I say the PSP is underrated. It's a great multimedia device, so that you don't have to carry several other little gadets with you. It's sleak and goreous. (first time I was ever vain when it came to my gaming system) And it has great games! But everyone just bitches about the lacking of one analog stick. DS doesn't have one, neither does the gba. Why does the psp get such lashing?! Everytime a game who's brother is on the PS2, critics b***h about the one analog stick. But the games are fine without it!

That's..because most of them are ports. And the best..games on there are two Megaman remixes, Lumines, Wipeout and some PSone ports. That's not much a handheld there. It's a cool multimedia device..but it won't replace my Ipod. Plus...the fact some of the software is just bleh and hard to use. I still would want a PSP in order to put some movies and watch them on the go. But as a gaming device? Nah I rather play the GBA SP....it has games and I can never bored with it. Music? Ipod. Movies? Probably the PSP...the Ipod has too small of a screen.

GTA VCS and LCS..were cool. But..I don't really like GTA games.

EDIT: Somethign I don't get. If they're different games, why are they called ports? I get PaRapper the Rapper is a port, cause it's the same game. but there was never the game 'Daxter' on the ps2. If it's part of the franchise, but isn't the exact same game. Is it still a port? Size Matters was another one, yeah Rachet & Clank is on the PS2 & will be PS3 but is it a port? There was no Rachet & Clank: Size amtters on the ps2. Same with tekken, Medal of Honor... And the Ds has it's share of ports too!

Ports are usually those that are the exact same game just on a different system. And..some extra. If they are a spin off game they are not ports just spin off games. Tekken..well Tekken 5 I call a port upgrade. It has more characters but essentially it is still the same game. DS has some ports but they are not tall ports...I mean I know there are some ports but not as bad the PSP or the GBA for instance. I kind of dislike the PSP because it gets the shovel ware the PS2 has..

Believe it or not, the Wii.

I constantly hear people going on about how it has no good games out now, yet I can name so many (because I have them all)

Excite Truck
Warioware
Red Steel
Call of Duty
Need for speed (meh)
Dragonball Z
Legend of Zelda
Transformers
SSX Blur
Heatseeker
Wii Sports
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
Rampage: Ultimate Destruction

I love these games (except for Carbon)

That's personal prefernce though. My taste in games takes away most of those titles. Though I'm not sure about Rampage. It doesn't ring a bell.
If a person doesn't like certain genres that make up about half of the wii's library then they'll naturally disagree with you saying that the library's crap. However, the ones I didn't scratch off I think would keep me occupied for a suficient time while I waited for Metroid 3, Brawl, Mario Kart and a few other titles.

Overall, I think there are a lot of forgotten games on portable consoles. Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow was a great game, but I have a feeling that a lot of Castlevania fans will never play it because it is on a portable system. Just my thoughts, but there are a lot of handheld masterpieces outside of Pokemon.

That aside, Super Mario Strikers. That game got a lot of negative light because it had no mini games like Mario Tennis or whatever, but the gameplay was so perfect that it made of for everything it was missing -- in my opinion.

However, that edition is actually very good. Not so great for someone who bought the collector's edition for GC, but the control scheme blends perfectly with Resident Evil 4.

I played the original in WalMart once and the gameplay was pitch-perfect. However, from what I understand, it lacked key features in team customization and single player options that have been resolved in the sequel (which I'll be picking up tomorrow!)
