general location.

The Dreg pulled out of hyper space. The scans showed nothing but a asteroid field.
" What in the nine heavens is this? Drako?!?!" Novara commed for Drako.
" Drako! Please report to the Bridge." The Dreg stayed out of the field.

Fett emerged from hyperspace near to the field of asteroids in his Slave IV. He took in the area, scanning it with both sensors and his eyes, before finding a good spot to hide... and wait.
His battered, dimly-colored ship appeared to be nothing more than an odd bulb of rock in a see of asteroids.

Drakos foot steps could be heard coming down the hall.
Thud-Click-click-click Thud-Click-click-click
Drako was not him self. Nor was he even in his body. His new suit was larger.
Walking into the bridge.
" Now that the party is here..... Novara get your men ready. Get this ship ready. He is here...."

a Cool wind blew as Cale stood on a hill, overlooking the smoking remains of a house. Stormtroopers and a few tanks were assembled around the area, the tanks calmly watching as the troopers picked through the smoldering rebar and ruin. He had come back from Endor too late. A gauntleted hand rested on his shoulder and he looked up to see a stormtrooper's helmed visage. "Best go on home kid. Nothing to see here." The man said. Cale looked back to the ruin. "wha-what happened?" "Just some rebel scum that got what was coming to them." The trooper said. "Nothing to worry about. now, go home before it gets too dark out. you're mom's probably looking for you." The trooper said. he took his hand off Cale's shoulder and hiked down the hill to join his comrades. Cale stood on the hill, tears falling from his eyes. Despite all he had fought for, despite the emperor's death, it was all for naught. He had failed her. she died because he wasn't there to protect her. Her knight had let her down. he had kept her waiting. A knight shouldn't keep his lady waiting. Cale turned and ran back to the spaceport. He would never return to this world again.
"hey, spacer, you still with us?" a Rylothian accented voice asked. Cale blinked and he remembered where he was. He must have been daydreaming. Cale rubbed his eyes and folded. "Sorry boys. Just don't have the head for it anymore. I'll have to take you up on it another time." He stood and adjusted his jacket as he walked for the exit of the casino, bidding the gamblers a good day as he left. "ugh. wasn't even dreaming either. And it had to be that one out of every other memory I could have had, it had to be that one." He muttered, passing a Mon Cal and a spiky haired human on his way out of the casino. "Seems like a good time to go talk to my good friend Old Janx." he said, referring to a particularly strong brand of whisky. The outlaw started to walk to the Starbird sector, in search of a bar he liked to frequent to help dull his memory.
