Lexie smiled and nodded at the request. "Great! I just adore nightclubs! I'd love to go! I mean I was never allowed to go much in the city. Most of those are 21 and over. I sneaked in a few times, which is always much more fun." She giggled, but as she followed his gaze toward the window, she sighed. "Don't worry. I can find it on my own. Just promise me that if I'm sitting alone at lunch you won't leave me there, alright?" She gave him a soft, somewhat forced smile, then looked down at the map on her schedule. "You're going to be turning in that hallway up there. I'm turning here." With another sigh she looked at him for a moment. "I guess I'll see you later." She could feel the worry building up inside of her. She was never really one to make friends this easily...and she hated sitting alone in crowded rooms. But as she turned away to go to her room, something else was building inside as well.
"Oh no...not here! Not now!" She winced and fell to her knees as the burn in her stomach returned. It had gone away for so long. Why now? She clutched her stomach for dear life, but the pain was too intense to move. She had to, though. She had to be hidden. No one could see this. She'd be marked as a freak, a demon. As the pain worsened, she forced herself to her feet and into a run. She ran as fast as she could right past Remi and toward the bathroom, which luckily was clearly marked. It was no use. As the mark on her stomach started to glow with flames, she fell to her knees again, trying her hardest to fight it off. Dream sweet dreams of me tonight

Remi couldn't help but grin, "Alright then! I'll take you sometime!" But then he felt a bit embarrased having a new girl to the school give him directions. Of course, being a senior, he was offered a lot of different classes, so he didn't know what rooms were which, only that he was supposed to be at them. But... Well, we'll just have to see when lunchtime comes around. He smiled meakly at her as she was about to leave, contemplating the lunch issue; his friends would be smothering him at that time. Along with all of the girls he hadn't managed to scare off yet. Even with the few examples only minutes ago he felt like he was in trouble; but at the moment, he didn't feel like causing trouble. If Lexie wanted to sit with him at lunch... why not take the offer? he would've if any other girl had asked him. But now that he wouldn't see her till then, an odd curiosity edged at him, all of wonderings about the girl still there. He was somewhat.. eager for lunchtime. To actually hold a conversation without some girl flicking her hair and fluttering her eyes every moment. Remi put up a hand, smiling like.. well, without any playful attributes. "Alright. See you later then! I'll sit with you at lunch!"
And that's when... she suddenly looked stricken with pain. Hands going to her stomache, falling to her knees and struggling to get up. Remi was there in a second, strongs hands reaching for her shoulders to help her up. "Lexie! Are you alright? What's wrong?" But she was up just as quick, taking off and past him, past the next hallway and around the corner. Remi stood there for a moment, confusion and worry on his face, then took off after her. Only to run into someone first. Remi knocked himself back, his cheek bone hitting a head, putting a hand to the side of his face while cursing to himself.
"Damn it, Rem! What'd you go and do that for?" Remi looked up at the voice. It was a deep and broke voice, with one of those poser slang accents. Someone he least wanted to see right now... he could only glare at his friend. Jonz. Jonz was one of... the worst of the group, one could say. He was a most reckless young man, always either to start or end the trouble, and much more of a rebel than Remi is, much more.. flirtatious, and even known for cheating during his relationships. he was a terrible influence. And following him was Chris. Jonz finally looked up all the way, scruffing his brown, somewhat long and silky hair where Remi hit his head. "Why did you suddenly take off like that? I'm sure you'd seen us! Can't be that surprised!"
Remi was still in shock. Standing between him and where Lexie had run off was his two friends. He could only glare and stare at them, glancing over their shoulders to see if lexie would be there. Finally Chris stepped forward, a blonde figure with a lean and tall body. "Rem, what's wrong, man? You look like you've just see a ghost!" he couldn't help but grin, and Jonz laughed. Remi shot them both a glare.
"Leave me alone right now. I'll see you in class... or something." he didn't even know if he had classes with them. He didn't care. Angrilly, he pushed past them, remembering what lexie had told him about being free. How he loved that word... and how he would choose to follow it. Jonz and Chris stared at him, watching after him with odd looks on their faces. Remi would feel their stares but didn't care. he finally reached the other hallway, looking left and right but... she wasn't anywhere. Which only gave Jonz and Chris time to catch up.

