Trough it was late, Tori was protesting quite loudly against sleeping. No, no sleep, he wanted to see more of his mom's pretty things !

Which resulted in quite the screamfest.

"Shhh, calm, calllmmmm.... I swear I have a knack for getting the norturnal ones..." Zero mumbled a little, craddeling the quail boy in her arms. "Calm down, sweetie..."

But nothing would do.... so instead she sat, and started to hum, finally evolving into singing. It seemed to work quite well, as it at least made Tori stop screaming.

"There." She smilled, poking her little nose. "Im naming my first gray hair after you, little one." She smilled, trough she well knew she probabely would never get any of those. Resuming her song, she waited, patiently, until the brown haired boy finally gave up and felt into sleep, leaving a tiny kiss on his forehead before shutting out the light and letting the little boy sleep.

Babysitting is a wierd thing.

Zero usually prefered to leave Nebula to babysit... But visibely she had bailled off with Yoku in some kind of creative manner.

Thus, that only left one choice...

The two babies, well, at least Tori, seemed too facinated by the nature of their current babysitter to cause any kind of mischeif.

And Wren ? Slowly begining to understand her misteress's pain. She had tried to paint with them, but Shiku had made the bright colors = candy calculation and she had to put them away for safety, instead opting for the good old crayola markers, which visibely amused the little genie to being calm and non-fussy, even with the bright sun.

Tori, however, completely refused to leave Wren's lap (and very loudly got his protest across, should she dare try) visibely trying to understand just *what* that giant blue thing that could talk and move was supposed to me, along with all kind of tugging that made the fandangle very, very, very glad that she was metal, and had no hairs. She's seen these two tugging on Zero's hairs. It looked pretty damn painful.

Ahhh, the joys of babysitting. >_>;;; Hopefully she would survive... as Shiku had visibely decided she was a lovely canevas.

Sigh...

"Wen !"

Zero perked, blinking. "Wren's busy, sweetling. She's painting, see ?"

The little quail frowned as he was picked up but his eyes lit up when he saw her in the other room. Wierd robot thing was still there ! And using pretty colors to make pretty pictures.

"Wen ! Wen !!!!" He chimmed, as if cheering the fandangle on, and poor Wren, being so concentred on her painting, had to resist jumping on the celling and sticking there, and Zero had to resist laughing, letting out only a chuckle.

"...I think he likes you." She giggeled again.

"That's a little wierd." Wren shrugged, and was then met with Zero's frown, and knew that was *not* the thing to say.

"It's not wierd at all."

"Not alot of people in here actually gives me any tought..."

"That doesn't make it wierd." Zero mumbeled. "Right, Tori ?"

"Wen no werd."

Nope, the strange person was all pretty and shiny. Not wierd.

Zero smilled a little and, to be freak, Wren did too, trough no one could see.

"You'll be able to babysit the boys again tommorow ?"

"Sure." All the pain of babysitting was, oddly enough, allready forgotten.

Maybe it was why people had children. They made you forget things go wrong every now and then.

I found that Tori is very curious... he really does like Wren alot, I think, because she looks so different. I swear, that boy wants to touch EVERYTHING. We have to really watch over him to make sure he doesn't get hurt...

It's so cute trough. It's wierd, but he reminds me of dad with his curiosity. And he's the first to have his name... It's a wierd coincidence, but...

It makes me smile, for some reason.

Another shot at babysitting for Wren - but only Tori this time. Shiku was with Nebula - who DID get one hell of a talk, as the fandangle tought.

Tori wasn't too hard to babysit - ...he was mostly too concentred on his unnatural babysitter to do anything too dangerous.

"Wen." Tori pulled on her hand a little.

"What it is, Tori ? Want to paint ?"

She took the small baby squeal as a yes - right now, Tori's vocabulary consisted of only "Zewo" and "Wen" - nothing she could quite understand appart who he was trying to get the attention of.

