Usaki noticed Calison didn't believe him from his remark. He revealed a brooch that identified him as a Leading Knight of the Senate, Tests ere rigorous for this and you had to at least have on fourth of the Royal Bloodline in you this proved it, Usaki was Calison's bodyguard and Calison knew it he just didn't accept it.

Calison took note of the brooch and knew what it was, the library at his academy had a book on all about Caliphen...he now knew why the book was always left out when he went to study in there. He then asked, "What do I have to do, go back 'home' and visit with these senators? Or is further instruction suppose to arrive." Remember that the man was mute Calison added, "Hold up one finger for the first or two finger for the second..."
"You believe all this now? Shard finally asked his master. Calison gave the fox a nod and replied, "What choice do I have, I can't think of anything to contradict this...

Usaki stood for a moment considering the question. He blinked and rose up two fingers. He then motioned to the door, as if to say Let's go. He remembered Rose and wrote on a napkin. What about your companion? messily for the napkin was unsmooth. He handed it to Calison to wait for an answer.

" hmmm?" uma stared from the shadows at usaki and calison " well if it isn't that boy.....why isn't he speaking?" she waited to see what would happen.

Calison read what Usaki wrote on the napkin and replied, not questioning how he knew about her, "Right...she was looking for the heir as well...I guess I should tell her that she found him...I might need your help to prove this claim to her, I'm still having a hard time fully accepting it myself." He beckoned for his new bodyguard to follow him upstairs, as they pasted the lobby, Calison didn't take notice of Akane as he went up the stairs two at a time.
When he reached Rose's door, he knocked softly and called out, "Rose, can I see you for a minute?"

Usaki stood silently as if he had a choice. He waited for Rose to appear. Finally I found this kid. He thought even though he was barely older than him. As he realized this a new thought overtook his head,How will Rose take this?

She spotted him at last though he didn't notice. She waited in the lobby. Hmm.....I see there's another person around that boy....Maybe he's the lost heir that the Tor are chasing....

Rose didn't answer the door. How could she if she had snuck out the window? She didn't want to cause him any more trouble so she left a note.
'Dear Calison,
I don't want to trouble you anymore but you were right. It was a fools errand. I am greatful for what you have done for me. I do not wish to endanger your life any further so farewell and goodluck. Who know's maybe we will run into eachother in the future?'
It was signed with a delicatley drawn rose and tucked under the key on the table.
After she wrote the letter she opened the window and slipped out. Her hood covered her face as she quickly made her way towards the city gates. She wanted to get out of the area as quickly as possible. As she walked she saw one of the little kids from earlier who was now lost. She smiled at him. "Hello I'm the girl from earlier. Are you lost?" She saw him nod his head and wipe some tears away. "Don't worry I'll take you home. C'mon." She started to walk with him and he slipped his hand into hers. She smiled at the little boy.

When Rose didn't answer for a while, Calison tried the handle and it was unlocked, he announced, "Rose, I'm coming in!" He then turned the handle and let himself in. He found the room to be empty and as he looked around he saw that the window was open and her things were no where to be seen. It wasn't long until he found the note that she had left behind.
He read it through and he simply couldn't believe it. "This is a tad bit ironic, don't you think..." Shard said to his master. Calison shot the fox a look to tell him that he wasn't helping things. He then told Usaki about the situation and beckoned him to follow him once more as he quickly went into his own room and grabbed his things before sprinting out the door of the inn, headed toward the gates of the city.

Rose began to humm and the boy smiled. He skipped next to her as they walked back. When they finally reached the house his mother came running out. She scooped him up and hugged him to death.
"Oh my baby! Don't do that EVER again!" she turned to Rose. "Your the girl from earlier arent you? Oh Thank you! Thank you!" She smiled as she saw her nod her head. "I can't tell you how happy we were to see someone stand up to a gaurd like that. Well at least one of our types. The higher classes do it all the time with ease." She sighed and hurt eyes looked at her. "Are you really a servant for that man?"
Rose frowned. "No. I was just traveling with him. I was looking for someone but he said it was a fools errand. Now I am done and going back to my home country. I plan on building a house there..." Her voice trailed off. She hadn't the faintest idea how in the world to build a house.
The woman looked at her shocked. "Thats so far away! And build your OWN house? My dear child no! No! No! You will stay with me. It is my own way of saying thanks!" She smiled at Rose again.
Rose sighed. "I guess it couldn't hurt. Thank you." She followed the woman back into her small house.

