"Straight to the jungle front." No where to specific. Setsumi smiled to the pixie kitsu and turned back to the direction they were walking. She wasn't lying when she told the others the destination, or her reasoning. But even now, just glancing at the change of terrain some distance away, made her nervous. Her mind was set, but worrying over the others brought no closer. It was just a vacation.
Didn't he just say the jungle? Eh. Ronan rolled his shoulders with a pop. "Lead the way then, Callisto." White eyes took in the vast sea of soft grass. Even the wind carressed it in motions similiar to water. This was a nice place to relax. Too bad they already did such an act at the beach.

The crimson female would not mind relaxing even more. Especially with Edward. Though this was supposed to be an adventure of sorts, was it not? But she smiled over the waving grasses. They could always come here again later. Traveling this way, or by the ease of Apparating, she and Edward could easily return... on their own...
The golden tips of her ears darkened until they seemed the same color as the majority of her fur as Liliana's face burned with the direction her thoughts had taken. White and gold tails flicked back and forth behind her in a fanning motion & very subtly she lifted her brown wings to let the cool sea breeze between wings & back. "Shall we continue then?"

Lilianna sure was blushing a lot lately... Edward could only guess what she was thinking about. He had a pretty good idea though. Aheh. Anyway..
"Okay! This way!" the pixie then lifted into the air, his tiny wings fluttering rapidly as he zipped through the air and past them in the direction of the jungle. Although he knew to make sure not to lose them as they might not be able to keep up with his flight.
A nudge was given to Lily and a smile, before Edward got to his own paws and padded after Callisto.

Setsumi gave a flicker of a glance to Lily, before turning to the hyped pixie. Wow, had she flustered that much herself? A short giggle whispered her throat, changing such thoughts started by the giddy winged female. She stood and followed along with the others, in no rush at all. It'd be nice to see some new things.
Ronan gave a smirk, torn between amusement and bickering about following the youth. No matter, so long as they got to explore. And so he tagged along with a hop to his step.

If Liliana only knew that her traveling companions had followed even remotely her train of thought, or even suspected it, she would be more than embarrassed. But she was young and in love and... well she was her parents' daughter as she was finding out, and though she had thought little of it the household in which she had grown up was a very expressive environment. Which all played a bit of influence, though none as much as her own personal reactions to the young alchemist.
How much simpler the smallest things were before she had been made aware!
Liliana jumped slightly at the nudge, returned the smile with a silent giggle at her own reaction and padded with the rest of them. ...well worth the wait, it will be...

Callisto zipped along through the field, his tiny wings carrying at quite a speed. Every now and then he would stop and wait for the others to catch up before continuing. The terrain starting to change as they drew closer to the jungle. Becoming more lush with more shrubs and colorful foliage. The trees rising taller on the horizon as they neared.
Eventually they reached the edge of the jungle where a sparse scattering of trees stood, but it was visibly thicker and darker the further in. Callisto stat on a nearby stump, looking proud of himself. "Here we are! This is the jungle!" After expending all that energy, the little Pixie felt compelled with hunger and flitted over to a group of flowers where he sipped at their nectar.
Edward was winded by the time they reached the jungle, the fullmetal teen panting a little at the rigorous pace the Pixie had led them at. However, he wasn't completely exhausted and seemed to be fine. Although it would have been easier if he could make use of his wings. Golden eyes eventually turned upward to look at the looming trees of the jungle beyond. "Wow..." he said quietly, not having seen anything quite like this before. An untouched tropical forest.

"Geez, he's fast for a little guy!" To the point were Ronan had to bound forward every now and then. The male hardly took notice to the changing terrain, too busy just enjoying the pace. So wound up was he, that when moments of pause came, he'd challenge the fullmetal to a game of chase your tails. Heh, for one who didn't tolerate young, he had his moments. The trees drew nearer, and it wasn't long before the stood on the edge of the deep and lush environment. "Haven't seen this place in such a time." White eyes turned up to take in the talk trees decorated with flowers and vines.
Setsumi kept a calm pace, just fast enough to keep together. Her thoughts swayed as quietly as the meadow grass, keeping her occupied through the long walk. This felt so much like before, when traveling was a daily goal in her life. Purple paws remembered the feel of the ground as it became more populated with a variety of plants. The jungle. The female slowed her pace as they reached their destination; or at least hers. Her expression held awe as her eyes took in the place of her origins. "Heh, it's nice to be back."