But oh, how misteress was proud like a male peacock when he said her name...

Leaving that tought behind, it was time for the water paints - thank GOD she had asked for those. They where almost empty allready - but the paintbrushes where still brand new and clean. Tori mostly prefered his own fingers to the hassle of holding a paintbrush, applying color everywhere on the white sheet of paper, while Wren watched on and pitched into the masterpiece when the little quail boy asked her to.

Repeat this this a few time, add naptime, and you pretty much have an afternoon of what babysitting him was like.

Tori's becoming ALOT more active since Wren showed him how to paint... He loves it. Hell, I think I've yet to find anything that boy hates, appart loud noises and vegetables.... I've yet to find a creative way to have him EAT those instead of spitting them all over my shirt. Maybe if Wren tried...

...Now that would be an hillarous scene... XD Tempting...

Zero didn't believe a bit from the cherry juice event, trough.

But now she was just laying on her bed, positively LETARGIC. Shiku wasn't much of an exemple himself, curled into a little blue ball at the bottom of the bed and happily snoozing off, in dispice Tori trying to poke him awake, and grumbeling.

"...Too... freaking.... hot." Zero mumbeled. Usually temperature didn't affect her all that much - but all that humidity.... couldn't be good for even a computer, as she noticed when her laptop subbornly refused to adhere to the notion of "you're supposed to boot up when I press on the damn button".

How wonderful.

"Maaaaa." Tori crawled up. "Hot."

"I know..." Zero sighed. "...Let's go get some juice."

Gentely taking both him and Shiku in her arms, she went onward, in a magnificient and long journey, to the kitchen.

Exagerating.... just a tad.

Quote:
"Can't you fly any faster?" Kilah grumbled, nudging the poor griff in the side with her foot. This was much easier than walking, espcially since the chicken Sin'aeis didn't really feel like it, but her recent growth had left her a hell of a lot heavier.

Gizmo snorted, landing infront of the mansion and thanking whatever higher power there was it hadn't taken long to get there. "Wark!"

"Heavy? What's THAT suppose to me?" Her companion said nothing, just stepped back a bit. He hadn't said things Kilah hadn't liked before, now that he knew she actually carried a DAGGER with her, he barely spoke at all. She was crazy, might turn on him or something...

"Nevermind, just wait out here." One hand extended, she found the door soon enough. The thing opened with a rush of air, slamming into the wall. "MIGNON! LYRUS! ARE YOU HERE?"

The answer probabely not be the one she had expected.

"Oi, what the ******** it is with those hugeass places from hell." The girl present muttered, and, from the totally seizure of colors the lady formed, Kilah would probabely be glad she was blind. "And why am I always the one babysitting ? This is sutch a WAD of bs."

Tori gave an audible pout, sitting on the ground nearby, and happily waving a tiny fan around. Part of him was happy, mommy had given him one of those pretty fans ! But Nebula wouldn't stop being all loud...

She wasn't the only one to be loud, trough, and it caught the quail's attention. It sounded familiar.... Yeah, it was ! She wasn't looking for him trough.

"Kilah ?" He answered anyway. Maybe she could take him somewhere where Nebula wouldn't be so loud ?

FAR from what she had expected, and the language stunned her for a second. It wasn't that it bothered her, when she was finally mobile again it seemed to amuse her, but since when did anyone around HERE (aside from her of course) talk like THAT? She didn't recognize the voice, but knew right away they weren't a Sin'aeis.

Sounded too old, and she was the oldest girl (Mignon too, probably, since they always seemed to grow around the same time). "Hey lady, who the hell are you?" No sooner had the question come then she heard someone calling for her.

This one, she DID recognize. "Tori?" Moving carefully toward his voice, she kneeled down infront of him (off to the right a little), and held her hand out. "Hey, quail boy, haven't seen you in a while."

A green ball came swishing in through the main door and it poked around, obviously curious.

