Yea I've never heard of Subeta but I can't say I'm all that inclined to head on over there now. I mean that is much too extreme and unnecessary of a rule. And that's quite the extreme reaction for a first offense.

I don't really care too much about the site, but I'm on it for the RP. One of my friends will only reply to role-plays on Subeta. I've lost my temper. I tried to sound reasonable in my reply to the admin, but if they froze my account for something this trivial they might not like my attitude and keep my account banned. I just want to understand the rules, not defy them. If I break a rule, something says I never understood it to begin with. This isn't like user harassment or scamming. I just asked for help with a game, which pales in comparison to doing something that serious.
Now, certain games I can see where asking for help isn't a good thing. But they're being childish.

Well, obviously fighting with them will get you nowhere, as annoying as they may be. So good luck keeping calm and hopefully getting your account back, so at the very least you can still rp if nothing else.

@JK: Haha, sometimes I feel jealous of people who are in a relationship, but never of marriage or kids. XD I guess I just don't want those things.
Ah, I see... well I hope it works out then...
Thanks. They say she has a 50/50 chance of the Chemo working. I looked up statistics, and leukemia overall has a 20% survival rate.
@Hawk: That sounds a lot like Neopets. They were so strict, it was difficult to post in the forums at all without them finding a reason to ban you. Those sites just aren't worth it.

I don't want to want those things, but then I can't deny that I do.
Considering the statistics 50/50 isn't bad, anyhow irregardless of how it goes hope you are ok. *hug*

@Kitsune: Even though I can make another account after about a year or so, I don't want to dedicate myself to a site and then get banned again. - -"
@JK: I don't know whether it was my attitude or the severity of the offense, but I can't get my account back. After a year, I will have forgotten all about this...maybe. I'm just not going on that site anymore. It's too strict and I don't do well with too many rules.

Doesn't sound like a very desirable site anyhow, sorry about your role-play though. Any chance of being able to talk your partner into playing elsewhere, considering circumstances?

I've been worrying about my ability to conduct myself properly all day. I feel horribly broken, perhaps for multiple reasons. I'm just afraid of getting banned from other sites as well.
My friend said we may be able to continue via email, which is perfectly fine with me. I regularly check my email now.

Oh glad you will get to continue, can't imagine someone getting banned for email.
And that's an understandable fear, since you already got attacked once for a mistake. However Gaia's rules are pretty basic, and they are a bit more lax about just kicking people off. At worst I've only had friends get flagged - and that's for rules they very well knew they were breaking (just really didn't think it'd be that big a deal). So at the very least you'll probably be fine here.

My 7-year Gaia anniversary is Friday the 7th, so...yea, I've been here awhile. People complain about Gaia a lot, but the rules are easy to follow and I appreciate Gaia's relaxing environment. I feel like I don't have to worry about things too much. There are things about Gaia that I don't necessarily like, but no website can be perfect, nor am I here for them to cater to my every whim. People on Gaia make it worth the effort to keep coming back here.
If there's any website I make sure to follow the rules to a T, it's Gaia, because it really shows I've been here awhile.

I think other than my email, I've had nothing longer than my blog (think I made that back in 2004). Which in no way relates to people.
I've been on Gaia for 3.5 years about, although it wasn't until a year or so ago that I really started using it to interact with other people (mainly did puzzles and dressed up my avi). I have found I rather like it, and I've never had any problems with any of the people myself.
I wouldn't intentionally break rules, but I can be pretty lazy about reading rules, so if there are any weird or obscure (like don't ask for help during a game or else we'll ban you) rules that aren't just obvious I'd be at risk of breaking them. In general I think the only place on Gaia that could possibly have a realm in which I suppose I could get in trouble is zOmg, and I'm not really into MMORPG. RPG, sure, though I never have time, but I definitely like "ridin solo," which reminds me I need to bug my friend for a song. razz
Anyhow happy early anniversary! ^_^

Thanks.
DeviantART I've had for 5 years. I keep going for those "free art" awards to people who make X page view on Deviant ART. The best thing about those is some good artists are obscure and don't have a lot of people attacking their page with views, so I'll likely be the first one to say anything about it. xD I'm one of the few that care about those occasions, mostly because I'll jump at the first chance I get to have my OC drawn or something. But I'm not above drawing her myself, I'm just lazy. XP
Livejournal, my oldest entry dates to 6 years ago. I have huge gaps in my posting because I mainly write journal entries when I have no one to vent to, so there are more posts before I met my current best friend than presently.
I've been on Facebook since last year, so not really that long. My twitter is about a year and a half. My YouTube account is...3 years I think.
I also have a blogspot which I've never made use of. One is from like three months ago that I made to use, but decided I had no use for. My oldest one was made as a suggestion from a friend to start a blog. XP

Hmm, I'm not sure how long I've had my DA account, I know not as long as Xanga though. I originally only made it to see things that were rated Mature, eventually I started uploading my poetry and my stupid little comics. I'm not much of an artist and DA is obviously more of an artist community, so I don't get much use out of it myself.
I'll be coming up with 7 years on Xanga around spring, think I made it around March 2004? I'd have to check, but it's something like that. Made it right before graduating HS...yup...just dated myself. wink
I joined FB in summer of 2004 right before starting my undergrad, that was back when it was college (and 4 years at that) only, I mean I like that other people can be on it but I kinda miss some of the exclusive academic networking features of it. I think it does still do a better job of retaining some of that though, I mean at least it always trumps when compared to Myspace. I haven't made a Twitter. I mean you can post a status on FB, it seems redundant to me to have both. Youtube I'm also not sure of the age of my account, made it originally for the same reason I made the DA one, only I really had nothing to do with that after.
I also have a photobucket, assorted emails, a Myspace I check about once a year now (if that - but can't bring myself to shut it down), a FF.net account...I think that's it. For the most part I try to only have one of each type of thing, I'll only ever use one (Myspace was pretty much abandoned for good when FB opened to all). Hence never moving on to LJ, I love my Xanga, even if nobody is there anymore (heck, that's almost preferable). Granted my friend made a second LJ that I do have access to, if for any reason I ever wanted to be on there. razz

@JK: Thank you.
Yeah, I've heard of a lot of people being banned from Gaia for no reason, but somehow I think there were reasons they were hiding. I've never even gotten a warning from a moderator, and I don't even try to follow rules. Not to mention I'm going on six years on this site, and nearing my 100,000th post. It's just too difficult to 'accidentally' get banned here, and I like that.
Been on DA and Youtube four years, DA to upload art, Youtube to upload some videos, but mostly favorite. Only other of the sites listed I have accounts on are Photobucket and FF.net. PB I just use to save images I like, and the account is completely private. FF I've only uploaded one story, and rarely visit at all.
