Oscwen stared back and forth until she realized her work was done. She had met three new Wizards, as well as observed their three Dragons.

Social functions were not her most favorite activity, so she sighed for a moment before collecting herself together.

"Well unfortunately I must take my leave, but it was nice meeting you all." She tended to slink away from any scenario most of the time, and she them gave one last nod before grabbing Syclla and racing off to her work place.

She had more reading to do, and she couldn't waste time now by chatting away! Scylla was not happy with the decision, but she would perk up again as they walked away.

"Well, it would seem to me that I'd still be within the destruction limit for the week. Your notes should count as one object, leaving me with one more in my allowance before you should really be on my case..."

Ix grinned, eyes lighting with the possibilities. Usually any explosions or destruction involving him had to do with failed experiments.

...Usually. It wasn't always the case though.

Yes, in this particular friendship Ix was certainly the child...despite the age differences of the two roommates. He had a fondness for playing with any object that came into contact with him, and he definitly didn't think through all the consequences.

"er...bye then?"

Ix raised a hand to wave, even as the other wizard raced off. Hey, at least he had tried, right?

Raelan gave another cursory bow to the young lady as she left, but then turned his attention back to his friend. The lack of returning acknowledgement from the other one was quickly noted. If some whelp from a lesser house insisted on wandering around with her nose in the air, she would run into something eventually whether he stepped in or not. Raelan wouldn't need to be anything but coldly courteous.

"Ix, it's only Sunday." The little wizard's tone was thick with exasperation, and his shoulders slumped. "You'll be hard pressed to keep within your limit once Saturday rolls around."

He sighed. After knowing Ix for as long as he had, the young nobleman wouldn't be surprised if Ix filled his quota that very evening.

If you're going through Hell,
Keep on going.
Run into something? Why yes, probably. But it was that very acknowledgment that usually kept her from such a fate. Nose in the air meant eyes on the sky, the place from which some of the worst tribulations spawned. Besides, even if that happened....Rae was well within her sights, regardless. His height made that easy enough.

She listened to the continuing exchange between the two wizards with mild curiosity, before taking note of the fluttering sound beside her ear. Glancing to her side only slightly, Vlasia saw Stolz trying his hardest to get those little wings to cooperate with him. The image made her smile. It wasn't too uncommon for some dragons to be able to fly rather soon after hatching, and it seemed as if the red and white creature was determined to be among that number. And he seemed to have his little blue eyes on the two dragons currently on Ix' shoulders.

Suddenly, the little guy made a little leap, pumping his wings, and took to the air. Mind you, it was a wobbly, barely-sustained flight....but somehow, Stolz fought against gravity all the way to Raelan's shoulder.

.....you would have thought that he just discovered a new continent.

The little dragon belted out a croon as loud as his lungs would allow, flicking his tail back and forth and strutting from one side of Raelan's shoulder to the other. He made sure to get Estuary's and Valeo's attention, holding his wings out as if to display their strength.

Vlasia could not help but be both proud, and incredibly amused.

"Apologies, Raelan." she stated, smiling as Stolz made his display. It had already occurred that he might not exactly appreciate what the hatchling had done. "I suppose he's figured out that his wings work, and you were the landing pad."

You might get out before the Devil even knows you're there.

"Buh?!"

Ix let out a frustrated whine when he realized the fatal flaw in his arguement. Crud...he had been so wrapped up in today's experiments that he had managed to forget exactly what day it was.

"....Awww come on! You just put in that limit...can't I get some leniency this week?!"

The green haired one looked rather distraught, and most likely would have been flailing at this point if it wasn't for the two dragons perched on his body. The frustration was only temporary however, as the hatchlings antics quickly changed his mood.

"Heh, look at that Rae, the little guy likes ya! Now be nice and don't rant about your silk..."

Estuary chirped and flapped his fins, showing his support of the hatchling. He might not approve of the proud display the little one was putting on, but...well it was a rather big feat for such a little dragon.

"Not at all, dragons do as they will before they are trained," Raelan said in a dismissive tone. Unfortunately that tone also seemed to suggest he doubted the dragon's owner would be capable of such training, but it was too thinly veiled for the little nobleman to be called on it. Only someone who was really paying attention would even notice.

He reached one hand up to scratch the dragon's chin, praise enough for it's accomplishment, before turning back to Ix. "My silks are fine. I wear the coat for a reason. And technically I should ask you not to destroy any of my things, but I do know that would be just too much to ask of you."

Valeo whined and hopped back to his wizard's shoulder, the one opposite from where the hatching was currently perched, and nuzzled Raelan's neck for some affection. He was not given to jealousy, but he did like a good scratch when his wizard seemed inclined to give them out.

