well that's the down side of (an artist on) gaia.
last month i bought a curry cook book. ;D i'll make sweet potato curry with spicy sauce.. (too bad i didn't buy chili - thus i doubt the spicyness of the outcome.. once i make it of course. ;D )
did you survive through the gnomes?

i made too much of that curry. it couldn't fit in one kettle. biggrin
i have big plans for this thread now. I've got to just draw the present ones first.. sweatdrop I have two new themes planned. : D

feel free to use the idea, it's totally legal to copy ideas (we've been told this at school). And I'm not against you in using the theme idea. ^___^ Can't wait to see what will be your thread theme! in case you want to try it of course. : D

thankies wink I used a very good tutorial on da for the skin, i wish i could remember it. And that character got a role on my new manga... ahem.. which has only, about two pages. xD He's he, I decided. :3 And I'll continue that drawing, but I have to wait that till next week... :/ My aunt's funeral is on Friday I'm going home tomorrow so I can attend it... so I'll stay there for the weekend.. I know the mood might be too murky for health... sweatdrop
I worked so hard to get the joyful mood out of me... xD ;; oh well. ... as for the funeral, I didn't get to know her well, as she lived in South and was quite religious.. and strict to my cousin, from what i remember...
yes internets makes life easier with all the tutorials ;D <3

the funeral itself wasn't quite as bad as I thought, though the mood was sad (with a reason, of course)
i met the children i'm supposed to teach today, uhhh yay! And some parents. The children were NERVOUS... even I talked A LOT more than usual, had to >___< and I was badly informed, hahaha so much use to them ><;
@ anyone - heyyy, i'm going to be a guitar teacher. surprised

It is so cool that you are becoming a guitar teacher! Which age group is it for?
Personally I hate funerals, even if it is someone you didn't really like that much. I have problems with emotional situations, I cry when I should laugh and vice versa which gets troublesome in public ceremonies... I am sorry about your aunt though, and maybe especially for your cousin who lost their mother.

oh i'm gonna be a lousy teacher but, hey, everyone has to start from somewhere! ;D I've had 10 lessons now, and got informed that one of my students likes the lessons a lot (!) and he probably is just as excited as i am now (now that i heard the feedback) :'D I'm so happy i could make some snowmans at the backyard! But my clothes were soaked so i decided not to D;
so... the age group is from 7 yrs to 11 yrs.
thank you for the compliment, i had to have some fun with them wink i was supposed to draw them side by side and the boy would be showing something from his camera to the girl... but.. somehow it became like this : D i wish i could draw those impulse chibis more..
What I hate about the funerals especially is the moment when we're in church and you feel like crying and then notice that the children in the front seats are watching you and checking who's crying and so on!
Yes I feel it wasn't very easy to my cousins, though we all knew she ( ~ 56 yrs ) couldn't survive the cancer, and we were informed that she wouldn't be alive longer than a year ... that was told year and half ago.
and i adore your signature art : D it has a bit of the Twilight feel in it ;]

Aw, that sounds great! And getting feedback like that sounds very motivational, I have always been afraid of teaching because I was convinced the kids would think I was stupid/boring/etc.. Then again I am kind of scared of children in general. whee
Someone should abolish cancer, like now. My grandmother was diagnosed with cancer for the second time last week, and she is too weak to go through the treatment again. So she probably only has a few weeks or months left, I feel so bad about moving now, she is not likely to still be here when I come back in six months.. Terrible disease, it really seems to eat people up from the inside. sad
I have never seen Twilight, but thanks!