"Aiyaaah! My bauble!" squeaked the duck girl as she ran in and practically tripped over Tori.

Instead, she tripped on thin air (don't ask) and went sailing into the kitchen.

".... Oww..."

It put a stop to Nebula's near constant bitching - yes ! When she turned to eye the girl.

"Uh ? Yer one of Tori's friends ?" She blinked, but shrugged her surprise off. "Im Nebula, and im, as always, stuck doing the dumbass things. Like bringing a baby in a place I barely ******** know."

Being polite around children ? What was that.

"Ye." Tori nodded, stopping his fanning motion. Kilah seemed even bigger than she had been since he last saw her... Wow ! "Hawwy."

"Happy, Tori." Nebula rolled her eyes, then watched the kid trip on what seemed to be nothing and slide off. ".....Ohhh..... kay...."

"Feel free to leave, I'll watch the little brat for you." It wasn't that she actually considered Tori a brat, it was just a habbit she'd gotten into. Calling every baby she saw that. It was better than "little b***h", which Noyama had scolded her for. She tolerated her language mostly, but demanded she talk "nicer" to babies.

"Call me a friend if you want, I'm more of a...partner in crime with a lot of us here. Don't worry about it, anyone gets near this kid with bad intentions I stab their ******** eyes out." Saying this, she pulled the interesting-looking black case containing her favorite of the three daggers as proof. Slipping it back into her pocket, her attention returned to Tori.

Grinning broadly, she got back on her feet and brushed herself off. Jeesh, when was the last time Chaco dusted this place? "Take it easy, babies are stupid. They all have trouble talking. He's a lot smarter than most of the idiots who come flocking through here."

Hearing the crash she could only guess was Lore tripping over something or someone, she sighed in a somewhat disgust way. How was it possible for a bird to be like THAT? "Lore!" She said sharply, grinding her teeth together. "Watch where you're going, hm?"

The idiot comments seemed to go right above Tori's head, as if he had a very selective hearing.

Nebula, however, didn't seem to really enjoy, but she knew better than meddle with other things, even less start s**t with a kid that wasn't her own, or at least Zero's.

"Ah, I wish, I get out of this place without him and I get skinned alive." She muttered, seeming about to go check on Lore, but stopped as she came out just fine.

Tori tilted his head in a ratter damn cute manner torward Lore, trough.

"Lo-re ?" He asked, using the name Kilah had just said. Maybe it was the right one !

"That right?" By now, she was somewhat curious as to just who it was who would be 'skinned alive'. "Skinned alive..." Oooh, now THERE was an idea. Putting that in the back of her mind for now, she raised an eyebrow at the duck girl. "Wow what?" She couldn't look THAT different...right?

Hearing Tori, she laughed a little and clapped her hands together approvingly. "Very good, Tori! Smartest boy ever!" Lyrus would've skinned her alive if he'd been around to hear that. "Lore could probably learn things from you."

"Yes, hi!" all of Lorelei's bitter thoughts and awe towards the word idiot and Akilah (respectively) disappeared when she saw the adorable quail boy on the ground, "I'm Lorelei, though you seem to know that already. Are you the single male member of the Fowl Mafia?" She tilted her head into a smile before looking back at the older girl.

"You grew up," Lorelei stated the obvious before breaking into a empty-headed smile, "You look like you could kill someone too. I can't wait to grow up, maybe I'll be able to kill someone too."

Lorelei tried to think of killing someone, but shook her head, "No, nevermind. I couldn't kill someone."

Tori gave this cute little smile, and Nebula rolled her eyes a little, flopping on a chair and concentring on playing on her handheld. Chaos has kicked her a** one time too much, and now was gonna be the showdown of the century, babysitting or NOT.

"Kilah pretty." It all made sence in Tori's head, yepyep. Mafia ? That word seemed familiar. "Yee."

