Atropos Kay Mameha from Memoirs of a Geisha had three abortions (or at least aborted three "children") in the book (they cut it out of the movie), but I'm not really sure that was her choice alone. She was a geisha, her danna was pretty demanding and the one who paid her bills, and she did go to pray for them often. Either way, I think her story would make a good addition. Well, if my memory serves me, she later on expresses gratitute over the fact that her danna doesn't wants children, so I don't think she was exacly all "OMG I should have kept them ;__;" over it.

British/Australian television series "Tenko" about women in a Japanese prison camp during WWII. One character, Dorothy, is pregnant by a guard (consensual sex) and and the other women in the camp arrange for her to abort the fetus. The date of the time frame in the series is Jan. 15, 1943. As far as I can tell, this was first shown in November of 1982.

Breathe (2 AM) by Anna Nalick
"2 AM and she calls me 'cause I'm still awake, "Can you help me unravel my latest mistake?, I don't love him. Winter just wasn't my season" Yeah we walk through the doors, so accusing their eyes Like they have any right at all to criticize, Hypocrites. You're all here for the very same reason"
Not quite sure if this actually is, but it sounds like the person listed is a woman who's having to get an abortion. That's how I hear it. A sort of view about how even when they're surrounded by those getting abortions, some might be looked down upon.

I thought that it was either about abortion, or a divorce. Either way a really good passage.
I dunno if this counts or not but, Marilyn Manson did a song addressing the abortion doctor, Dr. Gunn, who was murdered by Pro-Life activists.
"Get Your Gunn"
Pseudo-morals work real well On the talk shows for the weak But your selective judgements And goodguy badges Don't mean a ******** to me I throw a little fit I slit my teenage wrist The most that I can learn Is in records that you burn Get your gunn, get your gunn Get your gunn, get your gunn Pseudo-morals work real well On the talk shows for the weak But your selective judgements And goodguy badges Don't mean a ******** to me I am the vhs Record me with your fist You want me to save the world I'm just a little girl Pseudo-morals work real well On the talk shows for the weak But your selective judgements And goodguy badges Don't mean a ******** to me Get your gunn, get your gunn Get your gunn, get your gunn...get
I normally don't like Marilyn Manson's stuff but I like this song a lot.. the Gunn means it is about abortion but specifically about how unfair it is to force your own morals and ethics on other people.
"You want me to save the world, I'm just a little girl."
I love that part.
