Kaiki nodded, slightly startled as she rearranged herself into a hang-on-for-dear-life-if-needed position. Once alright, she nodded again. "Um.... I'm ready," she told him in what she hoped was a brave voice.

Kigu got into a sprinters postion and counted down, "Three, two, one!" Before he began to run into the forest. He giggled and yelped and as he jumped over logs and swivered through the trees. He giggled as he ran through a puddle and tried to splash Kaiki, before continuing to run. Soon he broke through the cover of the trees and came upon a large meadow. As he ran through it he disturbed the summer crickets and the new formed butterfly, but he just laughed. He ran towards a hill and up it he went not stopping before he got to the very top. When he did he lay down panting and said, "Isn't it beautiful?" And it was, for on the top of the hill you could just see the whole meadow and large chunks of the forest, where it broke to the unyielding rivers, and where the leaves of the trees became more dense to gobble up as much sun as possible. "This is what you can't find in a glen, this is the world, our world."

Careful not to use her claws for fear of hurting Kigu, Kaiki bounced upon his back as he ran. Her eyes seemed to forget how to blink as they tried to soak in every single sight of this journey. When he came to a stop atop the hill, her lungs seemed to forget how to breathe as she took in the amazing sight before her. Craning her neck in all directions, her wide eyes absorbing everything around her, Kaiki let out a low breathy whisper. "Woooooooooooooowwwww........."

"Its really pretty isn't it? I like coming up here to look at the clouds all the time. It always seems like they are just a little bit closer huh?" He smiled and looked up sky. "I never knew my parents, the well I mean. They raised just long enough for me to be able to eat solid food, and then one day they disappeared. I am not mad at them, and I will not try to find them, but it is nice to know that when I look at the sky, they might be too." Kigu then shook his head and giggled, "But now I have a new friend to keep my company right?" And he looked over his shoulder at Kaiki and licked her nose.

Mesmerized by the changing winds and shifting clouds, Kaiki nodded. She was brought back down to earth by the quick lick and instantly her face was aflame in silver blush. "Um.... yes. I'll be there for you for as long as you want me to....," she mumbled while she fought with herself to tone down the blush. She failed.

Kigu smiled at Kaiki's blush and then stretched. Then he reached over his shoulder and grasped her by her scruff and placed her on the ground. He laughed and rolled in the grass a little then yipped, "WATCH THIS!!!" And he ran right off the top of the hill going at reckless speed down it, then when he thought he gained enough speed he rolled into a ball and tumbled down the rest of the way head first, to land in a pillow of soft heather. He looked back up the hill to see if Kaiki had been watching.

Slightly alarmed, Kaiki scrambled quickly to the top and watched with horror-filled wide eyes as Kigu sped down. When he reached the bottom safely, Kaiki let out a breath she wasn't even aware she had been holding. "Are you alright?" she called down shakily, sinking to the ground.

"Alright?!" Kigu yelled up incredulously. "Of course I'm alright, I meant to do that. It's fun to roll down this hill, and then run back up!" Kigu said and sprinted back up the hill. He ran right to Kaiki stopping just short of her, and licked her between her ears. "Thank you for the concern though!" He said with his lopsided smile.

Face once again aflame with silver blush, Kaiki mumbled something incoherent. A moment or two later, she was able to look up. "It's ...... fun?" she asked timidly, as though searching for the correct word.

"Fun, yep... sure is! It gives you this feeling like you can fly! And if you roll down with me I will carry you back up! Deal?" Kigu said, barely thinking about anything else but Kaiki's silvery cheeks. Is she blushing? Aww, too cute!

Still quite silver in the face, Kaiki nodded slightly. "Um.... okay. I trust you, Kigu," she added after a moment's pause while looking down the slope of the hill.

Kigu nodded and smiled, "Ok, so what you want to do is run strait down the hill, and just when you feel like you are going out of control roll up into a tight ball, and enjoy the ride! Got it?" He said, trying to make sure there was no way she could hurt herself.

Kaiki nodded as he spoke, repeating the directions under her breath. "Run, roll, enjoy. Run, roll, enjoy." After a few moments, she nodded again. "Alright. I think am ready."

Kigu tried not to giggle at how cute Kaiki sounded while trying to remember his instructions. He got it under control but it still came out as a half snort half sneeze. "Ok, I think you are ready now... just... do your best!" Kigu put on the lopsided grin of his again and walked behind Kaiki. He then gave her a little nudge with his nose to get her going, and waited to see what she would do.

Kaiki nodded, and at his nudge, leap into a run. As gravity pulled her down at an amazing speed, she shut her eyes tightly and curled herself into a small, black ball of fuzz. Seconds later, she emerged from a pile of leaves and grasses sputtering and gasping. Trembling ever so slightly, she shook her head from side to side in an attempt to stop the world from turning and churning around her. "W-wow..... T-that was ...... interesting, for sure," she managed to say once the dizziness passed.
