Flora gave him another look and then went to the others. She thought about Clare's question. "To answer that question I need you all to answer mine honestly. Have any of you, at any time, almost awakened?" She had a theory.
Aiya let go of his arm as they continued to camp.
Hellen was caught off guard by Flora's question. She wasn't sure what that had to do with anything. And wasn't going to be first to share.

Erik was already gone. He has a job to do. The others would simply slow him down, and time was of the essence. Although, he was ordered to go with the Claymores... But Erik wasn't about to become a pawn in the chess game that faceless nobles played. That's what soliders where for. Mercs have loyalty only to those who pay 'em. If someone else paid him to attack the Claymores, and they paid better then the Organization, then his loyalty would change on the spot. Nobody paid better then them though. And so, he would use all his power to make the Claymores think they're the primary players. But that other human... He was a wrench in the works. He also din't plan on the girl at first, but he quickly adjusted. That other one... Erik resovled to keep an eye on him.

"Yes. I lost control. It was as alluring to me as it was for the males. But some how I was able to come back." Hellen said scratching the back of her head.

Raki finishes gathering his stuff, "Of course I shouldn't have. Logically it's ridiculus for me to be here at all. I don't know if she'll need this or even let me help if she does. Claymores can use their power to heal themselves and they are also sensitive about showing humans their ummm physique. They don't quite look like what we do."
