~The sea was most beautiful this time of year. Spring past, summer anew. Flowers bloomed alongside the shore, grasses threatening to take their precious food source and their light. Even the air smelt of salty waters, something that few ever got the chance to smell on this side of the world.

The boat lurched forward as it met the docks. One of the crew members leapt alongside the boat, examining it for damage. Another took the harness, wrapping it about one of the posts that held the dock inplace.

"Hidden Stone, as you requested sir." said a shaky captain, knowing little of the man whom had been sailing with him. He knew enough about the Uchiha clan to know that Itachi was evil, therefore everyone else from the clan was potentially as dangerous, "...I'll be leaving soon, so don't forget anything."~

~The weather-worn boards creaked as Damian's black boot contacted them. The captain kept his word about leaving, though it could only be guessed that he'd rather be far away from this place as possible. Whether it be the place itself, or maybe just Damian, no one knew. Silently, Damian peered through the trees. It was a very nice day to train, something he'd been waiting for for quite some time.

The previous two villages he'd trained in were deathly hot, scorching heats that dehydrated a trainee without mercy. This would be a welcome training session for whatever the village had in store for him. A light gust fluttered the cloak about his figure, revealing the Masamune sword at his waist. Some would kill to have the blade, yet he was the lucky one whom owned it.~

~The birds chirped in the trees above, talking in their all too foreign language, careless of anything that could happen. Their world was optimal, though in more danger then they could imagine. Who could think of a better way to live a life then up in the sky, away from it all? This however, wasn't Damian's right to life. He was destined to be a shinobi, just as he'd been destined in his two previous lives.

Light filtered through the trees alongside the dirt road, revealing small rabbit holes and other animal burrows that had been recently made. Everything was in full motion, every animal working as one entity to make their environment peaceful, yet disciplined. Damian wondered if the human nature would ever truly be at peace enough to rid themselves of war.~

~Damian's thoughts were interrupted as his ears perceived a dispute, or something of a disputing manner. Silence befell him as he stood, listening, craning his neck for another part of the conversation. Yes, he hadn't been imagining. Off to his right, slightly off the path, a young boy sat. There was an older man hovering over him, asking him questions, expecting forced answers.

It was a while before Damian realised what exactly the man was doing. He was using his eyes to try and peer into the boys mind. Apparently, the boy was suspected of stealing various items within the village ahead and wasn't confessing to his crimes, if he did them. The boy seemed to have too strong of a will for the man though, which infuriated him.~

~A stick broke beneath his foot as he made himself known. The man simply stared at him for a moment, glancing to his eyes, then to his figure.

"I believe I might be able to help...." said Damian as he stood there, folding his arms over his chest. A smug look about his already masculine features.

The man merely nodded, after placing the youth within a clan branch within his head. The man was no fool, he knew that the Uchiha clan specialized in Genjutsu. If anyone could break into the boys mind, he could.

Within moments of pressing the same technique upon the boy. He cracked, confessing what he'd done and how he'd done it to the man, whom rewarded Damian with a few gold coins for his assistance. It was afterall a rather easy job, especially given Damian's eyes.~

~A sense of accomplishment spread throughout him as he realised he'd done his first good deed since becoming a Sannin. It hadn't really occured to him that he was one, though it had been brought up by a few village elders. There was no turning back now. He was of Kage strength once again, though his techniques weren't as numerous as they had once been when he had reigned in the Mist Village as Mizukage. Those times were great, nothing could stand within his path. Nothing, that is, except himself. He would have to be sure this time that he didn't become to engrossed within learning his techniques that he forgot to live life. Life was something that he, however, could take for granted. Being reborn whenever he died. Honestly though, this time he didn't want to die by battle. Old age would be a nice thing to be finished by. This body held so many secrets from him, that old age would probably only begin to skim the top of his limits. There was nothing that could stand in his way now, nothing except for an old friend, though hopefully he would stay an ally and not turn foe.~

~Silence filled him as he admired the beauty of his surroundings once more. Winter destroyed all that was beautiful, spring brings back the new life, summer allows it to flourish, autumn brings slow death. This was the way of things for the plants. The trees were excluded from this equation, sheerly because of their size, but the smaller plants died every year, leaving only their seeds to wake their breed once more. In a way, the Uchiha were like that. All died because of Itachi, except for a select few whom were out of the village at the time. They spred their seed throughout what they could, then the species began to grow once more. Today there weren't that many like him, though in the future, he guessed there would be more.... Unless he became the next Itachi.~

~Damian's ears began to pick up a whistling noise within the air. The senses of a shinobi were quite more sensitive then that of a regular, because they trained themselves to be ready for anything. The whistling began to get louder, as Damian stood, realising that if it was getting louder, something was coming at him.

