[ The Twitch .Annoyance ] R4!NB0W Bloodgear Well it's not as planned. Let's just say that evil Indeed. No Matt, no Mello, no Near. Huge dissapointment. But I'm still having hope that I'll find that offical Matt picture, though. stare Doubtful but at least it's something new.
That does suck. I was hoping they'd so something atleast... We attack at dawn.. and demand something be done.. D<

Maybe even an OVA of the end and epilogue on one of the dvd release's. It's all guesswork at the moment stressed

Okay skimmed through this.
The cinema scene...wtf. Ihate! all these noncanon bits that are just..strange.
And Light's laugh at the grave does not fit his character! He's secretive, he wouldn't just kill himself laughing while anyone could see him. And wasn't there a sort of respect for L later on, after a scene like that... bleh.
The Yotsuba killings though... nicely done.

And as for the grave-scene. I find it TOTALLY in Raito's character to laugh there. He made sure everyone had left, ne? And he's the type of character to gloat - don't tell me he isn't. He is a stubborn and VERY childish character - so I didn't find it surprising at all. Besides, I had been waiting for such a scene since I thought the manga had left that out a little too easily.
and the Yotsuba killings were perfect.
I loved the Special. In all honesty. And I saw it Live so I had to live through the commercial breaks.
But I guess everyone have different opinions.
But the special shouldn't be compared to the manga - because the extra scenes were just that - extra scenes that NEVER occured, but the director wanted to show the ideas he had. We should be glad about that, not rant on it's un-canonness
(but I wouldn't have minded some Matt - but I hadn't expected it XD)

Fair enough. I skimmed through it and just thought it was out of place. Even if I liked L's little closeness to Light in that scene when he was..standing.. on the seat. Then we also disagree on Light's character. I know he's stubborn and childish but their is a limit to childishness. The grave scene in my mind was a bit OTT. Mamo was perfect and the scene looked great it just is out of place in my mind. Then I found out what he was saying. "I WON" I believe it was but I'm probably wrong. See, I thought at first he was just shouting at L cursing him. The end of the scene in which the smile fades is more Lightish than the babbling. It's not as bad as I made it out to be but I just don't like it. Maybe my thirst for canon just comes from being a manga-purist. After Part 1 was so much like the manga, more or less exact I would have been happy with it in the series. After part 2 these things just annoy me because of all the cuts. I just hope they do a rewrite part 2 and add in the rest of the scenes they cut out. Including most of Matt's scenes!

Captaincarnival Covered-Up Boxers Raito_Kun I get all my anime from this place [link] Wowowow. They have Higurashi. I've been looking everywhere for that! Higurashi is amazing. On my top three list of all-time favorite anime. Though I'm sad that the dub sucks hardcore xd I torrent all my stuff, but hot damn, 3 hours? Hopefully whomever subs it will break it into two parts >.>; I never understood what exactly torrents are. Do you know?
