Reneeka sighed, fiddling around with a tiny scrap of paper she'd stolen off of one of Angie's notebooks. Folding it, back and forth back and forth, not necessarily trying to make anything of it, just seeing how many times she could fold it before it was either too thick to fold again, or too tiny to even try.
Litte did the tiny fairy know, but Angie was sneaking in behind her, with a small box. A present for her feien friend. Angie's ears twitched, and she felt a sneeze coming on... so much for surprises.. "Hey..Rene..." AaaaaaachhoooOO!!!! Angie winced as Reneeka nearly jumped out of her skin before turning around to look at her. "Hi Angie, didn't know you were back there..." Angie nodded, chuckling softly. "You've been looking kind of down lately, lonely... And I know haven't been as attentive lately... So I got you a present..." The fox-girl set the box on the table next to the fairy and waited. The box vibrated momentarily, then lay still again.
Reneeka tilted her head, wondering what on earth could be in there... "A present? For me? I...thank you..." Her bond nudged her gently. "Go on, open it." Only a second more of hesitation, then Reneeka quickly rushed over to the box and pushed the lid off. Inside she found two gorgeous pixa cats, one smaller than the other. "OH my!!! They're gorgeous!!!!" Reneeka was torn between dashing up and hugging Angie's neck, or pulling the pixacats out. She choose the latter. Lifting the pretty golden tabbies out of their box, mewing and meowing happily, Reneeka examined them both. "Hmm..Female..." a pause, then, "Raina...Yes, Raina shall be her name." The second was lifted out. "A little boy...how about... Aarin." Happy purring ensued as she cuddled both cats to her, then looked up at Angie. "They're so gorgeous. Thank you so much Angie." A happy grin floated across the fairy's face, pasted there for all to see.
"I'm glad sweetie. I was hoping you'd like them." Yaay! Angie'd made a good choice! And Reneeka was happy with them, which was the whole point. "Your first pixas.... you realize these little guys are addicting, right?" Ang giggled at the hyper nod she was given in answer. "Why don't you go set them up in your room? I'll work on getting a litter box for them, same as I've set up for my swarm, and we'll make sure to snatch them some treats as well. Alright?"
"Sounds good Angie," the feien grinned happily, more than overjoyed at her new aquisition. Snuggling the two cats, Reneeka fluttered towards her room, more of a corner in Angie's room where she listened to music and such. Angie'd set up some cardboard boxes for now...and made a little home of it, eventually she'd build something more permanent for the fairy. But for now, Reneeka was quite pleased with it, and had spruced it up quite nicely. It was here that she set her new charges, her very own pixacats. "Welcome home, Raina and Aarin... hope you like it here." Again, she was greeted with happy purrs and mewls. It was the beginning of a WONDERFUL friendship.