Lexie had fallen for the second time only a foot away from her destination: The girls bathroom. "Why here? What do you want with me? I was doing nothing wrong!" She seemed to be talking, or yelling, to no one. But in truth, she was yelling to the spirit within her. "Why can't you just leave me alone?!"
"Because, Alexa. Your body is my home. If I feel something is wrong, I change it." The feminine voice could only be heard by Lexie, but to her it was all too real. She was sure she looked insane to those around her, but it didn't matter. The pain and confusion pushed the outside world away.
"Leave me alone!" She shouted. The flames finally subsided. Luckily they were hidden by her arms. Now all that was left was a slightly singed shirt and a throbbing head.
Why did this always happen to her. The only reason she had any friends in her old school was because they were the ones who knew about it as children. They stood by her the whole way. But how was she going to explain this to anyone here? How would anyone understand? She sighed and sat up against the wall. A few tears falling here and there from any lingering pain or emotions. "You stupid possessive bird! I wish you would just go away." She sighed again, though. What would Remi think of all this? The way she just ran away like that. "He must think I'm insane...damn this!"

Over to the left, down another hallway, a few girls were beginning to crowd around the girls' bathroom while whispering in each other's ears. They either had confused, worried, or disgusted looks on their faces, but Lexie had ran in that direction--- Maybe that's where she is. But how could she be causing this much commotion? Remi shook his head before quickly stroding over to the area, standing a few feet back as he waiting impatiently for something else to happen. A small edgy feeling started to tug at his heart, until it was happening all around his body, but he held still, shock on his face. The spirit, The Anka, seemed to be... reacting. It wanted to break free, and it wanted to break free now, an element contrast to his own bellowing to be bound together. He took a few steps back until his was standing up against a few lockers, watching the door to the bathroom as if the Anka itself were going to come out.
His head raced, a final conclusion coming into his mind, The Anka... it wouldn't be reacting... unless another spirit was nearby... It had happened once before. When he was little, playing in an open field with a large group of boys soccer, it seemed... that another boy had a spirit. But it was completely different than this feeling. one of the boy's spirits had been a definite creature of Earth; whether it was a Faun, a Dragon, or anything else he couldn't remember. Remi only know that other spirits did dwindle out in the world. For obviously, back in the soccer game, the kid was rivaled against him, against air as an Anka, and eventually beat him down so hard his own spirit grew angry. Remi was forced to hide in the cover of the trees, restraining himself so his enormous self wouldn't be exposed. But.. with Lexie.. it all seemed so impossible.
Maybe that's why he got along with her, saw something different in her. Could it really be true that she was a spirit? Maybe he was just jumping to conclusions, but something was doing something to his own, and with lexie acting so odd, he had to do something. Remi stepped forward, pushing girls and even crowding guys to the side, where Lexie was inside the bathroom. He didn't care what others would do to him for going into the girls' bathroom. Lexie couldn't be embarrassed like this... not on her first day. With courage he hurried inside, saw lexie, his eyes widening. "Lexie? You okay? Look, you gotta get out of here, okay? need some help or anything?" Outside, he could here Jonz and Chris whistling like little boys at what Remi had done, and girls giggling. but he tried to block it out, waiting for Lexie impatiently.

