Kagome closed her eyes, awaiting her fate, it was the orb of bright light that shocked her.
Her eyes snapped open, and the beast roared in pain, and blindness and the pure energy from the orb disinigrating it, leaving just the jewel in its place.
The orb was bright, and was likely to be seen from anywhere, what she didn't realize, was that she was on her knees, the jewel fragment in her hand, and she was just gazing at it, tears shimmering and sliding down her cheeks quickly, yet without her knowledge.
Her hurt, and feelings were all pouring out, being in that protective little orb. She would stay in that orb, until Inuyasha found her, then, she would be safe.

"KAGOME!" Inuyasha cried aloud. A large streak of light had blazed through the sky, in the same direction Kagome had gone. With all his might, he sped ever so quickly until, at once, his heels ground into the dirt and his body fell slight forward.
A large, glowing orb hovered above him, pulsating with light. He smelled the air, but could not find a path Kagome would have gone by.
Could this... thing be Kagome?
"K-Kagome?" he said, warily. "Are you....I mean, Is that... Is that you?"

Kagome's head shot up, and the bright light faded, the tears still flowing without her knowledge.
"Inu...Yasha...? Why did you follow me..? You...You should be with Kikyou....not me..." She stood and turned, trying to hold back sobs, it was hard enough, him seeing her cry.
"You have....the one you want....you gave your life to her...I cannot compete with that..." She held the fragment in her hand and looked down at it.
"It's hard...loving a man taken by another woman..." she added, and then covered her mouth, DAMNIT KAGOME! WHY DID YOU SAY SOMETHING?! She then let her gaze fall to the ground, and fell silent.

Inuyasha grabbed Kagome's hand, and looked her sternly in the eyes.
"Never think that. EVER." His voice was solid, and harsh. "Never for a second beleive that I would let you get hurt. Never think that I would leave you to fend for yourself." he sighed softly, and then added. "Kagome..." and then smiled, "Didn't we just have this talk? Didn't I tell you that I wanted you to stay?" his stare turned into a gaze, and his body relaxed. "Why would I want you to stay here with me, if I was going to be too busy chasing after Kikyou all the time?"

Inuyasha....
She felt her heart beat quicken, and she was blushing. She was breathless, she didn't know what to say.
Is this his version of a confession...or...?
She just gazed back, eyes wide in shock. "W-What do you mean? InuYasha...what are you saying? Are you...?" She flushed, the warmth of his hand around hers was comforting. She smiled softly, "Thank you..." She hugged him, and felt her last few tears dry on his robe.
"Are you saying...you finally chose?" She still had not let go of his hand, it was too comforting, and she loved the feel of it.

Suddenly, Inuyasha turned a deep shade of red, and he began to sweat. What was this feeling? His heart was going to explode if he didn't say something soon. His thoughts raced, when he noticed Kagome had still not let go of his hand.
Does she... is she feeling this way too?
Inuyasha looked into her eyes, they were so soft, and pure. He could lose himself forever in those warm brown eyes of hers.
What... what do I say?
Words formed in his mouth, but this time, instead of refusing to be said, they wanted to pour out of him like a river, and swallow Kagome up, and keep her forever inside him. But he kept his mouth clamped shut.
B-But what if... she doesn't....
He held her tightly, and this time, without hesitation, his voice whispered in a low tone
"Kagome. I swear that you will never get hurt. By anyone." he breathed slowly. "And that includes me. I will never hurt you; never let you suffer. I will do all that I can to make sure you are happy. And if that means..." his voice nearly cracked, but he had to stay strong or Kagome. "If that means that I have to decide right here and now, then I will.
Kagome, yes. With all my heart and soul, yes, I have decided."

Kagome hugged him, looking up at him, their gaze not breaking. "Good. Because...I feel the same way...I always have...and always will...thats why I was so upset over Rider...and Kikyou...." she winced, "I'm so happy..." she hugged him, feeling so comfortable in his arms.

Kagome closed her eye's, she had so much fate for Inuysha. Kagoma was really in love with him. she stayed with her, but Niroku's sister came and tool Kagome into the cackle, so then Inuyash went to go save her but his sister was turning Inuyasha into a full demond then Kagome got really scared and started to yell Inuyasha's name. Then Shipo threw the jewl shard at Kagome and she was free, so Kagome ran to Inuyasha to save him from turning. She helped him my kissing him on the lips, then Inuyasha turned back and kissed her back and he told her that he will stay a human a little bit longer for her.

((uhm......vampire_queen.....this is a roleplay....and the character's are kinda taken.....Im Kagome, and piratella is Inuyasha, if you didn't read the last few posts. Please do not post, unless you send me a PM, telling me you want to be a character, and proving you are absolutely literate enough for this RP. I have no idea what you are rambling about in there, but i would appreciate if you would not put random posts that have nothing to do with our storyline in our roleplay. Thank you. ))
