It's a toss-up between trumpets and percussion.

Most definitely the trumpets, although in recent years we trombones have been giving them a run for their money.

Last year it was the trombones and trumpets, but this year.. the percussionists are getting told to 'be quiet' kind of a lot. It's not our fault the director focuses on the rest of the band too much. crying

The Trombones are the most talky people in my band. BD is always like SHUT UP TROMBONES! and we just end up talking again. I don't know why he just doesn't bring duct tape or something to shut us up with

The clarinets. They never shut-up. Especially this one... sometimes you wonder if she's ever experienced the word, "silence."
It's amazing.

We all talk. You can never tell what section exactly, because its more than one. Except for us flutes. But that's because if we talk, they may shove all 7 of us in the closet...they being the trumpet section, who probably talks the most...last year it was probably the percussion/trumpets, except for one thing, they were hilarious so no one cared. But other than that you can always hear someone mumbling in the background, unless our BD yells at the percussion to shut up, cuz they always talk while we're tuning...

In my band, a lot of different people constantly talk, but theonly ones who get in trouble for it are one trumpet who always sits with the clarinets, and about tghree saxes and one clarient. Me and my friend [flute] talk a lot, but usually it's about music, and either my teacher doesn't care, or he doesn't hear us..