"For not being an idiot you sure act stupid sometimes, Lore," the child grumbled, reaching up and rubbing her head. Talking with her always gave her a headache. "For the last time, and REMEMBER it this time, Lyrus AND Tori are both on our side, and they're both males. You're lucky Lyrus wasn't around to hear you say that." Because that was much worse than what she said, or so she thought.

"Pretty?" Well, that was different. She'd been called a lot of things, 'pretty' wasn't one of them. "Mm, maybe, but it doesn't really matter." Like she cared if she was 'pretty' or not, that was Mignon's department. Her lovely collections of weapons she'd kill you with were what made her 'pretty', thank you. "Anyway, Lore, have you seen Mignon?"

Lorelei tilted her head as if in thought, "Oh yeah... I guess I just get confused because he doesn't have feathers, or a beak or feet or anything..." Lorelei sat down in front of Tori to ponder this, and opened up her hands to collect her bauble as it dropped into her outstretched palms.

Maybe ? No, for sure ! He didn't really protest too much, trough, and just started moving his fan up and down again after giving a tiny, almost unnoticable pout.

Nebula was just a little amazed. How could he be so damn calm NOW and be the screaming terror from hell at 3 in the morning ? Damn.

Tori would normally have been interested into the bauble, but found something much more interesting - Lore's feet. They where all wierd-like !

"Ooo..." He let out, while reaching with his other hand and giving them a gentle poke. They FELT all wierd too !

Lorelei let out a giggle as her webbed feet wiggled a little bit.

"They're webbed! Like a duck's!" she tilted her head to the side, "I'm a duck too! What is your element?"

"It's fine, just don't forget again, alright?" Yawning, Kilah fell back, tucking her arms behind her head and tilting her head to the left so it looked like she was staring at the wall. Had she been able to, she probably would've. There was no doubt Mignon was grown too, even when Lore said she hadn't seen her, it was just a matter of how long until they ran into each other.

For best friends, they sure didn't spend much time together. That'd probably change now that they were bigger.

Hearing the 'ooo', she smirked. "Look, you got his interest." Which was good. All the birds (and Lyrus) needed to get along. Speaking of... "Hey, lady," she called over toward Nebula. "Do you know if Tori's met anyone named Lyrus or Taryn?" She'd heard he knew An already, and was apparently meeting Lore now...

Tori blinked, seemingly a little.... confused by the question. He really... didn't know what the wierd-feeted Lore-lady was talking about.

"....Unno."

Nebula rose an eyebrow. "Hey, do I look like his mommy ? Got no idea." She shrugged. "It's my first time taking him somewhere."

"Actually, lady, I don't know HOW you look. I also don't know who his 'mommy' is." Mommy...ugh. That was one of the most annoying words in the English language, she still thought so. There had been another person with Tori last time, so she assumed that was probably his protector. "I'm blind, for your information, I don't know what anyone looks like."

And she didn't seem at all bothered by that. Probably because she wasn't. Obviously she got around fine, all things considered. "His protector is that other lady then, I take it."

Lorelei reached forward and flicked Tori's feather back.

"I'll have to ask my Ma what kind of feather this is," she mused, choosing to ignore Akilah's arguementive words with the woman who was with Tori.

"You should be proud of the fact that you're a bird, no matter what kind it is," the duck-girl ruffled his brunette hair, her soft voice almost monotone it was so 'out of it', "You have a birthright to join us, one that is not easily given unless you have the blood of a fowl."

The bauble took that moment to bop Lorelei on the back of the head.

"Owww... what, can't I do my epic-speeches without being interrupted?" she pouted.

Blind ? That actually surprised Nebula a little, but not as much as it probabely should have.

"I see. And yeah, that's it." She answered a little absentmindely. "Zero's his... err... protector."

Tori giggeled a little when his black tuff was flicked, and gave Lore a big smile, waving his fan around.

"Actually, I heard Zero say he was a quail."