When the pace quickened at first Liliana tried to match it. But it was no good. she simply was not that physically fit yet. So she dropped back to a more comfortable run, giving her time to watch and giggle a little bit at the males. As it was, Liliana was still a bit winded when they arrived but almost comfortably so. Just breathing heavily.
And she was smiling. Even as she took in the sight of the jungle up close for the first time and her green eyes went wide. She blinked, giving an impressive shudder. Not from fear but from awe. "Goodness... I bet Amaryllis would love this."

Edward was more than willing to take up the challenge of Ronan's game! ... And try his best to beat the proverbial pants off him if he could. However, now that they were before the jungle... Edward wondered what was coming next, while hearing Setsumi's words. "How long has it been?" he asked. He wondered why she even left in the first place. He know what it was like to be homesick all too well.
Callist blinked and tiltedhis head, "You lived here?" he asked. Not having seen any trace of kitsu that looked even close to Setsumi before.

Hah! Darn kid was winning. Must be to his small size.......allowed for tight turns. Ronan snickered to himself as he craned his neck back down from the tree tops. His ears perked high at Ed's question, in a sort of denial in how long it had actually been. "Let's just say we were your size, eh." And by that he just meant teens. Man, that had been ages ago!
Setsumi blinked as she turned slowly to Lily. "Amaryllis?" Another nature lover, to the extreme of plowing about in a jungle? Her attention turned to the three males, giving a bashful grin to the curiousity. "That's true. I was born here, staying till I bumped into Ronan." Her own gazed turned curiously to the little pixie. "Don't any others rest about here?" Surely some type of kitsusagi's traveled out and around.

Why was it every place they wandered left Liliana feeling totally out of her element? Right. Because she was in the elements. "Well... the plants anyway... " The winged female murmured softly. "Amaryllis would like to see the plants..."
Green eyes surveyed the lush jungle with a trace of fear fueled by the unknown. "Why did you leave? Why not stay here?"

Ed saw this as an opportunity and grinned slyly at Ronan, "Ha! Then you must be ancient!" ... Yes feel free to slap him. He was practicly asking for it with that comment. His ears then perked at Lilianna's question... which was a good one. He also had to wonder about that.
Callisto shook his head, "Nope! I don't see much of anyone around here. Not even very many Pixies."

Ronan allowed a smirk to form at the kid's remark. Better control of his temper at least....no more silly flailing. "Oh well. With wisdom comes power, as they say." But those after power usually met a bad fate. Thus his somewhat lazy lifestyle. His brows lifted in amusement at the questions about the jungle. Sounds like a brief story time. Ehh. Blinking, Ronan took in the jungle front, finding some trees familiar despite their age.
An unconcerned shrug was given by Setsumi. Enough time had passed were this topic wasn't touchy anymore. "Like Callisto said, this jungle still seems deserted. After meeting Ronan," and her colorful friend grinned giving a peace sign, "we trekked around for my own parents." Obviously, that had been a fruitless quest. Her ears twisted slightly, and she smiled while turning to the others. "But it is good to see home."

A soft look of sympathy filled Liliana's eyes, perhaps of some guilt too. She knew her parents... could see them whenever she wanted. It was something she so often took for granted...
Her gaze drifted the way they had come. At least Endless has found his mother... The thought did not take the bite out of that guilt, that sorrow. She hoped he was well. And she would not seek comfort for this particular hurt in her mate's touch. It would not be right. Besides... she would rather touch Edward for themselves. "Does knowledge ever become wisdom, I wonder?"
Liliana could not imagine herself as wise, though she hoped someday she would be. Softly she turned and smiled at Setsumi. "I can imagine, now. Times before I have missed home, but never as long as this and never so much."

Edward's ears pinned back as the conversation somewhat struck a chord in him as well. Home... he didn't really have much of a home to speak of. The closest thing being Trelweny's house... but it really wasn't his own. 'Home'... was a different world for him, one that he tried to forget, and yet longed for.
As far as parents... Edward didn't have any real ones to speak of in this life. But you could say he was use to it.. if one could be use to such a thing. His past life hadn't been much different with the death of his mother and his father never being around.
The alchemist was thoughtful, "I think wisdom comes with experience" he said quietly. Experience being different from the knowledge you read in books and so forth. "You could know many facts about alchemy or anything else. But even those with great knowledge and power, aren't nessecarily wise."
Callisto just watched with curious blinking eyes. These Kitsusagi were a strange bunch for sure.
