As much as I hate it, I know pain can be a good thing sometimes. Its a message our nerves send to the brain when something happens to the body that shouldn't happen, so that we can attempt to stop it from happening. I mean, if you touch a hot stove you pull your hand away really quickly 'cause it hurts, right? If you didn't feel pain, you might just keep your hand there and get really serious burns.
As for me, I'm quite sick of physical pain, having endured a ton if it. I mean, since I'm pretty hyper I'm constantly running into walls and stuff, (xD) but its more than just that. Being the athletic type I'm constantly getting injured, and the frequent dentist and orthodontist visits I used to have in the past were sure to be painful. I remember when I used to have planners warts on the bottom of my feet (They don't actually look like warts... they're not a different color or anything. They're just tiny little bumps on your feet.) I went to the doctor for them and the first thing they did was scrape at all of them with a knife. My feet were all bloody, and it was one of the most painful things I've ever had to endure. D;
So, yepyep... pain might feel horrible, but its for a good cause.
EDIT:: One time during school, during sewing class while I was ironing something, the girl ironing next to me accidently set her iron on my hand. Now THAT was painful. o.o;;

To me, pain keeps me alive! Once, I got a tooth filled and the numbing stuff got on my tounge. Afterwards, even though they warned me, I found myself biting my tounge all the time. I only figured it out when a part of my tounge that wasn't affected by the numbing stuff was bitten. Without pain I would unknowingly kill myself!! gonk

Aiedail217 To me, pain keeps me alive! Once, I got a tooth filled and the numbing stuff got on my tounge. Afterwards, even though they warned me, I found myself biting my tounge all the time. I only figured it out when a part of my tounge that wasn't affected by the numbing stuff was bitten. Without pain I would unknowingly kill myself!! gonk Yea that happens to me when I come from the dentist stressed I migth get a root canal soon gonk

The pain I could live without would for sure be those menstrual cramps.
Ugh.
Don't get me started on my rant. I could go on for hours.
I understand that how Periods are helpful to a female body, and all that jazz. But the cramps is what makes me kinda wish I was a boy.
As long as I have pain killers, I'll be fine.
But It is always the third day when they are bad. So bad that if I am not doped up to the max, I puke out everything and anything.
But pain in general, it is for a good reason. I see it as your brain telling you "DON'TDOTHATAGAINDUMBASS!"
But causing yourself pain, bleh. Why the 'ell would you do that?!
I would not, and would not ever be able to cut myself. Yuck. You'd have to be seriously messed up to enjoy doing that.

I understand that how Periods are helpful to a female body, and all that jazz. But the cramps is what makes me kinda wish I was a boy.

Pain is an indicator that somethings wrong. There was one time where I was stuck under a baracade and people were running and falling ontop of it.. that killed. I would've rather not felt anything at that time, 'cause nothing serious came of it (it the baricade was a little lower, I would've broken both my legs though...) So, yeah it sucks sometimes, but it's better to feel pain then be seriously injured and not get check 'cause you don't even realize you were injured to begin with!

marshjazz Pailzor marshjazz Blessing. Without it, you have to set a timer to tell you when to pee. And sometimes that fails to work and you end up pieing yourself. People who live without pain (yes there is a rare disease) Have to check everything, everytime they do anything. Count teeth, check for cuts, make sure everything is there.
(Leprosy) ninja The pressure on your blatter, causes a sensation, which if your not feeling pain, your not feeling the "time to pee" feeling. Anyways, since I can't find it online, I'm off to watch that house episode. Which unfortunately is in the third season, so I can't watch it. That's where I heard of it! Twas a good episode.

Angelic Priestess Xena To get away from the subjects of grapefruit, pickles,mannequins with nipples and so on I though we should have a little more serious topic, Could you live without pain? And by pain I mean the pain you feel when you burn yourself or scrape your knee. I couldn't, pain protects you from hurting yourself more in most cases and its like a indicator of some sort you know. To me pain is a blessing. ○♥○ I agree with you without pain, you'd get hurt worse so much easier... and yeah... ○♥○

i love pain pain is wut keeps me going.pain is weakness leaving your body.i deal with pain all the time so im pretty much use to it.