He leapt to the side just in time as a boulder came crashing through a tree, landing where he'd been. A small squat man appeared through the brush, smiling, "....I just set a new record, hell yeah." At this, he glanced at Damian, noticing his foul expression, "What?! You think you can do any better?"

Damian only smirked, observing the mans immature manners. It however would pass time to beat this man at whatever challenge he sought.~

~The man lead Damian up to the top of a hill, where he grasped a fairly large boulder. From what Damian could tell, the man was extending his chakra through his hands, using that as a leverage technique, that way he'd be able to throw it at great distances. This could be used for decent purposes if one wanted to smash an unknowing target from a long distance.

Damian smirked, grasping a boulder about the same size as the mans, shifting his chakra and weight into the throw. It cleared the path, going farther then the mans, eventually landing in the ocean with a huge splash. A chuckle was all that he could force himself to do as the man simply stared, not knowing how he'd done it so easily.~

~Where disbelief had been, anger soon emerged glaring into the eyes of Damian, "How'd you do that?! You've been spying upon me, trying to take my techniques eh?!" Swiftly, he leapt forward to punch Damian in the mouth, anger evident for he'd tried to attack Damian. Perhaps the thought that if Damian could do his own technique better then himself, then possibly he was stronger, hadn't crossed his mind. Either way, Damian wouldn't allow himself to get hit, especially by a angered fool.

Disappearing, Damian reappeared upon a branch near where the man was punching. It would take him a moment to realize what had happened most likely, but he didn't care. For now he'd make a comic out of the man, or at least til he revealed another of his techniques worth using.~

~Cursing, the man turned quickly, throwing two shuriken towards Damian, "....Quit running you coward! Fight me like a man!" The man was definately overreacting. Or was it just bad sportsmanship? The anger wasn't helping his judgement much either. The man would need to learn to control himself more, or he'd end up dead, not by Damian, but most likely by someone who had more of a short fuse.

Chuckling, Damian reappeared twenty feet behind the man. His arms were crossed upon his chest, his cloak billowing out as a breeze came through the trees, ".....tsk tsk... You really ought not get mad for me beating you stubby." Damian knew this would anger him more, which was the point. If he angered him enough, he'd pull out his best technique, then use it upon him, that way he'd learn it.~

~This struck a nerve within the mans head, making him stumble a bit as he stood in place, his mouth lank, ".....How dare you mock me?! You dirty little imbred guano eater!" His hands formed three hand seals as he spoke. Each one stored away in Damians memory banks as he watched what would surely be the persons best technique.

Dropping his hand to the ground, the man through his fist into it. With a lurch a large crack began to form on the route to where supposedly Damian was stationed. The ground fell within itself where he stood, the mans face brightening from his revenge being taken, "....lets see you talk now puny weakling!"~

~Smirking Damian formed the three hand seals himself. The person that had fell for his trick had been a mere clone set aside when he had throne the shurikens. His eyes were obviously slow and his anger was imparing his judgment. A sigh parted his lips as he dropped his fist towards the ground. A long straight crack began to form, then it imploded upon itself, sending all that was above it into the ground itself.

The man fell, getting his leg caught. While he was bothering with that, Damian left, deciding that staying the night in the Inn would be a fine idea. Laughter filled his lungs as he heard more curses from the now injured man. Maybe in the future he'd think before he spoke. For now however, he would still be too full of pride.~

~Throughout the night, Damian had slept in the local inn, having paid the inn keeper the gold that he'd gotten from the Genjutsu specialist. The place was rather nice looking, though definately not worth what he had paid. Chuckling, he laid down, extending his feet along the bed. He didn't bother undressing, because he'd leave as soon as day broke through the skies. Crickets could be heard chirping outside of his window, which he didn't altogether like, being that the bed was right beside it. Anyone could easily assault him from the outside. Hopefully no one would, because that would be a most unfortunate event.

Silent fell about him, his head tilting off onto the duck feathered pillow. The night was a decent one, having little rest all day without training some more. A hard days work for an honest man, though what shinobi was truly honest?~

~As the morning sun began to peek through the dense forestry around the encampment that Damian had slept for the night, he awoke. For a moment he stared out the window, contemplating leaving, though deciding not to. There had to be at least one more technique that he could learn from the village that he didn't already know. Slowly, his groggy body fumbled with the cloak, equiping it with a clasp. Silence was a repetitive happening around here. It was eerie that no sound was being made within the village this early.

Yawning, his hand met the doorknob, twisting. The door creaked loudly, needing an oiling pretty soon since the winter had threatened its bearings from rusting. The floorboards creaked upon the outer porch as he set out into the village, turning down a path he'd not been done before.~