"Lore's right, squirt." Yes, the great Kilah did agree. Tori had the honor of having her watching him, Lyrus watching him, and the rest of them watching him. But she and Lyrus were the only ones who could (and would) do any damage as far as she knew. "You're a lucky one."

Reaching into her pocket again, she yanked the case back out and snapped it open, carefully taking the dagger out by the handle and stabbing it into the floor beside her. What an...adorable hobby. "Quail, hm?" She knew he was a bird, and that was good enough.

Lorelei felt pride well within her when Akilah approved, something that she started to resent. Why did she look up to this girl so? Why did she hang on every word that she said or look for confirmation. She was a Sin'aeis, just like everyone else. Their last meeting had proved that.

"Worthless....

Lorelei felt a smile flicker over her face. She was glad, at least, that her Chicken-Leader had gotten over that bout of self-doubt.

"A quail, huh? I heard that when they have babies they follow each other and say 'bob white'!" A ditzy smile overtook her features.

"Alright, I'm bored now." In a matter of two seconds, she had her lovely dagger back in the case, and the case back in her pocket. The little mark in the floor was hardly noticeable, not that she'd have known (or cared, probably).

"I'll see you, Lore, Tori." Getting to her feet, she placed a hand on the wall, waving over her shoulder with the other as she returned outside.

"Bye, 'Kilah," said Lorelei as she waved, a gesture of habit. After she had left, Lorelei let out a breath that she had held in and leaned against the wall.

"I wanna be a kid too... though I think I'll be very different from 'Kilah. I wonder why we think so differently, Tori. Is it because I'm a space-case?"

She smiled.

Yukito headed into the mansion from outside, he walked passed someone that looked somewhat like Kilah but he wasn't sure as she was a lot taller then the chicken girl. Maybe he was just seeing things? He shook his head then headed on towards the voices that he heard. Not ones that were familiar to him but he was more then happy to figure out who they were coming from.

"Hello." He greeted when he ran across those the voices belonged too.

Awww, did she have to go ? Trough Tori mimiced Lore and waved, and stayed sillent as the duck spoke, and he titeled his head. It was easy ! Lore couldn't be Kilah because Kilah is Kilah and Lore is Lore ! See, simple !

Instead of this long answer that couldn't be possibely put into baby speak, Tori gave her a big smile.

"Lore nice."

"Awww, thanks!" quacked Lorelei as she happily rolled her bauble from one hand to the other, "Want to play with my bauble?"

"Hello out there!" called Lorelei, even though Yukito was right in front of them, "I have a bad memory, and I don't recall meeting you. I'm Lorelei~! Pleased to meetcha once or for the first time!"

Suddenly, it hit her.

"Wait, weren't you there when I was in the hot springs that were powered by Hell?"

While the two where talking, Tori found his attention snapped by something.

TAIL ! Pretty tail ! Oooo...

Giggeling, he poked it and waited to see if the pretty white boy would do anything. "Twail !"

Yukito looked over at Lorelei then nodded his head, "Hotspring from Hell?" He murmured then laughed and nodded his head, "Yeah. I remember that." He said recognizing her now from that odd day, "It's nice to see you again Lorelei. Ahh. I don't remember if I gave you my name that day so I will now again, I'm called Yukito."

Yukito's tail flicked back and forth a little then it started to wave back and forth over the baby, he had given up on trying to keep his tail from being tugged. Babies liked it so he didn't mind them playing with it anymore. Between all the ones that had attacked it up to now he was quite used to it, "Hello there little guy." He greeted Tori.

"He has special blood," said Lorelei, her eyes once more getting that mysterious gleam that made her look like a complete moron, "The blood..."

She stood up and threw her hands in the air, "OF A BIIIIIIIIIIRD!"

........

She quickly sat back down and smiled, "So, how are you Yukito?"

Ooo, it moved ! Tori kept trying to get a good hold but it slipped each time, trough he seemed careful not to pull on it. He had his tuff pulled once, and that wasn't nice.

