i played recorder, a bit of piano, trumpet, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, harmonica, and i think that's it.

I tried to learn the guitar in third grade, but I totaly blew at it.
I played the tuba for three years and quit that because the people in band treated me like s**t.
Oh, and I have a kazoo.

1.Guitar, i play it in a band- 4 years
2.Bass, i jam with it from time to time- 2 years
3.Drum, experimental band- a year
4.Lead Vocals, Backing Vocals in a band- 5 or 6 years
5.Tuba- a few months lol, picked it up in highschool band class

There are a lot of Trombonists turned Bassist
I played Piano first
recorder (as a lot of us have)
Trombone (for about 8 years now)
Bagpipes (4 years)
Vocals
Percussion
and the Bass is the most recent at two years

Um, started with flute when I was 8 or 9.
Then did french horn and clarinet.
Proceeded to move to the drum line in high school while doing jazz flute. Saw the electric bass in jazz band and fell for it. Packed up the flute, saved my money, got a bass, and haven't looked back.

I tried playing guitar originally, but I couldnt really get the hang of it. I was told bass was easier to start off playing. smile

Before bass I played piano and percussion. I still play these instruments and am starting up on bass still, I'm a major beginner.