If you're going through Hell,
Keep on going.
He had a point. Now, if only some owners were as well trained as their dragons....

She held her tongue. No point in causing unneeded conflict.

Vlasia watched both of the other wizards, taking in their continuing conversation about how Ix destroyed things. Interesting as it was, she would probably take her leave soon. The red-eyed girl had things that she must accomplish, and more stimulating places to be. For now, though, she would stay - Stolz seemed to be enjoying himself, after all.

Speaking of the red-and-white creature, Vlasia wondered how he planned on getting back to her. It seemed to be the last thing on his mind, currently. After finishing his display Stolz moved half-way across Rae's shoulder, twittering softly to the other dragon in hopes of grabbing his attention. Wanted to be social, he did.

"Indeed, too much to ask...besides, what fun would it be to behave in our place? It's much more fun, and exciting, to have things exploding...dontcha think? It keeps you on your toes at least."

Ix grinned and fell silent at that. He knew that even if Rae didn't agree with him, the younger wizard would never throw him out. He likely wouldn't admit it, but things would be very boring without the chaotic one around.

Raelan idly rubbed his own dragon's head this time. The little creature purred for the duration of the petting, and then peeked around his wizard's neck to look at what must have been his newest friend. With an almost giggling chatter, he turned around and wagged his tail. After all, he liked going after Estuary's tail, so the nicest thing he could do for his new friend was to offer it a bit of fun too.

Of course, the dragon's owner seemed to pay no mind to his pet's antics.

"Fun is not what is important here," the little wizard said with a huff. Sometimes he could be stuffier than an eighty year old scholar, and his youth just made it all the more evident. "I would think that my important notes are not worth sacrificing for your few minutes of... excitement. Please blow up your own notes if you deem it necessary for your amusement."

If you're going through Hell,

Stolz blinked at the waving tail. It was...calling to him. It wanted him to play with it. Gurgling with delight, the little dragon snapped gently at the tail, rearing back before attempting to pounce on it from around the neck. T'was difficult to do, but..well, he didn't fall off. That was an accomplishment. Twittering and flapping his wings, Stolz soon twirled around and copied Valeo's movements, inviting him to play with his tail. Seemed only polite.

Vlasia, smiling lightly at her dragon, decided to input a little of her own thoughts. Could be interesting. "I suspect that Ix may be well aware that he'll have to recopy his notes by himself should they be destroyed, while you'll have someone else do it. Or, he just likes destroying whatever is closest to him at the time."

"Vlasia has a point there Rae. Why destroy my things when I know yours get fixed? Besides you wouldn't react quite as much if it were my things blowing up..."

Ix smirked and reached up to pat Estuary. The water dragon had curled up on his owner's head to watch the antics of his fellow dragons.

Valeo baited the little dragon for a bit, and delightedly pounced on the offered tail. Like the other dragon he seemed to have no regard for the precarious perch on Raelan's shoulder as he gurgled happily.

It must have been a sight to see the young boy keep his focus despite the dragons romping around his shoulders, his scowl towards the other two remained firmly fixed. It was an amazing feat, but there was a reason he was granted acceptance into the Order at such a young age.

"That is not the point, it is a complete waste to need to fix something that started out perfectly fine the first time. Regardless of who copies out the notes."

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Only a need for advice regarding her newly hatched dragon could have torn Regi from her studies. Cradling Treyna's tiny body in her arms, the strange looking female hurried towards the sound of voices. With any luck, they'd pay no mind to her strange ears or eyes and only focus on the dragon.

Moving more quickly, for Treyna had begun to shrill, Regi could only hope that it was hunger causing him to protest and not an aversion to other beings.

"Every act of creation is first an act of destruction." Vlasia retorted quietly, pulling from her rather vast store of the wise words of past wizards. That one...she could not recall the exact name of who said it. Great man, though. A discoverer and an inventor...like Ix, it seemed.

Vlasia's burgundy eyes swiveled to watch an approaching woman, pushing the shock of white in her hair back as she did so. She seemed troubled, this woman. The dragon in her arms was crying out for some...odd reason. Feeling rather social, she called out. She looked strange - beautiful, but strange - but even the strange needed help sometimes.

"You, there.....is everything alright?"

Allowing herself a slight smile, Regi tucked a strand of hair behind one of her elongated and tufted ears. Approaching the girl who'd spoken, she held Treyna out with only a hint of reluctance.

"To be frank, I'm not at all sure. He just started this crying. I don't know if it's hunger or somethign worse or if he just enjoys making that noise."

She winced slightly as Treyna's cries went up an octave and forced herself to chuckle weakly.

(( and for those curious as to Regi's appearance in general... Regina Jerill))