"Do you need help with anything? Can I get that for you? What can I do. Where's the broom?" Rose bombarded the woman with questions. If she was going to stay she would need to help out around the house.
The lady sighed and looked up from the dishes. "First off, I'm Mary. No I don't need help. I can get it myself. I'm not sure what you can do. The house doesn't need sweeping." She saw the girl frown. "I'll give you a list of items we need and some money. You can go shopping IF you tell me your name."
"Hello, I'm Rose. Pleasure to meet you. Now can I help out??"
Mary laughed. "Yes, yes alright. Here it is." She pulled out a list from her apron and a few coins. "Try to stick around this area please? Oh and don't get caught by the gaurds!" She called out to Rose as she ran out the door. "That girl is very odd. I've never seen someone want to help out as much as her..."
Rose was out the door before she mentioned the guards. She looked at the list and saw there was a few items. Looking at the coins she saw there wasn't much. "I guess I can do them a favor..." She went into the higher class area to shop for some food. She got the items on the list and thought they needed something special. She saw and smelt some fresh pastries. She bought them and started to walk back. Trying to keep everything in her arms she ran into a boy and fell back. Luckily nothing fell. "Hey! Watch where yo-" Her voice trailed off as she noticed it was Calison.

As Calison ran through the crowded marketplace as he headed towards the gates, he ran into someone. "I'm so sorry, I'm in a hur-" before he could finish apologizing he noticed it was Rose that he ran into. "This is what you would call a long shot coincidence" Shard said to his master. Without looking at his familiar Calison replied, "Your analysis on various happenings is not helping me at all!
"Rose, there you are...why did you leave all of a sudden, I wanted to tell you something very important..."

She stood up and managed to brush off some dirt without dropping anything. "Sorry but I need to go. Mary is expecting me back soon." As she passed him her arm hit his and covered it in frost. She was somewhat annoyed at the least. Walking back her footsteps left sleet that shocked a few mages who had noticed. They whispered to eachother about how she acts and looked like a lower class. Ignoring them she kept walking.
When Rose got home Jack ran outside. "Rose! Rose! Your back." She laughed at him and smiled. "Yes I am. Now whats your name you never told me." She walked inside as he stated his name. "Hello Mary. Here." She handed her the original items on the list and her little extras. Not to mention the money she was given. "Thank you for your offer and hospitality but I think I should go on my own way now. I have a heir to the throne to look for."
"Oh Rose, you didn't need to do this. Please, I insist you take the money for spending your own." She tried to hand the girl the money but with no luck. "If you must, your a charming girl. Though I can tell your tense about being around others. Unless faced with a higher authority. You don't happen to be from Descron do you? You remind me of someone from there..." She saw her nod her head. "Oh my! You are? Did you know a fellow named Dimitri? He was my little brother. He became a theif over there... I haven't heard from him in awhile though. I must say you remind me exactly of him. You stick up for your people and your charming. Yet you have a dangerous side to you."
"Actually, I did know him. He raised me and a boy named Robin who was a year older then me. He also had a campanion named Spencer... Sadly they died though. They wanted me to run and continue what they started." A tear slid down both of their cheeks. "I'm sorry to hear he was your brother. Dimitri was the closest thing I had to a father... I must be going." She walked out before Mary could say anything else. Unnoticed, she slipped a bag with coins in it on the table out the door.
She sighed and walked back in the direction of Calison. She saw him standing where he was moments ago. "Look, I'm sorry to of left like that. I didn't mean to blow you off. I'm here now, and I'm not leaving again. There's no point in looking for the heir anymore. Instead, it looks like I found a friend who needs me around more." She smiled at him and meant it. What she stated had come straight from the heart.

Akane ran along the rooftops and had observed the little display of affection that had taken shape. Sickens me to the pit of my stomach. Oh well. She looked around and saw the people around murmuring of the "peasant" who was able to do magic. Not one thing has changed. Raiden looked on with his master. Suddenly there was a scream. A little child was running from one of the guards. He held some medicine in his hand. She jumped off and ran over to where this was taking place. The guard had cornered the kid.
"What seems to be the problem officer?"
"This little kid is a thief!"
She sighed and gave the guard some money. "There is the payment for the medicine." The guard glared at her. "You've got a problem?"
He took the money and went up to her. "It's scum like you that's the reason we have so much trash in this town." She sighed "Yeah, yeah." She turned to the boy and told him to go. The guard grabbed her but she just stared at him. "I suggest you let me go....." The guard felt a sudden pain in his arm. He screamed in agony. When he looked up she was gone. He called the other guards and they began to search the city for her.
This looks like trouble.....

When Rose completely blew him off, Calison didn't quite understand why she was being so difficult, he was trying to give her some good news. He brushed away the frost on his arm as he talked with Shard about why she was acting this way.
"Did I say something wrong?" Calison asked his fox as they lingered in the area, getting a few looks from the people around them. Shard shook his head, "It doesn't matter what you said, it's more of how she took it...but I can't think of anything to make her so upset that she left without saying a word and then completely blow you off just now...
They stood there thinking about it as the people walked around them since they didn't seem to be moving anytime soon as they were lost in thought. It was when to their surprise that Rose actually came back that they snapped out of their train of thought.
They listened to what she had to say and smiled and nodded at her. "Glad to hear that you're here to stay...but there's something that I want to tell you that I just found out...," Calison said as he gave her with the official letter from the Caliphen senators. After she read it through he finally whispered in her ear softly "I'm the heir..."