"Yu-ki." He said, visibely trying to commit the name to his memory.

Yukito's eyes widened as Lorelei said the first part then gave a little giggle, "Ahh. I see. Sounds neat when you put it that way." He said, it was complete with mysterious eyes and hand gestures so he couldn't help but be impressed, "I am doing quite well myself thank you. And how are you doing?"

The tail flicked back and forth a moment more then stopped moving so that the little bird could get hold of it if he wanted too. Yuki seemed a little happy to hear the little one say his name. He would never get over how fun it was to hear a baby say that.

"I'm doing okay, taking care of my new little sister!" then, she added in a hushed whisper (like it was the most important thing in the world), "She has green skin, you know. Yep!"

Lorelei paused when she heard Tori say his name.

"Wow, he is a smart little kid," she sighed, "I wish I was smart like that..."

But she grinned again, puffing her chest up, "I should teach him something! That way I'll look smart!"

Seizing his moment, Tori took hold of it indeed, looking with bright blue eyes. He hadn't ever seen someone with a tail before ! Whoa ! It felt all wierd too.

"...Ooooooooooo." Tori was impressed, oh yes, but soon remembered his little white fan on the ground and let Yukito's tail free, and went back to grap that instead. He couldn't lose mommy's fan !

Yukito nodded, "That sounds like it would be a good idea. Since your older it would be nice of you to help the little ones along. What will you teach him though?" He asked curiously of the duck girl.

The tail wagged then when Tori abandon it lifted and wrapped around Yukito's waist so that it was out of the way though the end was still swishing about.

"Hmmm..." Lorelei thought of all her knowledge, of lightning bugs and bird blood to ducks and herbs...

"That's it! I'll teach him about herbs!" Lorelei crossed her arms, grinning, "I can identify an herb from a mile away! It's all in the scent." The duckling put a finger to the tip of her nose for emphasis.

"Besides, we don't want him to eat a daisy thinking that it's spearmint."

Tori was still observing it, but pouted when he was picked up by Nebula.

"S'late enough, kiddo." She said. "Say bye, Tori !"

"By-e !"

"Yeah, you got it, kiddo !" Nebula grinned, and they where both gone.

Nebula said that Tori met a few new people.... Hmm. I wonder if he met that blind girl again...

...To which she answers me that she hadn't been giving too much attention. -.-;;; How lovely. She should learn how to be more responsible.

And well.... because of the events.... Well. Tori is amused, VERY amused, that his mother became his father overnight. Why does everyone finds it funny ? Mrrrphh.... It's not funny at all ! And I can't find Adrian ! He had the reflex to crawl off in some hole or something. Mrrrph... How fun.

I should go do something with the boys...

He's so cute with it trough. Ill'd have to see if someone can take a picture. heart My little boy looking all cute and mature with his little fan... awww.

Tori seems to be yearning for something. Perhaps it is for the ability in him to awaken! Well, in order for it to happen, he'll need to gather these things: four dolls that look completely different, a box of crayons, and some paper. He must then spend some time drawing these figures. (the quality of the drawings doesn't matter).

It didn't take to long for Zero to notice something might be up with his little boy.

Tori was sitting on the ground on a blanket, and well... looked perfectly bored. Not even his fan seemed to hold his interest, which was exactly what caught the reploid's eye as something amiss. Closing down the lid on his laptop, he comically flopped on the side of his bed, braid flopping on the ground as he glanced at the quail boy, upside down.

"What's wrong, sunshine ?"

"MMm-mmm. Dwaw."

Blink. "You want to draw something ?"

A little happy squee.

"Okay, then, let's see..." Zero twirled again and wound up on his feet, rumaging his messy desk for paper and crayons, which where found after some digging trough the acheologic site (Zero is not the most organanized person on the planet.)

User Image User Image

He sat nearby, laying the whole in front of him, but there seemed to be... something missing.

