Hello everyone - I'm Ravenclaw's newest member, sorted today. My name is Orna (Liz in real life) and I'm 23 years old. I just graduated with my Masters degree in Occupational Therapy and moved back down south to be closer to family.

Today's question: Where are your greatest strengths?

I have to admit, I was at first confused by this question - usually it is 'what' are your greatest strengths. Intentional or not, I rather like the rephrasing of this question. My greatest strengths are in my faith, my friends, and in my family. In situations where I am forced to look outside of who I am and what I know to lean on my faith or others. To lean on my faith (at first) was difficult due to the fact that you can't logically prove to someone else that your faith is viable, and to lean on others is difficult because humans are fallible.

I hope that this answers your questions satisfactorily, and I look forward to spending time with other Ravenclaws.

Yeah - I'm currently in a different state preparing to road trip it back down to GA (helping my bro move) so my internet time is limited to whatever the hotel has and how awake I am at the end of the day. sad But then I get to go to Orlando! Yes!

I went to Florida this summer. Oh and I have a suggestion about our common room. I will go to the sticky about suggestions too but yeah. I posting it here first. As we all know that in order to get into the Ravenclaw common room in the books, you must solve a riddle. Maybe that's what we could do here. I don't know, it is an idea. Then, we could change it once a week or once a month.

Taylor - congrats on achieving THIRD YEAR! I loved your two photos in the Post Pictures of Yourself thread! I love your necklace in the second one, and it looks like you're cuddling a purple Puffskein! And thanks for your suggestion about a question to enter the common room. We have that in place just for first time posters I may change the question from time to time for first timers right now the way it's phrased is very deliberate (a tip of the witches cap to Orna who noticed) and the way it's answered gives me a lot of insight to our new Ravenclaw.

What do the rest of you think? Do you want check for new questions before you post? I can place another question for "older" Ravenclaws. I imagine a question would stay for a while, maybe a week or two, and once you've answered it, you don't have to answer it again until a new question is posted. But you would have to check each time you posted.

Also, any suggestions for Ravenclaw should just be posted here, or PMed to me. Taylor, I took down your post in the common suggestion thread as it's just for Ravenclaws. (And you should know the first thing I check when I come online is the Ravenclaw Common Room!) Well, second - I check PMs first.

Para - congratulations on your new job!! Hope everyone had a great weekend; my highlight was renting High School Musical. Fun! And giving some TTouch to Topaz, my senior tabby, who is 19. Her hip is much better since she's been getting TTouch! She purrs through her session!

TTouch is worth checking out, it includes animal communication as well as healing them with touch: www.tellingtonttouch.com. If you love animals give yourself plenty of time -it's a large website and you'll want to check it ALL out!

Hmm - that TTouch information definitely sounds interesting. I know that my pets love it when I give them massages, this definitely sounds like a step above what I am currently doing. I'm glad that it is helping your cat out with her arthritis!

I did like that we had to answer a question in order to 'officially' enter the common room. And it does offer a lot of insight into a person. smile
