What scares me most is the whole:

They were seriously going to devise a whole Maiko rebellion us, Zutarians! DX But we will not falter!
Also, someone on DeviArt went to SDCC and had a Zutara shirt on, and got something signed by someone on the staff of Avatar. He looked at her shirt and said, "You like Zutara? You know it'll never happen, right?"
And she said, "Yeah, it will. In the internet, it will." Something like that.

Let's just hope things work out in the end. ^_^ And I hope Toph will be a big part in the 3rd season since in the season 3 trailer, she was barley in it. They give her no justice!

Seriously why would they give away shiping pairs.
Im actually glad it was maiko not zutara because why would they give away the final pairs, it give zutara like 25 % more chance.

Fire Princess Azula
That Maiko clip sent every Zutarian to their posts, I swear!
I for one believe and hope, that Zuko is being blackmailed by Azula to do this mess. In the promo trailer when he told Iroh that he could've been a hero if he had joined them got me thinking. What if Azula and/or Mai were telling him that if he didn't comply, Iroh would get "it".
Ah, the possibilities.
What kept me going was the little temper tantrum that Katara threw. When she yelled,"I would never turn my back on people who need me!" I automatically thought, "Zuko?!" So I'm hoping they have another interaction between them and Zuko realizes that what he's doing is wrong.
Because sad to say, it sounds like he really believes that he's doing what he thinks is "right". He took the only chance he had to regain his honor. Let's just hope I'm wrong and he did it to find out another way to overthrow his father's plans ... all that character development he went through would've gone down the drain.
If Zutara doesn't prevail as canon, we'll always have fanon. ):

Oh I really really hope so.If zutara dosn't happent I'll be...very mad evil or very sad crying I'm not sure yet.The first time I saw the avatar season 3 preview I didn't think when katara said she's never turn her back on people who need her,I didn't think zutara,but then I heard about it being something like zutara in the guild,and I watched it again and it did seem like she was talking about zuko,but zuko dosn't think he needs katara...even if he did he wouldn't admit it.

Zuko drapes a hood over his head;is he leaving to do something?Or is he leaving Fire Nation side like mommy?
Katara's speech,"I will never, ever,turn my back on the people who need me!" Can you guess who was she saying that too?
Also,Mai's a high class civilian,so Ozai could've arranged them as a marrying couple and Zuko wants to run away from it,lmao.
And I highly doubt that a long relationship pairing would be featured on the first few seconds of a sneak peek trailer.
It's also possible that it is a red herring.Trying to throw us off from something important,perhaps?
Don't count your chickens yet,Maiko and Kataangers! scream PS If there's a possibility that Zutara doesn't happen,we can always crush the opposition with tremendous amounts of fanart and fanfiction.Screw canon,Zutara will always be the greatest ship no matter what > >;

Personally, I say let them kiss.
If anyone else has noticed, something bad always happens to the girl that kisses the boy full on the mouth.
Yue: Died and became the moon spirit
Suki: Attacked by a psychotic firebending witch (whereabouts unknown)
Jin: Never seen again (thankfully)
Most of these occurences were tragic indeed, but they all have something in common. One of the guys on Avatar got kissed by them. Coincidence?
I think not.
By the way, has anyone seen an actual couple on Avatar? One without any inconviencies (death for example)

I can't think of any 'canon' couples that don't have inconveniences, unless you count Kataang. Though, Aang having to let go of earthly attachments may be an inconvenience.