Of course ! Lovely subjects to be drawn, it was what was missing. Fearing how much Nebula would kill him if he even dared to follow his original tought, another trip of the ancient site that formed the robot's desk fetched far more willing subjects :

User Image User Image User Image User Image

That seemed to give Tori proper motivation at least, and draw he did - forgetting all about trying to nibble on the wax crayons, much for Zero's relief. He had this most cute expression of concentration on his face as he replicated the models, which made the blue-braided man mentally curse that the pile of random swag known as the desk held no camera. Damn. He always missed those cute little moments !

It took Tori quite awhile to finish with his works of art, but when he was done, he happily handed over the drawings... which quickly found their way on Zero's fridge, and got a few questions for the rest of the inhabitants indeed.

"He was bored."

"Yes."

"Looked like he was missing something."

"Yes."

"So you had him draw some dolls."

Zero rolled his eyes, visibely a little sick of his parental skills being questioned. "Yes."

Nebula facepalmed. "You're crazy."

"You have no room to ditch my parental skills, miss I wasn't paying attention."

"Will you EVER get over that one ? Damnit, Z !"

Tori watched this little argument, sightly miffeled but nowhere was annoyed as he usually was, and this caught Zero's attention.

"Nebula."

"ANDIWASKINDAP- What ?"

"...Wouldn't Tori would have told us in no unmistakeable terms to stfu now ?"

Blink. "...Yeah... you probabely ******** him up."

"SAY THAT IN MY GOD DAMN FACE, NEBULA !!!!!"

One could have sworn the quail boy facepalmed.

"Tooowiiiiii." Shiku muttered sightly, as the other baby was lightly shaking him, trying to awaken his companion so they could play. "Sweep."

"No." Tori shook again, only to be met with indifference and giving up, turning toward Nebula who was, as per usual, playing a game and not giving the two much attention as per usual.

"Towi swleep too." Was the genie's answer, as he turned and curled in a little ball, much like a cat. Why the quail boy didn't understand that he was in fact nocturnal was beyond him, but he visibely didn't want to bother.

...And perhaps this wasn't too bad of an idea, the brown haired child thought, visibely, as he simplely flopped beside his brother. "Pway later."

He was met with sillence, but didn't mind, as he felt asleep as well.

Zero was, for once, home. And back to being a she. And was proving to be able to balance work with a bouncing quail boy.

Tori was happy to be with mama, but was a bit more interested with the fan that was open nearby. However, each time he went to reach it, and thus to eventually fall out of Zero's arm, the reploid gave a gentle bump that setteled him back in place.

The tries and bumps continued, neither seeming perticulary annoyed. Whatever was it that happened with the tiny quail boy was a blessing in Zero's eyes... it meant she could mostly sleep without having her presence requested by ratter loud crying... nice. Or maybe it was just the small desk lamp that had done the trick ? Trough Tori never seemed to fear the dark... The only thing she knew that the boy feared where wasps, bees and the like. Not that she blamed him. Icky stuff.

The little cycle continued on until Tori felt asleep.

And now, Zero was running around much like a mechanical, headless chicken, shorting trough the pile of stuff that she had managed to get in her 2 years on gaia - and some dating from a life long since impossible to go back too.

It was finally happening, she finally was moving herself and her little familly out of this appartment that was always too small, this appartment where no one could get breathing room into anymore.

Oh, she owed Adrian so much, even after all he made her go trough...

But this also meant one hell of a shorting trough the various crap beforehand.

Tori and Shiku looked from the bed, strangely interested as their panicy mother threw various things everywhere, including a tiny teddy plush that the genie caught in mid-air and fluttered off to hide in his crib, much to the humor of the quail boy, who burst out laughing with this cute laugh of his, making Zero tilt her head ratter comicly.

"Anything's funny, sunshine ?"

It only made Tori giggle more, much to the confusion of the reploid, who turned back to her task, unaware of a thing.