Lexie sat against the far wall of the bathroom, right under the window. She had pushed her way in just moments before Remi had come. The other girls had run out with a mix of fear. She heard someone come in, and looked up with anger in her eyes, ready to push them away. Seeing it was Remi, though, she stood, her arm still over her stomach. The pain had subsided, but the mark was still glowing dimly, as if an ember in a long-dead fire. What had sent the other girls running, though, were her eyes. They were a bright orange, full of fire and heat. She hated that part of it. It meant that the spirit was almost out. Those were the times it was hardest to fight off. Despite all of it. She laughed a softly. She heard his questions, but didn't think to answer them.
"I'm sorry you have to see me like this. That's why I'm always so eager to make friends. I always feel that maybe if they know me before hand...they won't be frightened by this. I'm sorry, Remi...if this scares you. It's not something I've ever wanted anyone to see. And I'm sorry that...that she doesn't trust you." she looked up at him with a soft smile. The spirit had been put to rest...she was back to her old self.
She turned to him fully now, hearing what was going on outside. "This is why I transferred here...the real reason. My parents are fine with each other. They didn't really need to get away from anything. It was me who needed to get away. The only thing that kept me going were my friends. They all knew me as a kid, so they didn't run when they found out. Most of them graduated though. And I had to leave." She walked closer to him, jerking her head toward the door. "You've got more of a reason to leave then I do. You've got a reputation to uphold. Me on the other hand? I'm just the new girl."
This was a completely different side of the girl, and she knew it. It was a side not many people got to see. Mainly because this was how she was when her defenses were down, and her offense weak. It always happened right after an 'episode', when she didn't have the energy to keep her attitude. Dream sweet dreams of me tonight

[Sorry, it's short. >.<]
Remi was almost sure of it now, that Lexie was like.. he was. Well, not entirely sure, but he was pretty close; the way he controlled his spirit was by acting free. Because of what she was? How was she something else other than a normal girl? It was the spirits that mingled with their own, and if someone could never learn to accept that, then maybe they were something else. Remi... hadn't ever told anyone what he was. And he didn't plan to. But lexie... if he was right about her... then maybe she had the right to know. That she wasn't alone, attacked by the spirits. Remi was still surprised no one noticed the differences in his body compared to everyone else's; with his under 100 pound weight, light bones, able to run much longer and harder without ever breathign hard because of his lungs.
But, as she continued to speak, he almost grew sad, and somewhat irriatated; he didn't care about a reputation right now. Those people... Jonz... Chris.. the girls.. it didn't matter at the moment. He felt more free than ever, within such a short amount of time. So who cared about a reputation? He grinned meekly at her, "I'm not scared. I... I think I understand, you know. But---" and suddenly, the bell rang, making him jump slightly. He groaned out of frustration. Why did it have to ring now? Of all times? He held a hand up for Lexie in case she needed help standing. Just to be a gentleman. "Stupid bell..." he muttered, then shook his head. "You know... who cares about a damn reputation right now... it's just going to get me in trouble in the future anyway. Not in the mood, it seems..." he couldn't help but laugh quietly.

Sariel looked down at Fae’s hand as it grasped it’s own, the skin was smoother then his own, warmer it would seem and for another moment he was stunned. “Generations indeed…” Sariel mused as his eyes were observed, the creature within him almost begging to rip something apart now. With a soft sigh he arched his back lightly, feeling another small shift take place in his hands, his nails now digging into his palms. Something about this boy required a certain amount of self control, as if something about him was not all it would seem.
“Since you have lived here so long do you know where I might find room 104?”
He asked somewhat cautiously, his eyes flicking dangerously between the two colors in his spectrum. His attention perked almost immediately as he heard the name of the one next to him, a warm inviting sense of relaxation gracing every muscle in his body.
“I had a sibling named Fae… Funny how I should meet another with such an unusual, pretty name… I am Sariel; you could call me anything really, names after all are of very little importance to me. Simply little habits of human kind…"
He reached slowly into his pocket with one hand and produced a rather worn scratchy pair of black sunglasses, the expression of interest falling slightly as he slipped the glasses over his disobedient eyes. He looked around for a moment and noticed the halls beginning to clear slightly, yet he didn’t really want to leave. Somehow Fae was all to interesting, the way he spoke, and his features were somehow striking. A small whimper of pain pierced through closed lips and with wide eyes Sariel glanced down to his palm, a small trickle of blood now running down his fingers.
((I am so terribly sorry that it took so long for me to respond, my foster parents are not very understanding when it comes to free time.))

