Ichibi looked at Brad and said "that is him" he pulled Nali off her but and he walked her over to Brad. "Ichibi!" Nali said she then looked at Brad and said "hi. i'm Nali"

"ok, well welcome to the city" Nali said as she thought of Hedge. she then realized that more than one protector wouldn't hurt her. "can i help you, pooh flinger?" Ichibi asked as he eyed Kuro suspiciously

Ichibi brought his head back for a howl, and Nali grabbed his snout "Ichibi! cut it out! i don't care whether you like the monkey, er...Kuro, or not! you two will have to work together!"

he then walked outside and leaned against the wall, looking at all the people as they stood around or walked past him
"...i need...allies" he thought as he closed his eyes "their numbers grow even now...and here i am playing barkeep".
he slammed his fist against the brick wall and sighed.
it was a lucky ordeal that he had been draine dof most of his demonic essence in the last fight but he was still on gaurd and if all else failed would try to pass himself off as one of them but he knew not if that would work well or even happen
