I adore ItaSaku, but I only like the CRACK aspect of it.
I don't want it to become cannon in the series.
But if we're going to go into cannon evidence it wouldn't happen, Sakura probably hates Itachi as much, if not slightly more, for hurting Sasuke. Sakura's not heartless, and it's not in her character to do things like that out of malice.
Mmm. This is just repeating what everyone else said, isn't it? -_-;

well i can tell i wouldnt happen but, if it were to
sasuke i know has a secret bond for sakura and inside really cares for her, so i think that he would want to kill his brother more

i think if sakura is going to get married at all it's going to be sasuke.Cause your first love never dies.so her feeling's for sasuke will never change.She will always love him not matter what

gonk Theres not really that much of a chance. Itachi doesn't seem to interested in,"Teh love lifez." and Sakura isn't one to take revenge,especialy like that. No one has obvious evidence of Sasuke caring for her more than a friend. So we can't be too sure he'd be,"Jealous" per se.
THOUGH WE CAN FIND STRONG HINTS D<
I can see Sasuke getting hurt that one of his close friends ran off with his brother. D:

i can see how it would happen itachi could use her or somthing sasuke gets hurt itachi would just rubb it in his face till saske finally did what itachi is been telling him to he will loath him just like he wants him to

If Kishi was to make Sakura marry someone in the series, and that person has to be Itachi, I'd like literally pull my hair out. It doesn't seem logical. Out of anyone, it'd be Itachi. I think Kishi will have to go through Sasuke first. This Mr. Uchiha would not let that happen! xDD
I'd would turn out to be like this ---> burning_eyes LOL, since how so often we talk about restorying the Uchiha clan, and who would be better suited than the pink kunoichi. Wrong Uchiha! xD
This thread, however, makes me think of....If Sasuke returns, but it wouldn't be until a few or a couple of years, and Sakura, then, is married to someone else, how would Sasuke react to that? I'm liking this idea...A ffic would be so great... xp

More things that would probably keep Sakura from marrying Itachi.
>Itachi killed his whole clan, except Sasuke. Why would Sakura marry the man that killed his whole family? I know he has his reasons, and that someone can turn from their wrong decisions but it doesn't really look like he's turning any time soon....
>Maybe one of the only reasons he would want to kidnap Sakura was to heal his eyes. They are detoriorating, soon he may go blind. (unless he is already blind >< i haven't been following the manga gonk )

The angst would probably be too much for the series to handle. Sasuke's pain, grief and sense of betrayal would probably cause it to implode.
I really doubt that this would ever happen, but the potential for a crack fanfic is great 8D; You'd have the love triangle - Sasuke passionately in love with Sakura, Sakura with her feelings for Sasuke intact, and Itachi wrestling with his love for Sakura over her happiness. You'd have moonlight visits, forbidden kisses, love letters, and that would be only Sasuke and Itac-SHOTDEAD-
Saskue would end up with Sakura, and before Sasuke could kill his brother, he would merge into the shadows once more...

I think he would be sorta jealous and hate Itachi even more than ever. But then again, Sakura marring Itacji is sorta really weird and funny to think about.

If Sakura married Itachi(which is highly unlikely)Sasuke would feel betrayed and will want to kill Itachi more than ever,will stop trusting anyone,and will never fall in love again(most likely anyway).

If Sakura married Itachi(extremely unlikely) then Sasuke would probably kill Itachi then Sakura then himself out of depression because he killed hid only love(lets hope none of this will happen)

That would be strange for me personally. As for Sasuke, I’m hoping he’s become jealous. The only down side to this is Sasuke would want to kill Itachi even more, and I think Itachi is a really cool character….