[[it's alright. I know mine have been uber short lately too. I've just kinda...lost my inspiration. I'm still looking, so don't worry. I'll find it soon enough and my posts will be up to my normal length again.... So, I think I can forgive you xd ]]
Lexie looked down at her feet for a moment. She wasn't sure what to say in a moment like this. She had to come up with something though. She sighed, figuring it was better to get back to her old self.
"Remi...remember when I thanked you earlier, well...thanks again." She smiled and hugged him, wrapping her arms gently around his neck. "I'm happy to have met a guy like you."
She laughed a little, shaking her head as she moved back. "You know, we're going to be famous around here from now on. Me running into the bathroom and screaming at myself and you...well...running into the girls bathroom." She laughed again, moving toward the door. "C'mon...we're going to be late. What do you have first period?" Dream sweet dreams of me tonight

Charlie looked around her room for anything else she needed. She already knew she was late for school. She was kind of glad though. She took a deep breath and grabbed her backpack and threw it over her left shoulder hitting the door running. She ran down the paved sidewalk until she reached the entrance to the school.
She suddenly stopped cold. She took yet another deep breath. She was so nervous she felt that her heart might pound right out of her chest. She took those daring steps up the stairs and grabbed ahold of the door. She closed her eyes tight and pulled it open. She gasped slightly seeming to expect somthing to jump out at her. She let out a sigh and walked into the school, gently shutting the door behind her. She shifted her steps to the main office looking for the registery. Charlie sighed and slowly approached the desk. "Excuse me. I'm a new student here."
A older woman looked up her from a desk of computer work and papers. "Name please." Charlie blinked a few times. "uh...Charlie...Charlie Hampton" The woman sifted through some papers. "Alright Charlie?...is it..? Sit down over there and fill out this paper work and you'll be ready to go." The woman pulled her glasses down to the tip of her nose and handed them to Charlie gently. "thankyou..." Charlie said softly and gripped them in her right hand. She had two rings. A dark purple jem on her middle finger and a silver band on her thumb. They were both her mother's. Charlie looked around the office for any sign of other students. Aside from some office workers, she didn't see any that interested her. She slowly walked to a small chair and pulled a binder and pen out of her backpack. She crossed her legs like a lady and set the binder gently on them as a table for the papers and slowly started filling out the necessary papers. Charlie often looked up from her paperwork to see some students walking down the halls of the school. Some boys caught her eyes but she reminded herself that she needed to be focused on studies. She took a deep breath as she finished the last page. She stood up and set her binder and pen on the chair as she walked to the front desk once more. "All done honey?" The woman asked. "Yes.." Charlie said softly. She handed her the stack of papers and the woman traded her them for her locker combination. "Now I already called your first period teacher and they know you're new so they will allow you some time to get yourself organized." Charlie smiled slightly and took hold of the small piece of paper. "Thanks again." She said softly as she exited the office and started off down the hall. "hmm.." She gripped her backpack strap in her left hand while saying her locker number out loud. It seemed to help her remember. Or, maybe it would help her get there quicker she thtought. She passed a few classrooms and couldn't help but feel akward with the students looking at her. She took a deep breath and continued to her locker.

