loraxond stood still now, he smelled something in the wind or something rather. Now is not the time to be standing here! he thought as he watched 238 lunges towards the beast striking it and tearing a chunk of its soft underbelly open
"Ive got it now!" Loraxond said as he fired several more shots now but the beast was more enraged than ever and protecting its stomach with everything it had.
He smelled the air he now knew it was mako in the air..."wait i know that scent but it couldnt be a soldier...could it?" he siad in a low voice.
The beast was now in full stance as it lept toward 667 and himself. "RUN!" he said as he took off in a mad dash to the beasts left side.
"I thought you knew how?!?" he yelled at 238 as the beast scratched his arm, tearing off his sleve.

Cloud noticed the one recognized the scent. Most people knew that the eyes were a tell-tale sign to have been in Soldier, but few knew of the scent. As far as he knew only those who had high Mako exposure have known of the scent. But this guy had noticed Cloud was there on the roof watching, and he hadnt looked up there at all. Cloud placed a hand on his sword and readied himself, prepared to leap down and strike.

Once again the scent caught him of gaurd, "Damn it why cant i remember how i know that scent?" he thought as he looked for the scent.
He stoped, and looked up towards the roof.
"His eyes!" his mind screamed as his eyes seemed to zoom in on the spiky haired shadow.
He collapses to his knees holding his head holding the screams that tormented his mind as flashes of images filled his head. He remembered the shadows name, he didnt know how but he knew it.
"Cloud..." he whidspered not noticing the massive creature now looming over him, or the screams of 238 or 667 yelling at him to move, he just saw the shadow of the man on the roof.
so many questions filled his head, and then it donned on him that the monster still needed to be defeated he turned just in time to see the monster bring down its massive claws.
His eyes closed.

Cloud jumped down, swinging his massive blade and slamming it into the monsters head before deftly landing next to Loraxond. The monster howled in pain and reared back, away from the kneeling man. "Stand up. It's not over yet," Cloud said as he slid a Gravity materia into one of his sword's open slots and faced the monster.

"You? How do i know you?!?" He yelled as he stumbled against the wall of the church still holding his head.
"Damnit!" Loraxond yelled as he shot several more rounds toward the massive beast with only one landing a succesfull blow.
The beast was now in a mad frenzy, charging towards cloud and himself.

238 hacked away at one of the beasts legs taking out quite a chunk. She takes a break to whipe her face, and the hacks away some more.
667 gives up on shooting and starts casting high level magic. Along with an occasinal heal here and there.

Cloud furiously slashed at the monster's face and shoulders, drawing cuts every 2 to 3 slashes. He'd jump back about every 5th or 6th slash and cast gravity 2 on it. this monster want ordinary. "Fight now, talk later!" he yelled to Loraxond as he cast gravity 2 again.

Loraxond smiled as he stood, he now had an oppertune time to strike.
Not knowing how he knew such information he shouted "Aim for the open chest cavity, its the weakest point!!!" Loraxond stood and cast a fire2 on the open wound in the chest cavity.

Cloud switches out his gravity materia with a bolt materia and casts Bolt 3 right behind Loraxond's Fire 3, nailing the exact same place.

The beast began to bellow and stumble to its knees
"NOW!!!" Loraxond shouted as he fired of another shot with a fire three following.

Cloud launches another Bolt 3 behind Loraxond's Fire 3. Jumping back and readying his sword, he rushes forward and slams the point of his sword in the wound the Fire3 and Bolt3 made.

The Beast bellowed and collapsed on its face.
"Hey! Could do me a favor and lob the head and claws off ok?" Loraxond had an idea.

Cloud pulled his massive sword free and turned towards Loraxond. "Why on earth would you want the creature's head and claws?"

"Heh heh just trust me ok?" Loraxond thought "If ya must know" he stated pushing down the sword. "im going to make myself a weapon, i dont know how i know how to....but i will." Loraxond said walking into the church and pulling out a long heacy piece of wood. "Just do it and ill show you ok?" Loraxond smiled as he found some old nais laying on the ground.

Cloud extended the creature's head and set himself. Swinging with all his might, he heard the satisfying "shunk" as his sword passed through the neck and into the wooden floor. Leaving his sword there, he pulled a hidden knife out of his right boot and knelt near the creature's front feet. "All the claws or just the first set?"
