It was bad. Just plain and simple. If you compared it too the book it was a little too far off for my taste. They left too much stuff out and they tried to fit too much into 2 and a half hours.
If your not comparing it to the book. Well it was still pretty bad. It was rushed the directing and camera was bad.
I just didn't like it at all. Sorry guys.

They filmed this movie far too melodramatically. I wasn't even five minutes into this flick until I realized where the cinematography was going. The entire thing was far too melodramatic looking for its own good.
Had they toned down the crazy cinematography and fixed Cho Chang's and Sirius's scenes better, I might have given this film a chance.
Even then the chance isn't very good... I miss those murderous brains...

The main problem of the movie was that it was rushed. 2 hrs and fifteen min could never cover eight-hundred and sixty-some page book.... It just doesn't happen. Even the traditional movie is at least 2hr and 45min. They could have made it a little longer or just make two movies for this one book because its just too long to put into one movie. It would be great if they made an extended edition for this movie like they did w/LOTR. Then we could watch the scenes that would have been in this movie but were taken out like the full pensive scene. (I really wanted to see that whole scene w/James and Lily).

I happened to see the whole Sirius scene. WTF? I didn't think it'd be that bad! It was pretty lame... the book had a lot more emotion in it. I think they should have made the movies in installments too. There's no way you can put an entire year into 2 hours. Movies never do that.

Honestly I thought the movie was kind of a let down. I mean seriously, they left out so many details that would explain a lot of different things!
They left of Sirius's mom screaming her head off when they went into Grimewauld place! It's not going to make sense when they use her in the 6th or 7th movies(especially the 7th!)
I was disappointed but I enjoyed the graphics. They were amazing!
Shoot they didn't even add Cho getting angry at Harry because she thought he was with Hermione. *pouts*

I heard somewhere that they aren't going to film anymore Quitdditch scenes. So no more quitdditch. But I really liked the movie.
Except Tonks. I didn't like who they got to play her. She doesn't seem like Tonks, whereas the girl they got to play Luna seemed like the embodiement of the Luna character. She even had the perfect VOICE for the role! Luna was perfect, Tonks just sucked.
I don't like movie Tonks. stare

I really enjoyed the movie. Although I agree with you, it was to rushed. And I hated that it was so little Ron and Hermoine. I loved who they got to play Bellatrix and Luna. I basically HATED the book, so I thought the movie got to be better, and it was. So I'm pretty much impressed.

I watched it again yesterday and I think I became annoyed and bored, but dude, seriously, the one thing I noticed was how much muscular Daniel Radcliffe was. rofl My sis, who never saw the movie til then, was like "omg, he got more handsome." It made me laugh. Even more, I absolutely adore the girl playing Luna and loved Helen Bonham Carter's energy playing Bellatrix.

I saw the movie just yesterday, and when i watched it... I died just a little bit on the inside. I can't really describe it, but when your read a book, your imagination really takes over, and makes it a bit more real then the movie. So that's why I died inside when I saw this.