Remi was a little nervous when Lexie gave him a hug, tensing up as if it were wrong in some way. Now that the bell had rung, people outside were moaning and complaining, some excited and thrilled. But, all and all, they were getting away, not even caring that Remi was in the girls' bathroom, although he knew he would be in trouble, again. It always seemed to come to him in such a way, trouble did; once this week, maybe even adding to that, he was going to be called to the dean's because of this. But who cares? No one was going to help the new girl out, freaking out and running away into the bathroom. They would just look at her and think she was a freak or something. Hopefully he saved her a little embarrassment by running in there as a guy. He sure hoped so. "Well, you're... welcome, I guess?" He laughed nervously as she pulled away.
Digging his hand into his pocket, Remi pulled out his crinkled schedule, unfolding it carefully so the worn paper wouldn't rip at the effort. He glanced over it quickly, looking for the right area, then groaned, rolling his eyes and dropping his shoulders. "I can't believe it." He muttered quickly, angrily putting the paper back into his pocket, adjusting his backpack again. "They gave me all the boring classes first. I have math right now." Math was one of his worst subjects, and techincally, he was in a lower class. He wouldn't be surprised if he was in a class with a bunch of freshman and sophomores. They would probably make fun of him for being in there as a senior, or else they'd be gossiping about it. maybe even trying to flirt with him. Either way, that wasn't the worst part; it was the fact that it was the teacher, Miss Hatkins. She was one of the cruelest, most strick teachers in the whole school, who assigned so much homework. Remi hated homework.
He sighed, looking at lexie for a few moments, then smiled. "So, you gonna be okay then? Or have another incident before lunch? I'm still sitting wiht you, you know." He started to edge his way out of the bathroom, the embarrassment of him being in there really starting to hit him now. Hopefully lexie would follow. Well of course she will, idiot. She cares about class! he shook his head at himself at being such an airhead. Look at what she does to you! Makes you all flighty! His echoing voice shouted at him like in the movies he watched. But he knew he was just making it up. Besides, he didn't care what Lexie did to him. He definitely didn't want to deal with Jonz and Chris. They'd probably be hiding behind the back school building anyway, causing trouble as they celebrated, or ruined, the first day of school.

Lexie smiled softly and gave a light shrug. She wasn't ok, that was for sure...but she would be. She always was. "Yea. I'm fine. Just a little shaken up I guess. This happens a lot, but..." she paused shaking her head. Her black hair fell into her face. She tucked a few strands behind her ear absentmindedly, missing the majority of it. She seemed to be hiding her eyes behind it. They held something she never let anyone see: fear. Fear of the spirit. Fear of what might happen if she transformed fully. Fear of fire. Of death. Of uncontrollable power. That's what happened when the Phoenix came out.
The Phoenix protected the body she inhabited, and would destroy anything that tried to hurt Lexie, or anyone who wasn't trusted. It had happened once before when Lexie had been younger. The day the truth of what she was came to be. It was a bully in Kindergarten. He had tripped her to get a basketball from her. Lexie didn't even know of the spirit at that time. But when she came loose...Lexie shook her head back to reality, a single tear falling from her eye. Luckily it was also covered by a waterfall of ebony hair. She swore to herself she would never think of that day again
"I have History first, then Math second, then Science third and fourth. Lunch is after that. English sixth and seventh. Then ninth and tenth are free periods." She knew she didn't have to state her whole schedule, and that Remi probably wouldn't care, but it was a way for her to get her mind back on school. "I'm sorry if your friends bother you about this. I know my friends would probably do the same if I was in your situation. But hey...someday, after we've graduated and the world of high school is behind us, this day will have never happened." As they approached her first class. She looked at him with that same playful smirk...the flirtatious smile. She leaned in a bit closer and put her hand gently on his arm. "Well...most of it." She giggled, and moved in even closer, whispering in his ear. "See you at lunch." She moved away then, and with a light wave turned and went into History 105. Dream sweet dreams of me tonight

