"It's a pleasure, Lady," Elana smiled, giving Lady Yuna Fang a low nod of the head in respect. She gazed at her dress again, from the many layers of fabric to the decorations. Elana Moure never really cared to wear dresses herself, but enjoyed the thought, beauty, and craftsmenship it took to get one just right. "A beautiful dress, Lady," she mused sighing slightly. SHe thought about the woman's words, never before hearing the word 'harpy'.
"Miss, if I may be so bold as to ask, what is a har--" she stopped at the sudden change, and she sniffed, turning. Alexander Covenant, she reminded herself, the one who invited us all, quite obviously.

Alexander looks at Elana Moure, and smiles at her
"It is also a pleasure seeing you here, I am glad you all could make it safe and sound, is there something I can do for you both? Please, tell me, for I am looking forward to please you all tonight"

"No, I'm alright. Lather, perhaps" she said to the servant, smiling. After all, she had just seen Mr. Covenant descending from the stairs.
Nite walked towards him, realizing he was already talking with two other women. One of them looked slighty familiar, but the other one was a mystery.

Immediately, Alexander feels a familiar presence, and looks at Nite, smiling at her, she motions for her to approach
"I hope you ladies are enjoying this gathering so far, I'd like to introduce a good friend of mine to you"

Elana gave him a small smile, shaking her head. "Oh, no, nothing," she told him, tugging at her glove, keeping earlier nightmares from her mind, "thank you, it is a pleasure to be here," she added.
As the other woman approached, Elana had the thought of stepping back in respect, though decided it wasn't the time. Instead, she nodded at Nite, close to bowing her head. About to introduce herself, she decided against it, more for hearing the woman's name first.

Nite goes to meet them. "Congratulations, Alexander," she said, smiling. "Your party is quite a success. Hopefully I'm not interrupting anything?"

Alexander smiles slightly, shaking his head
"Of course not, Nite, nothing is being interrupted, I'd like to introduce you to Elana Moure and Lady Yuna... Lady Yuna, Elana, this is my good friend, Nite Lewis"
Alexander steps back a little, so the women have the chance to greet each other
"I trust that everything in here is being satisfactory, I also hope you had a pleasant trip, I apologize for letting you all know of this gathering with such little time in advance, but there are some things that you all could sense, so this fathering had to be organized as fast as possible, without risking class in the process"

Lady Yuna bowed at Nite. "It is a pleasure to meet you Nite. My name is Lady Yuna Fang. I am the Prince's Harpy of Spain."
She turned her attention toward Alexander. "It is a wonderful place you have. The music was wonderful. Even though it was at little notice, I must wanted to be out of the country. I am most impressed, indeed."

Alexander bows slightly, smiling
"Of course, there are more guests to arrive, and I hope they can make it safe and sound as soon as possible, it's rather a lovely evening and I'd hate if they couldn't share a lovely moment like this with us, don't you agree? By the way, did you have any difficulties on your journey? Was this residence hard to find?"

ELana nodded once more, staying bowed for a bit longer than before. As she rose, she smiled.
"A pleasure to meet you, Nite," she said. At first, there was the thought she'd seen her before, and Elana didn't refect or ponder the thought. If she had seen Nite before, then it hadn't been for very long.
She listened to Lady Yuna's words, nodding at what she said, agreeing with every word. As they conversed, she took a quick moment to look about the place. Elana Moure heard his question, looking at him for a moment, slowly shaking her head. "No difficulties, no...wasn't hard to find at all..."
((Since I can never keep one avvie for a long time, those who come later can read Gairwin's discription of Elana, seen below. -points-
You may or may not find me in said attire during the roleplay. :3))

"I'm rather pleased to hear you had no difficulties to find my humble residence, you never know, especially in these times in which Slayers seem to be around the corner, but not to worry, this residence is completely safe, nothing happens around it without me knowing first, so rest assured, your safety here is guaranteed"
A servant walks by with a badge and Alexander takes a glass of wine from it
"Have you been served properly?"

