I was soooooo upset over that whole Horcrux thing too! I thought there would be more hunting of the Horcrux than just poking at the pointless mentions of Deathly Hallows. Did it even have a real meaning to the book? (the hallows, I mean) I mean, its great that exists, but there really wasn't any connection...well to me at least...

Hmmm. The cup was supposed to be safe in the Gringotts Vault (it had plenty of spells on it! The vault can only be opened by a Gringotts goblin, who would only open it for Lestrange, and it was placed up high with burning and multiplying spells covering every object inside. So a theif trying to get in would be sucked into a vault with no way out for them, and then be burned and crushed to death by treasures). The tiara...yeah, a little less protected, but Voldemort thought that he was the only person ever to get into the Room of Requirement. He wouldn't have thought that it needed protection, for who else could have been clever enough to even find the room?
His arrogance was his undoing.

I kind of liked the inclusion of the Hallows. If it were only horcruxes, the book would be far too predictable. The only struggles would be in finding and destroying the things, something just about anyone could write. The Hallows put a bit more emotional turmoil and conflict into the book, so the action wouldn't slow down too much. Go through and take all parts including the hallows out, and what's left? A story, yes, but perhaps not quite as deep as one would like.

It was amazing! I hated it but I loved it! It pissed me off that she killed Lupin, Tonks and Fred! Kreater and Molly were awesome!

But it was stilll obvious! How many wizards go through Gringotts and Hogwarts everyday? His other horcruxes were places waayyy out there! The vault didn't have that protection at first did it? I remember reading the Goblin said they upgraded the security a bit. Still the Horcruxes were just obviously placed. After that whole trip to the cave and such I thought finding the Horcruxes would take a bit more imagination

Hogwarts? In Harry's description he said the Room was full of objects from centuries of Hogwarts' students.

The Hallows were ont needed in my opinion. It made everything a lot more confusing....especially his death and coming alive again. WTF?

Harry's death had nothing to do with the Hallows--not his being killed by the Elder Wand, not his using the Resurrection Stone for moral support, not his posessing the Invisibility Cloak. It was all about Voldemort killing his own bit of soul in Harry. I think it would have happened even without the hallows.

But then he wouldn't have survived. Which means now I do see the importance of it. It could have been mentioned in another book though

I actually loved that book. I must admit, the Horcruxes were rushed near the end of the book. I think they should have been spread out throughout the whole novel instead of the end. That way, the Hallows would fit in better.
I'm glad Harry got to talk to Dumbledore and his Parents for one short last time.
I was disappointed with Ron and Hermoine's relationship. It should have been more pronounced, and intense. It was building up throughout the novels. I think there was more tension between them in the fourth book.

Other than those parts, I loved it.

when fred died i read the scene over and over. i instantly closed the book and kind of sat in silence thinking of the movies and books. he was so cheerful and funny and gosh he was everything. these books got me through sooo much and now its all over. there like my friends in a different world.
but when tonks and lupin died and they had a baby and harrys the godfather its like wow but they should have explined further
but seriously how could jk kill lupinANDtonks thats not fair they just started and they were finally happy
crying
i dont want this to be the end
although the horcruxes were rushed and some of the book was spent uselessly but WOW. this is the end =) people will remember potter forever its a name everyone knows...

I thought the reason Harry survived was cause of the magic his mom gave him?

    Nonono! ><;
    Why did Fred die?!
    TxT
The ending is a bit dodgy.
    It didn't really explain much.

That was only the first time...when Voldie's soul went into him. When he went into the woods to face death that's when the Hallows kicked in. At least that's what I thought. The book left a lot for interpretion. Like everybody's death.

The saddest death for me was Dobby.

But wasn't there that explanation that while Voldemort could hurt him and stuff, he still couldn't kill him because while he took his blood, he didn't actually break the spell. So Harry could come back even if Voldemort killed him cause Voldemort had his blood which kept the spell working.

Dobby's death was indeed sad. I shed a tear at that.

Altogether I loved the book but I hate that she killed a lot of great characters Mad-Eye, Hedwig, Dobby, Tonks, Lupin, and Fred. It all made me so mad and sad. They were all great characters so why did they have to die? I know it all just had to happen but Fred and Tonks were some of my favorite characters. I'm so sad about all the people that died but happy about what happened in the end and I loved how Harry named his kids. I hope J.K Rowling makes more books like about his kids or something.

I know I DEFINITELY wanna know more about Albus Severus. He sounds like he's got an interesting future ahead of him.