Remi wasn't sure if they had any classes with together, not about to pull out his schedule again to remind him of first period. But he was dissapointed, and evelasses tat jealous, to hear that she didn't have classes the last two periods; Remi did of course, because of all the things he was always missing. Forced to make up things, he would be there, every day, until the bell rang for the end of Freshman. All the other seniors would be gone already. He was at least hopeing he would get to say goodbye to her at the end of the day. "Ah, well, I guess I'll see you at lunch then!" he smiled, turning into a smirkish grin as she gave him that flirty look. As she took off down the hallway, he stood there, somewhat surprised. But, all at once, the gossip was starting, ready to pound down on him as he started for his home classroom.
Two girls, who had been lingeirng around the bathroom and lockers when lexie had ran inside, passed by again and saw Remi. He recognized the one on the right almost instantly; Kayli. She was now a senior as well, and actually, one of Remi's ex-girlfriends. But unlike most of them, she was persistent, always wanting him back with open arms. Which actually meant constant flirting and jealousy. He sighed as she told her friend to go on to class, quickly hurrying over to Remi with a wide grin on her face, "Hey, Remington!" she came front of him, so close he could smell her cocobut perfume. It actually smelt quite nice, but she was really annoying. He broke up with her two days after they were going out, only because of how annoying, persisten, and jealous she was, wanting every second with him. He wasn't even sure why he went out with her.
"Uh, Hi Kayli. Look, I'm--" Remi was beginning, but she alreayd linked arms with him, beginning to walk towards where her friend went.
"So I saw you go into the girl's bathroom after that new girl." She asked in a quiet voice, but smiled and waved as a boy walked by, obviously trying to make him jealous with her flirtatious jesters. Remi groaned, jerking away from her, to her shocked expression.
"I've got to get to class Kayli." And just like that, he left her, standing there. While Kayli, with her cruel behavior, only clenched her fists and stormed off to class. Remington sighed heavilly as he quickened his pace. This is going to be a looooong year. That much he could already tell.

Lexie sighed as she twirled a pencil in her finger. History. SO boring. Especially on the first day. Senior year was going to be easy...and that was never fun. She rolled her eyes as the teacher introduced himself. He was old and slow. He spoke in a monotone and had a comb-over. Dork. Probably the kid who always got picked on in school. She would have felt bad for the guy...if it wasn't the first day of Senior Year. She put her elbow on the desk and her head in her hand, staring out the window.
She found herself thinking of nothing but what had happened only five or so minutes before. On the first day? This really couldn't get any worse. What if she had to transfer again? On the first day! She sighed, but jumped as the bell rang. She had no idea where the time had gone.
The rest of the day went by just like that. Teachers introduced themselves, handed out the supply list. Told you the rules of the classroom. She felt like she was in first grade again.
As the bell for lunch finally rang she headed to her locker. She never trusted school food. Always brown-bagging it. She finally arrived in the cafeteria. Everyone was staring. She could feel it. They all knew her already and it was obvious word had spread throughout the day. She stood a bit taller as that nervous feeling spread through her. The feeling of being watched, of being judged. She hated it. It made her want to....to burn things. She shook the feeling and found an empty table. She wasn't sure if Remi had arrived or not, but she felt it would be best to look like she was waiting for him. To look like she had a purpose of sitting alone. Her fist was clenched so tightly around the bag that her knuckles were white. She couldn't control the Phoenix, but she could control the fire. It was everything she could to not to toast her lunch. ((Don't worry about it at all. : ) As you can probably tell, I've been having some... issues with getting online as well. : P ))
Oh, he was definitely interesting, that was true. Faelan arched an eyebrow as he looked into Sariel's eyes. He wasn't just human at all, was he? No... Fae's own eyes narrowed a little bit in consideration. He had a beast in him. Fae smiled, though, when Sariel asked for a room. "Yeah, I do. I can show you where it is, if you want to go..." the black haired boy said, his tone implying that it was perfectly acceptable to not want to go, and to go with that desire. The way Sariel's eyes changed, though, was quite odd. Fae had to conclude that those were the only two colours his eyes turned to. What followed from that was that whatever Sariel was, he wasn't what Fae was - which was perfectly acceptable to Fae. Still, maybe he'd appreciate the feeling that he wasn't alone in the world...
Fae stopped his subconscious focus on his eyes, letting them shift as they would. It was kind of a relief, really.
His eyes went a mix of light blue and vermilion, and he smiled wider. It was nice to see his new acquaintance relax a little bit; Fae could see it in how he stood. "Really? That's odd... Was it also short for Faelan?" the younger of the two asked curiously, his eyes starting to tint with violet. His was an unusual name, and Fae had never met another who shared it. Perhaps it was a sign? As the thought struck him, a line of gold struck through both of his eyes.
The violent colour intensified when Sariel mentioned "human kind". It was a habit Fae had trained himself out of, referring to humans as though he weren't a part of them. No, he still didn't feel as though he were a member of the human race, but it had done him no good to advertise that fact... Though with this boy, perhaps it wouldn't be such a bad thing after all. Perhaps he is someone I can be myself around... Fae thought pensively, his eyes turning lavender.
Fae kind of regretted it when Sariel covered his eyes. It was rare he got to see eyes like his own, any like his own at all. Class would start soon, Fae knew, but it wasn't often someone like Sariel came around, and he was far more interested in this other person than in learning things he'd known for years. Fae chewed his lip languidly for a couple seconds, his eyes growing a little paler as he thought. When Sariel whimpered lightly, Fae simply reached into his pocket, withdrew a clean tissue and handed it to the other. No.... not in control yet, I think, the black haired boy thought, turning to gaze into Sariel's now-covered eyes with vermillion-rose eyes of his own. "Wanna get breakfast?" Fae asked simply, his voice not implying nor denying anything. He was simply... curious. Curious, and eager to hear a little more about this boy...