Turning away from the fireworks display, Gairwin took a gander at her surroundings. She'd been so enthralled with Raven upon entering the ballroom that she hadn't noticed any of the elegant furnishings adorning the expansive room.
Paintings in extravagant frames hung around the room depicting splendidly dressed people. Servants meandered through the guests offering drinks from the trays they carried. There were many tables with a variety of appetizing hors d'oeuvres around the perimeter of the room.
It was to one of these tables that Gairwin made her way to in hopes of finding something to help settle her nervous stomach. After thanking the servant for her plate of finger foods, she settled down in an ornate chair and eyed the other guests.
There, across the room, three women and a man stood talking. One women had short hair that was an odd ash-gray color. She wore a red dress that was cut high on the thigh, white gloves and what possibly looked like a black tiara. As Gairwin watched, this woman bowed to the others often, suggesting that she might be of a lower class, although it was only speculation on Gairwin's part.
The second woman wore an elaborate black and pink gown with a full skirt. She had long red hair and seemed quite at ease in this posh setting. Gairwin guessed that she attended many high class functions unlike herself and possibly the first woman.
The last woman, also a red-head, though her hair was in an elaborate updo, wore a similar gown as the first woman. It was also red with a slit on one side, she also had a beautiful wrap that looked like the night sky and on her feet were gold sandals that looked like they belonged on a Greek goddesses foot.
Last but not least was the man. His back was to her so she couldn't get a good look at him, but from what she could see he had long black hair and wore black pants and a black jacket with gold trim that looked like it belonged from another century.
There were a few other guests hobnobbing about but her eyes kept traveling back to that particular group.

Lady Yuna smile pleasantly, replying, "Oh yes, more guests, the better to associate within among ourselves. I do agree upon the lovely evening, even though rainfall might have caused travelers not to arrive on time."
She looked at Alexander, into his eyes, "I did had a very long journey to attend, especially with the weather changes comes around. But, I wouldn't miss the world, without attending one of your wonderful parties. I bet it will be the talk of the town."

Azrael had chosen to walk to the Manor of Lord Covenant instead of either taking his car or flying there by means of his powers. His midnight black hair was perfectly combed and set in place, yet had a certain softness to it. The wind made his trenchcoat flutter, revealing the crisp tuxedo he wore. His shoes were immaculately black, despite the mud that surrounded the pathways.
He had worn the Von Helson pins differently, instead of wearing them in conjunction with each other in the middle of his chest, it was to be found as the links in his cuffs. This would be apparent later once his habit of fixing his cuffs and sleeves in the party. His crisp white shirt reflected whatever light that the moon had produced almost blindingly, he well could've been mistaken for a shining ghost or something like that. Then, only then did it begin to drizzle again.
He wondered vaguely if they knew he was coming... Perhaps it would only be Covenant who'd dare to predict his coming.
As it may seem, the Comte (Count) wasn't exactly a regular party guest, even in the most necessary kind of 'parties and balls'. His lack of attendance often earned him the crowd's stolen glances whenever he would care to appear.
Perhaps my rather long introduction is boring you, so let us take a few more minutes off his solemn journey to the Manor, and get to the part when he should enter the Manor.
He hadn't even had the chance to knock before doors mysteriously opened. The tall windows in the reception room reminded him much of his own manor. Despite the storm outside, the Comte remained dry, and although you may notice the slight trail of mud that led up the marble stairs (that would almost at once disappear in the rain), the Comte's shoes were as immaculate as it always had been.
He listened to the young man as he spoke. He noticed young Master Vecna and noticed a strange glow to him. A trail of his peculiar aura followed him, only disappearing once Strauss had already gone up the long staircase three minutes prior.
"Anything I can get you, or would you prefer me to return and ask you later on?" Azrael simply shook his head and replied, "Young man, it is best if you'd simply leave me to my own business." Although upon further reflection, his words may have seemed very disrespectful, but his tone was incredibly polite and would've soon made you forget what he had said earlier, and only let you remember his sophistication and most importantly, the politeness that emanated from every word that came from his mouth
