Diviana raised a brow at the girl. She seemed a little on edge. If she didn't like demons then why was she sitting there with them? Or maybe it was something else. "Just assumed. Loki caught a glimpse of someone by the edge and we've yet to see anyone else." Loki simply looked her over, eyes lingering here and there as he wondered how to get her out of her bad mood.

Charlotte looked at the ground, well picnic blanket really. A few fibres stuck out here and there and that was it. Frankly she was likeing the other demon better then this female one. He hadn't said a word yet, something she wished the female one had followed as well.
you shouldn't always believe everything you see. she mummbled just out of earshot. She tried to suffocate her bad mood, though it instead seemed to just simmer, ready to pop at nearly anything. Better then before was all she could come up with as an excuse to herself.
b]Nice day isn't it?
She said to no one in particular, glancing at the other demon. It didn't really matter she hadn't even found out their name yet.

Diviana felt a small twitch start at the corner of her eye. The girl really didn't seem to like her very much...though she didn't know why. So why didn't she just leave? She huffed slightly after hearing the muttered comment, her hearing better than a human's. Loki looked between his cousin and the girl then sighed. This wasn't going to turn out well if the girl didn't lighten up. "Well...it started off nice," Diviana snipped slightly, taking out a small sandwich from the basket and nibbling on it, her tail twitching lightly.

Charlotte sighed. They both seemed rather cheesed off now,it was only her to blame of course. She put her better judgement asied,it was one thing to be in a bad mood, but spreading it? She was heavily against it.
I'm sorry um I never caught your name?
She tried to keep her voice level,or at least from slipping into the sarcastic scale. She wasted time by trying to re-arrange her space. Once again it fell limply to the side of her face. A nervous laugh escaped her lips.
my hair is rather pathetic when it gets even slightly warm.]
A sad excuse for a concosational topic was her only thought this time.

When Diviana didn't speak up at once, Loki decided to answer for them. "Ah, I would be Loki and this is my cousin, Diviana." His smokey eyes swirled as he looked at her, still grinning. "And I think you look just fine--" A smack with the parasol is what he got. "Your hair, that is." He sent a glare at Diviana before returning his grin at the girl. "And who would you be, my dear?"

Charlotte supressed a giggle at the abrupt smack on the head this..loki had recieved. She was a little disappointed that Diviana hadn't replied, she had been aiming to try and get back on good terms, but either was good.
I'm Charlotte,and thanks for the erm..compliment.
She hoped she could at least try and hold a conversation with him a.

Diviana didn't quite understand the girl, who was now known as Charlotte. First she came up in a bad mood then tried to be friendly. Loki still didn't seem to mind. "It's a pleasure to meet you Miss Charlotte. I suppose this is my lucky day." Risking another smack from either lady, Loki lightly took Charlotte's hand and kissed it. Diviana just shook her head, knowing full well what he wanted out of the situation.

Charlotte gracefully manouvered her hand out of loki's hand,he seemed to have more manners then Diviana at least.
likewise I'm sure
she said, raising a hand to her eyes as she glanced up at the sun,it's reflection on the water looked like a sheet of silver over the grass.
Rather hot isn't it? I's fancy a deep in the lake if I has something else to change into
Shescratched her chin and moved more into the shade, ruffling her own small wings at the same time, though they withheld heat they also could act as a sort of fan. she sighed a sigh of relief as the cooled air pushed on the back of her neck.

Loki would have made a suggestiion but Diviana's glare made him stop. "We've been in hotter," she replied though it didn't come out snippy or rude. "Yes...but they didn't have a sun down there." She shrugged lightly then held a small sandwich out to Charlotte, figuring since she was trying to be nice then she herself should as well. Loki just glared at the sky and prayed for some clouds or, better yet, rain.

Charlotte raised her eyebrow but said nothing. She guessed whereabout they ment but for some reason she didn't yet want to go onto that topic just yet. She gratefully took the sandwhich and took a bite. It was kind of odd she thought. That creatures who were ment to be the ultimate rivals could still sit down and eat lunch like casual people. not that they weren't casual. An errie silence passed and she wondered if anyone was going to say anything.

Small clouds began to roll in but nothing too major which disappointed Loki. He sighed to himself then shuffled around the basket for a sandwich. His eyes glaced over Charlotte again, wondering what she'd say if he asked to walk with her. But the sun was still bright and he couldn't stand that. Diviana took a glance around, deciding later that she'd go down to the water's edge. She hoped some pretty fish would be swimming a bout in the shallows.

Charlotte finished her sandwhich and wiped her hands, getting rid of any crumbs over the grass which some animal would no doubt take eventually. She hummed quietly to herself the tune of 'Somewhere over the rainbow. She glanced around and stood up,feeling best to take her leave.
I'll be off then, unless anyone wishes to escort me around the lake?
The sentence was barely a question and more to the point of something polite to say. But she would accept it if offered.

Before Diviana could say a word, Loki hopped up and moved over to her with his arm out. "I'd love to escort you around the lake, Miss Charlotte." He wore his grin again but acted very gentlemanly about it. Plus, more clouds had rolled in and he figured he'd be able to stand it better. Diviana waved her hand. "You two go on. It was a pleasure to meet you, Charlotte." She then turned to Loki. "And do behave yourself, cousin."

raising an eyebrow at Diviana's comment,Charlotte gracefully took Loki's outstretched hand and headed in a clockwise direction around the lake. She waved at Diviana and then directed her attention more towards Loki. His gesture had surprised her but she happily took it.
So Loki, tell me about yourself I guess.
She was unsure of how to start a conversation but it seemed a good try at it.

Loki grinned and lead Charlotte away. "About myself, eh? Nothing too much to say. I enjoy the dark, playing tricks, and sharing my time with ladies such as yourself." He didn't add, however, exactly what he did with those women. He never talked about past lovers. "And how about you, my dear?"