The math teacher was a shroud as ever once Remi got into the classroom, right before the bell had rang. Her eyes were literally on everyone throughout the class as she spoke, introduced herself, and explained what the year would be like. She was obviously trying to figure out who would take what role in the class; the ditchers, talkers, bathroom users, quiet ones, outspoken know-it-alls. All Remi could tell was that there was a lot of snoozers in the class, and he was one of the them. The teacher, many times, had to hit the meter stick against the board, silencing herself until everyone became nervous and started to pay attention again. When the bell had finally rung, everyone jumped out of their seats, eager to get out, except for a freshman girl that went to go and itnroduce herself to the teacher and be class pet. The teacher shooed her away like a fly. As Remi packed his stuff up, he could only laugh, then head out the door and follow everyone.
Luckilly enough, he found he had no classes with Jonz. he had one with Chris, the one right befoe Lunch, but he was just glaring at him all the time while murmuring in low voices to the girls around him when they were supposed to be doing work. Remi, throughout the periods until lunch, would just sit in class, paying no attention to anything, things reeling over and over in his mind. About what happened in the morning, how gossipers were always glancing at him about such events, and when he'd get in trouble for it. Then there was lunchtime coming around, and although he was excited to see Lexie again, he was afraid that someone would try to hurt her in some way. Now that Remi looked back at it, his friends were really cruel. And he had placed among them. Looking back at it, he felt disgusted at himself. I mean, I only hang out with them during the school year anyway... He sighed, watching the clock, the minutes ticking by forever until it finally rang.
Remi gladly left the classroom, hurrying off to the lunchroom. People were crowding everywhere, then leaving to eat someplace outside or maybe at some little cafe' with the money they had from jobs. Walking in, a lot of people glanced at him, but he didn't care. The tables were filling up quickly, his gaze following to every one in turn, until he saw Lexie sitting there alone, with her brought lunch. He grinned to himself, and quickly went over to her, trying not to bump into people on the way. Once finally there, he sat about down in one of the chairs. "Told you I'd see you at lunch." He grinned playfully, with that flirtatious look, deciding he would get lunch when everything died down a bit. "So," he continued, looking at her curiously, "How was your first few classes?" He was hoping she didn't get too much trouble from the social world.
